Monitoring DBMS_JOBS status

Hi all

I have Oracle 11 GR 2 on windows 2008 server R2 64 bit version.
its my environment.i of development gave to create, delete, modify dbms_jobs to other users, when I check in user_jobs some body changed last_date column...
So question here is I want to know who changed the column?
1. do we have any what display where we can verify and meet this change?
2.i have trace enabled in my database. but I do not know what file trace should I check?
3 and if I want to follow this, how is it possible?

Thank you and best regards,
Vikash Jain (Junior DBA)

As said sangare values will change if the task is completed successfully.

You can see who ran that work by querying the view user_jobs;

If auditing is enabled, then you can query

SQL > SELECT user name, owner, obj_name, action, timestamp FROM dba_audit_trail;

to display the user who performed the action on the database.

If you want to learn more about the audit through the link below

  • Monitor the status of the IIS service

    Hi all

What is the best way to control a service IIS when its rebooted? Configure IIS in windows Agent?

    Please guide me

    Thank you

If you use the cartridge of the Infrastructure WindowsAgent, optionally monitor all or a set of selected Services.

To configure this, modify the properties of WindowsAgent. Clone the defaultServices Services of screen' list and add "World Wide Web Publishing Service" (the full name of the IIS service) to the cloned list, as shown in the following screenshot.

Allow a monitoring of this service and all the others want to follow.

Turn on possibly "restart if stopped.

Once you save these properties of the agent, the WindowsAgent will start collecting the State of these services, storing the data in /os/services.

Here is a table drag - déposer created by removing this list of services on a portal and configuring the columns:

  • Service monitoring on virtual machines in windows

    Hi people,

We recently bought VFoglight and also NMS.how (with what I bought) if I monitor the status of windows services? -i.e. can I follow specific (or all automatic) services and warning of the they change order?  Is this doen via the infra cartridge as it would be easier than having to alos use a NMS agent on each server.

    All advice appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Davie,

If you see this - http://edocs.quest.com/foglight/563/doc/Cartridge/InfrastructureCartridge/UsingTheCartridge.02.4.php

You can see the agent properties different (accessible from the Administration-> the State of the Agent). Click on your WindowsAgent agents in the list and change the properties.

The drop-down menu to "Collect measures of Service" has a few options for all, no or specified.

The rule of "HostServiceRestart", generates an email if a monitored service is stopped and an agent is configured to restart. It is disabled by default.

The rule "HostServices" generates an alarm and sends an email if a host service changes its status. If it changes to run anything else, it generates a warning alert.

    Hope that helps,

  • Monitoring of virtual machines running on the UCS blades

We are in the process of migration of servers HP rack to Cisco UCS blades. I have 4 blades UCS running ESXi and dΘmarrez from SAN. We have configured in HP SIM HP servers to monitor hardware issues and the status of the VM. Now Let's watch the material of the UCS in UCS Manager, but I still need to monitor the status of virtual machines. I looked at existing Solarwinds NPM we have all our ESXi HP servers to Solarwinds. What I've discovered, is that we cannot add the individual to NPM ESXi blades, because we can not configure SNMP (or we).

Which means that migrate us from HP servers for UCS blades, we lose the ability to monitor the State of the CPU and VM.

How people monitor their virtual machines in an environment of UCS?

    Thank you.

We monitor our UCS ESXi 5 with SNMP hosts and use Solarwinds NPM.  It works well.  These are the commands that we send through our VMA (free VMware) server to a new host.

    vicfg-snmp - root server - username - password it

    vicfg-snmp - root server - username - password you @162.

    vicfg-snmp - root server - username - password e

There's probably a way to do it on the console of the host, but I don't know what it could be.

  • Virtual machine monitor problems

    Hello

I just installed VM because we want to monitor and confiure our IDS using this.

I installed it the "Cisco Correct way" which puts the monitor on a server and the Consol of Managament IDS on the other.

I added manually in all sensors in the management console, but when I look at the monitor-> device status, all 76 sensors I've added it says its 'not connected '.

I used the option that the monitor must pick up the sensor post office protocols.

I can PIng the sensors, ssh o sensor, etc, etc, etc, but this 'thing' always shows that he is "not connected".

Where should I start to get out of trouble?

    Thanks a ton

    Mike

    Hi Mike,.

You got the right answer in your message. The sensors should be referred to the Security Monitor box and not the MC that the events are sent to the SecMon and the post office runs between the sensors and the SecMon.

Log on to the sensor as root and run sysconfig-sensor, option 6 and enter the details of SecMon for the part ID Manager of this config.

    Thank you

  • How to get the material status of ESXi host of external surveillance system?

    Hello!

I've got hardware ESXi host information (for example, CPU, disk, etc.)

I really really slighty possible via Powershell saw...

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

the link that I commented, explian how to monitor the status of the ESXi hardware by using the cmdlets for powershell CIM 3.0.

    Not the virtual machines

    This, will you?

Check this code from the link, you should notice that connects to an esxi host, not virtual machines:

    import-moduleCimCmdlets

    3 $HostUsername="root"

  • Physical disk: how to monitor.

    Hello

I use Dell servers, three of them, with by hcl

As I suspected, your SSD there not all the INTELLIGENT features reported outside the current temperature and the number of read/write errors, but no thresholds, now this means two things

    1. the player does not support these SMART features

    2. the implementation of the features is not the standard method of INTELLIGENT integration

It would be a question for Dell take their engineering products and for them, in order to participate with SanDisk, I think always that it's odd that SanDisk took that model certified but Dell have

So with this drive, it would take before that VSAN knows that something is wrong.  At least now you know now

  • Qmail monitoring

    Hi people,

    Anyone watching qmail with AC?
I played a bit around to do some basic followed by qmail, but are not very successful.
One thing I did for checking if qmail is sending mail, was to check the process belonging to qmails (which is the 'sending' user).
I also want to monitor the status of the other qmail services such as qmail-smtpd etc.
At the command line, the thing in fact to do this is to run for example "svstat/service / *" which shows all the processes of daemontools and their State as well as their up-/ time to stop and PID.
AFAIK daemontools do not write PID "real" files
Another thing I want to do is a few stats about qmail mailqueue.
At the command line, it's done by for example ' / var/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat "which shows for example" messages in the queue: 6803.
messages in the queue, but not yet of pre-treatment: 997 "
Generate graphs of these results would be nice, too.

Checking if qmail sends mail (as above) was made by adding a service that checks the process and has 'CredName.User.eq = qmails' as process.query.

Can anyone please help with answers or point me to the right way to do these things?

    See you soon

    Tobias

I'm glad to hear it works from the command line, I added the
steps to use the plugin to Headquarters:
    http://support.Hyperic.com/Confluence/display/DOCSHQ27/qmail+plugin#qmailPlugin-usage

Also updated the plugin with 2 changes:
-Add a configuration property 'hostname' for the services used in the
    metric models, default is "localhost".
-Add metric "Outbound connections" to both services

For more information on the filters:
    http://support.Hyperic.com/Confluence/display/DOCSHQ27/plugin+XML+descriptor#PluginXMLDescriptor-filtertag

    And metric models:
    http://support.Hyperic.com/Confluence/display/DOCSHQ27/measurement+plugin#MeasurementPlugin-metrictag

Keep the comments and questions coming, this helps fill
many of the blanks in the plugin docs.

  • Control of the status/OS-level database connectivity (* nix)

    Hi all

What is the most complete of the singular* check to monitor the status "running" and "connectivity" of an ORACLE database on a Unix-like platform?

Checks the State of SMON ps - ef | grep smon confirm these two statements:
    (1) database is running. and,

  • Sierra - changes to files, Log and the impact to Time Machine

    Hello

Updated for Sierra and have a minor but very annoying problem. I hope someone can help.

In the Sierra before the SYSLOG command would print the system from the Console log. Time Machine executions have been recorded there. With a simple command-line grep "iMac com.apple.backupd" I could find all the Time Machine backups and see backup times and pass/fail status, when an error has occurred, the error type.

Monitor the status of backup is critical for me.

In the Sierra, the log files are completely different. I can't find where time machine stores its entries or what these entries look like.

Anyone know how Sierra I accomplish the above? In a log file or elsewhere?

    Thank you

    Al

If I order a new watch how many days can I cancel the order?

    Hello

It would be possible to modify and cancel an order prior to the point when it has reached "Preparation for shipping. After that, you will need to return it after reception.

By placing an order, you will be informed of the maturity expected for shipping.

You can also monitor the status of your order online (including any amendment to the end expected).

  • My MacBook charger heats up, is it ok?

I'm on MacBook AIr and my charger heats up. Is this right?

Must it be factors that add a load on the computer.

such as the high screen brightness, multimedia or the CPU

a use that would draw more power of the MagSafe adapter, wi - fi

usage and other items running, the adapter can get rather hot.

Activity monitor (utility) and the System/System Information report

might be useful to see what uses system resources. They fed

by the battery or the AC adapter. By paying attention to these charges &

your choice of parameters, you can monitor the status of the system, & battery life.

Software can be run in the background, too. who can add a load.

And if you had used the MacBook Air without a power cord for a while, in

return adapter with MagSafe, without leaving the sit Mac and load,

the charger would get warmer if also to power the computer and try to

recharge the batteries. Virtually all of the combinations of parameters user & choice

can add up to power requirements imposed on the MagSafe power adapter.

For example, if you have an antivirus running scan, which is

a question of a strain on the system and the power adapter will be

respond to any request of the components running inside the computer. And to warm up.

So anything that can be useful to save energy during the execution of a stack

can be useful for the maintenance of the battery when charging it. And on--

charge the battery (several charge/recharge cycles) or let it roll flat,.

can be detrimental to the life of the battery and the charger as well.
