Move photos from camera to computer

Hi all

New owner here, coming from an HTC Rezound Maxx. Really love it, especially the battery, but have stumbled upon something I'm struggling with. How to move pictures taken in the camera to the computer?

I use the wireless sync, but I need to find the file in that the photos are stored. I searched on the phone open all folders that I could find. No luck. Any suggestions will be much appreciated and I thank you in advance for your help.

On this subject an interesting update to the Maxx have a download for Zap to the computer and when you zap your pictures, you might receive them on a computer, but also of other mobile devices. Just a thought.

Kind regards

Larry

I use my camera is very rare, so I never know what to expect when I connect it to my computer. The pictures always go somewhere, but I usually only find them by chance or by using various research methods. In any case, today, the surprise was particularly large. I was told that the transfer could not take place because iPhoto was not found, and when I looked for iPhoto, I couldn't find it. It seems that iPhoto has been replaced by pictures, but I'm not 100% sure of that. In any case, my problem now is to download the pictures I just took. How can I go about it?

Yes, iPhoto has been replaced by pictures. Here's how to convert:

OS X El Capitan: move on to the Photos in iPhoto

Then import them into the pictures:

  • Lightroom on a new computer - how to move photos from the LR I have on another computer

I have Lightroom 5 installed on my laptop but now a new desktop computer. I plan to do the creative cloud because I would have access to Photoshop, but wonder if there is a way to transfer my photos from my old computer LR in the new.  Or if I have to buy LR still to have it on my new computer, first place.  Advice please? Thank you!

Licensed Lightroom, whether it's a stand-alone license, or a creative cloud license allows you to install Lightroom on two different computers for your personal use. You can install Lightroom on the new computer, and then follow the instructions on how to move or copy the files to your current computer.

Each installation of Lightroom should have its own local catalog on a local drive on this computer. Some people use dropbox for the catalog so that it can be used on both computers. There are a lot of considerations when you try to work with different computers. But it can be done.

  • Impossible to move photos from the iMac to iPhone6

I understand that the normal way to move photos from an iMac to an iPhone is to do it via iTunes. The problem I encounter is that there isn't a registration under devices in my iPhone Photos in iTunes 6. I use 12.4.2.4 and iPhone iTunes 6, worm 9.3.2 and iPhoto 9.6.1. I was able to sync in the past, but do not have access to the Photos on the iPhone in iTunes, I'm stuck.

With iTunes Sync Photo, you can copy the albums selected to your library of Photos of the iPhone or the iPad.

  • How can I move photos from a Photo library on my Mac to a library of photos in an external drive?

I have 10 GB of photos in a photo library on my Mac Air, which is running out of storage space. I would like to move the photos to another library of Photos in an external drive which already hosts most of my photo archives. How can I execute the move?

    Thank you!

    Marco.

Copy the library from the internal drive to the external drive. You can then open the library on the external hard drive by double clicking it and check, if the copy does not work.

Photos has no tools to merge libraries. You can use both libraries alternating, or export the photos of a library and import them into the other library.

Or use the application PowerPhotos to merge the two libraries move photos from one library to another.

You will need the full version and paid f PowerPhotos to do.

  • Whenever I have move photos from one folder to another file, the picture is no longer accessible.

I use Windows XP - perfectly up-to-date.  Whenever I have move photos from one folder to another file, the picture is no longer available and cannot be removed with using unlocker.  This has happened for several years.  I copy pictures and new folders whenever I want to move them, but sometimes I forget and move them and then I lose the picture I'm trying.  I also noticed that there is a strange file that opens in the trash that won't let me remove it without using unlocker. These files start with "Dd" followed be a number.  When I delete these use unlocker, another will appear the a different number on this subject.  It is a very maddening problem.  It is not possible for me to do a system restore because it lasts for quite awhile.  Please help - I'm tired of losing pictures that I can't replace.  Thank you for your help.

    Hi JB_11321,

    Thanks for the reply.

Have you tried methods 1 and 3 mentioned in my previous post?

    3. Click on user accounts
    4. Give your XP logon password
    5. Restart your XP machine
    6. Try Easy Transfer and him give the password that you set in step 4
