• My screen has zoomed in

  Help, the display on my HP Pavilion has zoomed in so I can't see the screen at all times without having to swipe it.  I think this may happened well after that I found my cat asleep on the keyboard, so I don't know what he did or how to cancel it.  It is a problem that is difficult to live, especially with the game.  Help please!

• Windows 7 backup is much bigger than my source files.

  I have a new Dell Precision M6500 running Windows 7 pro 64-bit. Hard drive is 500 GB and I configured the backup and restore feature to backup to a hard disk of 500 GB eSata extrnal.

  I suggest you check the settings below.

  To view and manage your backup disk space

  (a) open backup and restore by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and Maintenanceand then clicking backup and restore.

  (b) click on Manage space. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  (c) now under data backup file, click view backups.

  Now, you would see the list of backup the value entered for each full backup, it should argued to the top entries.

  You should also see the set of data that has been saved, do you think that any new data that has been defined by the options?

  You can also view the contents of the Windows backup logs. They can be found at this place C:\Windows\Logs\WindowsBackup.

• Why is the catalog in Lightroom much bigger than 5 Lightroom CC

  I'm experimenting Lightroom CC on a Mac. I used Lightroom for years and Lightroom 5 catalog consisted of about 4 GB. When it was converted by the CC, it is now almost 16 GB. The settings for previews are the same and the number of photos and videos in the catalog is the same. Any ideas?

  Thank you all for the suggestions. I just renamed the file lrcat previews and restarted Lightroom and the Preview file has been recreated and is now a very reasonable 15MB. I assumed that the previews need has been corrupted somehow during the process of upgrading of 5 CC problem sorted. Thanks again. John

  I use Premiere Pro on a Mac. That has started to happen, is that when I drag a clip form the window source on the timeline, the video clip in the preview window is huge - from most large it displayed in the source window. I don't want to have to go in and resize each clip. What is the cause and how to fix it?  Also, I went into preferences and pliers to adjust the value.

  Firstly, the estimated file size just an estimate based primarily on a combination of bitrate and duration.   I tried to save several times, but every time I save the file, it's huge. (The first time I saved this image, said fireworks was about 20K in size, but the file measured only 1.4 MB!)

  I ahd this annoyance with the other images, but never on this size. A Jpeg photo that says Fireworks is 20 K records in the high 20s, for example. So I know Fireworks is not accurate.

  But accuracy aside, I can't simply reduce this file to a usable size. I don't know how else to change the image to a smaller size.

  Hello. I can't understand why the swf file is so small. I published it to 100% width & height (I want it to be full screen) but it appears only as 216 pixels maximum.

  It's probably just a setting somewhere that I'm on.

  I'm the see up to 100% in Chrome.

  However, as I look at the code, it seems that you did not place the typical html and style body that is needed to make 100% width/height:

  Right-click on an empty part of your desktop, and then click Properties. Click on the settings tab, drag the slider to the right. This should give the native resolution of your monitor. If not you may need to get the latest drivers for the graphics card.

  If that makes things too small, you can try to slide to the left to get a lower resolution but I suggest using only a resolution that maintains the same ratio as the native resolution of your screen.

  Your lowered obtained resolution. This can occur if you are running an older game that uses 800 x 600 for example.

  Control Panel > display > settings - change the resolution to correct for your monitor. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  You can "zoom in" all sites using this add-on: NoSquint. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.
  After the installation of NoSquint, click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.

  If you do not have the bar the module displayed, you can click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.

  You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but I wouldn't not much higher than 150% unless you have a large screen high resolution.

  If it works, then first close all other open windows of Firefox and then close Firefox via "file > exit/Quit" to save the setting.

• HP 15-R006TU: computer HP laptop 15-R006TU left half of the screen has turned white

  I turned my HP 15-R006TU laptop to Hibernate mode before going to sleep last night. Today morning when I turned it on half of the screen was white with a few lines inside. All software and operating system works very well. Its like it has a white cover on the left side of the screen. I can't access start menu because it is on the left side of the screen.

  I turned off my laptop and unplugged the adapter, then turned on again, but it remains the same. I have not changed the drivers or anything recently. I have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I use the dongle Auntie Photon Max for internet. My laptop is only 2 years.   It's the material. Can you connect to an external monitor? If the output is OK outside then we have reduced to a bad display cable or a bad screen. Much more likely the latter.
