MOUSEPAD not working not

My laptop is HP pavilion g6 2231tx.windows 8.1 os. After you install the IDT audio player software, my laptop mouse pad does not work.

Give me a solution please.

Your laptop model Synapstic Tochpad, not the Alps Touchpad... maybe you have intalled that bad... For the most part alps touchpad comes with DELL laptops...

uninstall the touchpad Alps-> programs control panel and install the touchpad which I gave, your problem should be solved

A mouse pad is normally a rectangle that you run your mouse above when using rubber.

It's a laptop? Do you mean the touchpad, not a mouse pad?

If so, and it has stopped working without your having done anything, it is likely that the material is not the manufacturer of the laptop.

  • Mousepad not working not not on Helix 2

I just bought a new propeller 2. The mouse pad does not work. Is there a key combination (function key, etc.) I might have accidentally pressed to turn it off?

Or maybe it's a DOA unit? I rebooted, disconnected and mooring, etc.. I have the Pro keyboard.

I saw there was a BIOS updated and who ended up fixing it. I don't know if that was really addressed by the update of the bios, or if she was just 'reset' things.

    Hello

Assuming you are using Windows 7, try the following.

First, download the latest installer driver Synaptics, on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp53501-54000/sp53851.exe

Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

    Once done, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  • Pav Notebook: Parameters of Synaptics Mousepad not saved after reboot with Win10

Hi all--nine of these forums. I find that my settings are lost whenever I have reset my laptop for the Synaptics touchpad options scroll mouse, which means I have to be forever just put the laptop to sleep, or reset the settings when you restart. A minor annoyance but when shell out you for a new phone, you expect the basic options to actually work.

No idea how to fix this? Apart from the very disappointing performance, it is my only complaint for the product

    Hello

    Try the following.

Hold down the Windows key and press R

In the run box, type regedit and press enter

In the registry editor, navigate to the following

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit

Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.

    Close the registry editor.

Make the Synaptics setting changes you need in the usual way and save them, and then check if they are now kept after a reboot.

I was me satellite c660 today when the buttons of the mouse pad and the left and right hand just stopped workin...

Then to control the mouse and Panel options and they say the software that manages the carpet mouse everything is perfect, but it is obviously not.

    Can someone help me? :(

    Hello

First check to see if the touch pad is not disabled.
You can enable and disable the touchpad through FN + F9.

If this is not enough, I recommend updating the driver for the touchpad.
Uninstall the driver for the touchpad, first, reboot the laptop and then install the new touchpad driver downloaded.

    Good luck

  • Mousepad does not not Pavilion dm4

Last night I woke up my computer to see that my mousepad not working. I thought it was some glitch like many others I've already found on this laptop (keys sound did not work properly, led light silent, not wanting to come away, etc.) And hope to restart and to solve the problem. Today, after the reboot, my mouse pad still does not work and I, apparently, am not the only one with this problem.

    My specs:

    HP Pavilion dm4-2070us

    Windows 7 Home Prem OA

I tried updating the driver (he says that the version that was linked to the exact identical on my hard drive) and I also tried the update of the BIOS with the same result. The mouse pad IS NOT off. If it's light is no longer on this subject as well and it is stuck in stop mode. The mouse pad does not appear in the Control Panel, no matter what I do.

I'm tired of all the problems that I've had so far on this laptop because I got it since mid-August. My friend told me that HP has been much better than Dell, so I went with it instead that little birdie told me. I was bragging to everyone how wonderful this computer was, but now I feel like I should go back and apologize to all my friends. Please say it is an easy fix and I forget something quite obvious. I wouldn't turn my back on HP for a computer laptop stupid.

Currently, I solved the problem. If anyone has a similar problem to mine, before sending it in, maybe you can try what I did. Last night I let my computer choke completely then took out the battery for a few seconds. After that, I plugged and let it load a bit (maybe 30 minutes?) before trying to start it and try again the mouse pad. It works fine now, the zoom in/out and Ahmed seem to even work a bit better now.

  • Aspire 5738z motherboard works outside the laptop breaks but not?

Hope this is the right part of these forums...

Someone at - he heard of this before. (STUPIDLY), I decided that my fan needed a good, clean, and in a moment of madness I removed the heatsink and cleaned, I have had no paste to renew with at the time but thought it would be ok.

Acer Aspire 5738Z dedicated ATI Graphics Intel Core 2 Duo

I missed the fan plug when I re assembled the laptop and of course, it wouldn't start. So after back by getting the cleaners and stick and PLUG the fan, I tried to start again... Nothing to do apart from the fan works and stops, then comes back on - the power light lights up - the processor lights up for a second - and the cd tried to run.

I did all the usual like removing the Ram etc Hold button power and did so on... still no joy

So I stripped the motherboard into the case and everything took off, I have replaced the following only

    HARD DRIVE

    1 x 2 GB Ram

    Monitor

    Battery

And success, that it starts without a problem

I tried then restarts and they were very good, so I put everything together and nothing only happened?...

So I stripped it again and this time I plugged everything

    HARD DRIVE

    2 x 2 GB Ram

    CD/DVD

    Monitor

    Battery

    WiFi

    USB mouse

    USB keyboard

Began and once again without any problem she started and restarted a time without end. So I removed all and placed in the base of the case and then reconnected everything and got the same good boot. I then placed the upper part of the base on so he was running and it was fine, then I rebuilt around the laptop running until the unit was together again... Always slept running. Although my mousepad not working keyboard

OK, the moment of truth... Restart... or rather not - back to the beginning with no boot

Does anyone have any idea as to the cause - I wonder if the keyboard or mouse may be at fault, but as far as I know, it could be more sinister.

Any help would be fantastic - but please no suggestions to remove the ram and pressing the power button down as my finger no headache trying this lol

It seems to me the connection of the USB unit on the side of right which is at fault. I have rebuilt the laptop but removed the USB cable and it works fine... Looks so much like problem solved for the moment in any case

  • Mouse pad does not work

A few months ago my mousepad stopped working for no. (obviously there must be one) reason. I noticed it after that I started to share music with other computers on our network. At first, I thought that the red light was something to do with it, then I discovered that the little symbol underneath was a mouse pad.

My laptop no button on it that turn the pad on and apart, and properties of the Synaptics said that it works well and is connected to the right channel.

    Hello

Check with support of their documentaton online and drivers, system manufacturer and ask in their forum
(if there is one) that several will have keyboard shortcuts that will turn the Touchpad on or off.

Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
and some come with a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

    ==========================================

If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
    on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    I hope this helps.

  • Mousepad on HP Pavilion does not work

For some reason my mouse pad no longer works.  It works with an external logitech mouse.  He used to work if I had plugged external mouse or not.  This is no longer.  The cursor does not appear, and if it is there, I can't control it.  When the computer reboots, the cursor is displayed only if I plug the logitech mouse.  Can you help restore this mousepad please!

I have Windows 8.1 if it matters.

    Thank you

Buy an inexpensive wired USB mouse for less than $5 and see if it works.  As far as I'm concerned wireless mice are more trouble than they are worth.  YMMV :-)

    Good luck.
