Hi davidbornheimer,

1. What is the version of Windows installed on the net accountant?

2 are you able to access other USB devices on the computer?

3. what happens when you connect the mouse to the computer?

I suggest you to check if there are updates or patches for the mouse on the seller's website.

    I got my Curve 8330 since August 2009.  The mouse ball has stopped working when I move it in the direction to the bottom.  It works very well go to the top, left or right, but not down.  He did a few months ago, then miraculously started working again.  This time, he began to work again for about 20 minutes and stopped again.  I pulled the battery and put it again to do a full reboot, but anything will do. 2 questions:

    Is it possible to fix this?

    Warranty will cover that?

    JW

    Hello

    There may be a relatively easy way to solve this problem.  Chances are that the trackball just got dirty over time and is now no longer responds.  One way to solve this problem maybe to clean the trackball.  To do this, remove the battery from your device and take a Q-Tip (or a different cotton swab) and wet with rubbing alcohol.  Use the cotton swab, clean the surface of the trackball and then spin the trackball to clean the next section.  Continue doing this until the ball moves smoothly in all directions.  Please note that to avoid any problems with moisture, avoid soaking the cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and allowing the alcohol to seep into the device - once you remove of rubbing alcohol, simply dab it along the edge to remove excess flows first.

    Once this is done, simply reinsert the battery and wait for the device to reboot.  Who help me?

    If this isn't the case, it may be a problem with the sensors under the trackball, in which case compensation will likely be necessary.

    So now, if your unit is still under warranty (for example if you have purchased an extended warranty with your phone), your warranty indeed covers that.  In this case, you can simply contact your provider or the location where bought you your device for you learn about a repair/replacement warranty.

  • Microsoft will make the D67 - 00001 Microsoft Trackball Optical Mouse ever?

    I went to buy a new one and just discovered, it is no longer made... This is the best mouse I've ever used. Everyone else is doing with the trackball of thumb?

    I did not use a conventional mouse shaped move-your-hand-across old style in several years and the another model of mouse tractball, I simply do not like. I REALLY enjoy Ashley style thumb trackball mouse, it leaves my fingers free to click the mouse buttons and I can easily turn and rotate in the game without having to move my hand at all.

    If I can't get more or if anyone makes them I want Microsoft to know that there are customers on here for them and that if they want to sell more of them, then I think that everything they really need to do is to advertise and make them available. It's the most comfortable mouse that I have ever owned, and there was a very short learning curve for her. I tried other mice with the trackball at hand, and I don't like them at all.

    What is the problem you are having with your D67-00001 Microsoft Trackball Optical Mouse?

    I'm sorry to inform him that the product you are looking for is more in production and is not available for sale on the online Microsoft store.

    I would suggest that you use your favorite search engine to find a mouse with the same characteristics using keywords among other manufacturers of computer accessories Trackball Mouse-mouse ball of thumb track.

  • Microsoft Comfort Mouse 3000 mouse wheel click on the problem

    Hello

    I just got this mouse today and really like the shape and the weight of it, however I have a major problem - click wheel mouse only works to a certain (very uncomfortable angle) and even in this case, not all the time. I installed the drivers and all...

    .. sure you can not help me with anything whatsoever, so I'm going to exchange it for a different mouse to the store in the next few days, unless the problem disappears

    .. That's all :(

    Hi pas0003,

    If it works, try the steps and check them off below.

    (a) check the connection of the mouse. If the mouse is connected via a USB port, make sure that the cable is not loose. Push the USB connector to make sure it is sitting comfortably. If the mouse has an older serial port connection, make sure that the connector has not become loose and check the pins of the serial port for any signs of damage.

    (b) plug the mouse into a different port on the computer and test. The port may be damaged or the computer can recognize is no longer the mouse into this port.

    (c) inspect the cord of the mouse for signs of damage and make sure that the cord has not broken loose from the end of the USB connector or the mouse itself. If the mouse wire has been broken or the wires are are spare at each end, the mouse may need to be replaced.

    (d) clean the mouse. A mouse that uses a ball to track needs frequent cleaning. Unscrew the plastic ring on the underside of the mouse in the direction indicated by the arrows on the mouse. Remove the mouse ball and clean the ball and inside the mouse, paying special attention to the small roller inside the mouse. Use a cotton swab or a clean non fluffy towel and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Let the parts dry, then reassemble the mouse. It should run more smoothly.

    (e) check the mouse settings. Click on the 'Start' button on the computer, and then click "Control Panel." Depending on the operating system, you may need to click "Settings" first go to the "Control Panel". Click on "mouse". Review the settings on the various tabs to see if changes are needed to solve the problems.

    (f) uninstall all hardware or software newly added. Check the performance of the mouse. If the problem is resolved, there may be a conflict with the mouse and the new program or hardware.

    (g) put end to the program you are working and you restart the computer. If a user clicks on the mouse too many times in quick succession, the memory of the computer may freeze, which in turn freezes the mouse.

    (h) examine the lock button for a mouse integrated on a laptop. If the mouse stops working, we can get key lock, usually located just above the mouse button. Press the button to unlock.

    If the previous step fails then you can go ahead and return the mouse to get a new one, as there may be a problem with the mouse itself because it is news.

    I hope this helps!

  • Why the cursor of my moving the mouse in jerky movements?

    I am using Windows 7 and have a new mouse Microsoft.  Any kind of surface, I place the mouse, the cursor moves in jerky movements.  It is difficult to get to the right spot.  I changed the block but no difference.

    Hello

    If it is a mouse ball rolling, remove the ball and clean the internal rollers.

    If it is an optical mouse, try it on another surface, ideally with a uniform color.

    Cross of test with another mouse if symptoms persist.

  • Satellite L455D - How can I disable touchpad & WiFi slow

    I just got this new laptop and I really NEED to disable the touchpad. It drives me crazy jumping everywhere when I type.

    I tried Fn + F9 and it does not work. I looked in the control panel and I can uninstall the drivers, but can't turn it off. I like to use a mouse ball roll except when I'm traveling, so I don't want to uninstall the drivers. Is there a simple way to turn it off?

    In addition, it seems to be EXTREMELY slow to access the internet with a Wi - Fi connection. Nothing is different with my internet connection or service except that cell phone provider is probably ten times slower than my old laptop.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    I can't go back to Acer because the motherboard is dead or I would be.

    > Is there a simple way to turn it off?

    Go to the Panel control-equipment and audio peripheral slot and printers, click the mouse, you will see the Touchpad settings windows. In this touchpad settings windows, go to the device settings and check, disable the external internal when pointing device usb pointing device is connected, press on, apply, and Ok.

  • Temporary folder

    I have a Pavilion a324x - 2004 - bought OS is XP home, ISP-VersionDSL - 768kb.  I'm an amateur on computers.   When I download a game and he asks me I want to 'run' or 'save', I click on save.  OK, it is said that it is saved in a temporary folder.  My question: where is this temporary folder because I can't find it when I search?

    Question 2: My mouse pointer going to a different place on the screen by itself. Is my hard drive about to go bad? The computer is not activated or used, which often (maybe 10 hours per week).

    For alittle history: in February 2008, after "Updates" to automatic did his thing, I get the dialog box saying, "updates to take effect, I need to restart the computer. I restarted the computer and every 20 minutes, and then in October 2008, when I did a system restore, I kept getting the same message. Now, Windows Update works fine, but now everything takes a long time to load (open), the mouse has a mind of its own, and I can't do a check disk to repair the bad sectors. Since I can't afford to buy security software, I use Avg, Spybot and Adaware.  What I tried: the memory Test has been authorized, the CPU usage was 4-16, Defragged, Check(scan for and attempt to recover bad sector) disc was ok, an ESET online scanner was ok, the value system of best performance, disbled some Startups, disk cleanup, trash emptied, deleted browsing history which I regularly. Thanks for any help.

    Sure... I apologize for having the back so late. Been away for a few days.

    If a roll mouse tracks the flakily - that is, the mouse pointer moves sometimes and and then stops... you lift the mouse and shake it up a bit - can help a bit, etc., there are two things:

    (1) clean the rollers and the rolloerball: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00326541

    (2) open the housing (remove the screws and disassemble) and clean around tracking records. These are usually two small black wheels with many small holes on the edges. This can be a real pain. Normally, the problem is solved by cleaning the mouse ball and especially the rolls inside the opening where you removed the mouse ball.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones in co-operative "Pointer" on Blackberry Curve 8310

    Hello - the "pointer", the white ball used to "surf" programs, does not work properly.  I can move the pointer, the 'right' or 'left' without problems.  But I can't move the pointer "down".  I don't know if the pointer will go up "" because I can not move the pointer "down".

    Is it possible to get the pointer to work properly, or is the cell phone broken repairable ir?

    Push and hold the mute button on top or turn the unit off.

    Then press the trackball and roll around in all directions.  You may need to do this for a minute or two.  Most likely it is just fluff inside, just like an old mouse ball.  There is really nothing in there that can go wrong, with the exception of the ball getting dirty.

  • Need help with effects of scrollbar for scrolling horizontal + vertical website

    Hello

    Recently, I came across a Web site that uses horizontal and vertical scrolling where 1 roll = browser full length move to the next section (as opposed to several rotations in a continuous movement of the mouse ball like most websites). Please see the example here because I'm probably not very well explain : A Chocolate Bar, Restaurant and shop chocolate, Fondue, gift boxes and more | Max Brenner ()http://maxbrenner.com).

    I wonder if this effect is something that can be done in Muse and if so, how. This is something that I see more and more and behaves almost like a slideshow that can be controlled by scrolling.

    Thank you!

    Michele

    Hi Michele,

    I'm afraid that's not possible out of the box at this point, I would recommend that you post this in the section ideas here, ideas for features in Adobe Muse

    You can at the same time, use CSS to turn off the scroll bar, preventing the partial scroll of the page and by disabling the scroll, wheel leaving behind only your navigation to scroll the page.

  • Balls to reduce each mouse one time is clocked

    How do you make the balls reduce by each one once u click only once.

    That's what I've tried so far

    function duckGame(evt:MouseEvent):void

    {

    Bullet = 20;

    bulletsTxt.text = bullet.toString ();

    }

    function setBullet (): void

    If possible can u give me the code that I am not very sure how do.

    It should work (thought there is a commonly used shortcut, you can use) but you must call setBullet when you detect a mouse click

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, setBullet);

    function duckGame(evt:MouseEvent):void

    {

    Bullet = 20;

    bulletsTxt.text = bullet.toString ();

    -ball;

  • List of points of ball to animate in one at a time, but in response to the mouse clicking or a presentation clicker?

    Hello

    I am wanting to know if it is possible to create bullets similar to how PowerPoint or Keynote, but using InDesign and publish online the service or export ePub. More precisely where you can control when the next bullet in a list item is displayed using a clicker or the next button.

    Appreciate the help.

    Thank you very much

    L

    You can build it by creating an MSO and using the keys to advance to the next State.

    The first State would be the first chip animating in.

    The second State would have the first chip already in place and the animation of second ball.

    Lather rinse repeat for each State.
