• Media link browser window manager does not open in Premiere Pro

  Hello, I just installed (own) first pro (Build 10.4.0 (30)) on my pc and have my first troubleshooting.

  If I do a cliip offline and I try to recreate a link towards it, the media link manager browser looks open but doesn't appear on the screen. I have to type escape to return to the main window of first.

  I've tested this with a new project and a clip on the timeliine.

  I have only 1 monitor and the latest graphic drivers. (nvidia gtx 980 Ti)

  It sounds like something got Smurf with your installation.  Try holding down SHIFT + ALT keys at startup PP.  Hold them down until the PP is completely open.

• records missing when you use the Media link

  First CC 2014 is not that two of my RAID drives when I try media link which went offline.  This is a new box of menu now, and I can't find any way to see two of my RAID drives.

  But first CC 2014 can totally see these readers, because I'm editing with other media on them.  And I see these drives in import.

  Any thoughts?  Is this a bug?  I have already made a lot of editing and should be able to recreate a link to 197 clips, not import them and start again...

  Oh and first CC, the Media Link menu is the same that the import menu, so this is new for 2014...

  I found the answer.  I have one of the 9 RAIDs to partitioned into 2 partitions (4.5 to each) and now the first can see that animate related media.

  It seems that it is simply a disk size limitation in the link media function.

• RAID DRIVE WILL NOT WORK IN THE MEDIA LINK BROWSER

  I have a RAID 5 drive connected to my MACPRO (MacPro5, 1), OSX 10.9.2. His work correctly on the BONE. In first Pro CC I can import files from it no problem, everything seems to go well until I try to link the media about him. The link media browser will not access it. I can see it, I can see the icon of RAID, but it will not access the files.

  Media link Explorer it will not appear on the list of the local drives on the left pane. When I double click on local hard disks, on the right pane, I can see the RAID HD icon, but when I click on it it won't open it. He knows its there, but can't access it. I don't understand. I can import files, etc., but not to link the files. I have to redo the entire sequence with the files of this RAID drive and its working days.

• Media link problems

  I have a new droid and installed the multimedia link to transfer music files.  I plug the droid by usb, start media link, "mount" the USB then Media Link found the phone.  I select the files I want to transfer and click on synchronize.  Multimedia link seems to start the synchronization, but nothing ever happens.  I hope that someone can point out the thing if I can avoid wasting more time on this silly thing.

  If you have your music files on your PC in MP3 format, I wouldn't bother with Media Link.  Simply connect the Droid and mount the SD card.  When the map opens in Windows Explorer, make a folder on it for files and copy them to the PC.  I made a folder at the root of the card called 'MP3' and found no problem music player.

• Last update adds a new tab with social media links to the exsisting homepages. How can I stop this?

  Your "more system details' shows the extension MySearchDial. I recommend you to remove that from the addons page (if possible) or from the control panel.

  Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then find MySearchDial and remove (or at least turn it off).

  If necessary, open the Control Panel, uninstall a program, then click on "installed on" heading of the column to bring recent infections, uh, additions, upward.

  What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?

  Do you receive messages ' where is the file...? When you try to go to re - open projects saved/closed? • Media link on network in Pro CC first drive

  Hello. In first pro CC, I am linking the media that has been changed or moved in a project. The media I'm looking for is on a network drive. When I click on "find media" I don't then browse the network there is simply no hard drive appears in the dropdown list "network drives". Any ideas on how to first see my network to locate these files? Thanks in advance. BB.

  I just had the same problem. The solution was to create a shortcut to the folder holding the media on my desk. Then in the file to locate first, I could dive into the access server and link the files in this way. Although this solution has a major flaw, as it relies on the shortcut to be there. If you delete the shortcut files can no longer be located.

  Sidenote: that first does not at this time, to access the media on many servers, is very surprising for me.

• Social media links work only from office?

  Hello and please accept my apologies for the display of a third question today!  First of all, it is so big that Muse can help establish a Tablet and phone the site version, but I found a few problems to the links button works correctly.  Everything works fine except the links of social media, which work perfectly from the desktop, but cease to work in versions of the Tablet and phone.  All non-social links media work differently in all 3 versions of the site.  Indices can I hurt?  Thank you very much!

  I checked the site in Tablet and phone devices works social icon.

  Tested with iPad, iPhone, android and Google Nexus phones with different browsers.

  Please note that if you are not logged in to Facebbok and Twitter in the same browser then it may ask you to sign in first without showing the exact page.

  Try the suggestion and it is always the same question, I would like to know the details of the browser and the details of device you are testing.

• Lost media links

  I'm composing a long sequence of photos from Photoshop and keep the loss of links. I have to constantly reprinted media, and worse yet, I link the files individually. PP cannot permanently bind those photos? If not, can not just simply point to the folder where these files are located and do them all relinked (in the same way as InDesign?). I lose a huge amount of time and really need an answer.

  I guess that your multimedia files are on an external or network drive?

  If they are on a local disk (internal)... it is unlikely that they will break the link.
