Move the profile to OneDrive in support of Thunderbird on multiple devices.

I currently POP my mail on the PC A server. I also want to use PC B and C, as well as an Android phone to access my mail. My entire profile is too big for OneDrive download (10 GB limit). Also, some issues really didn't need be downloaded on OneDrive because) they never change (for example, old archives), or b) I don't have them on all devices (for example, Junk/Trash). Ideally, I only keep a value one year of e-mail on the shareable installation (e.g. OneDrive) data and difficulty (or ignore) the rest. Any suggestions?

Well, I can cite the free big four who all do as says Zemos.

Google, Yahoo, Hotmail and GMX.

All will allow you to set up the collection of email from your existing email account. Some will also allow you to use their servers to answer using this account. However, it is not difficult to set account to Thunderbird settings to record e-mails sent by an SMTP server to the e-mail sent on another account folder.

So, when you send the mail to say [email protected] Thunderbird can save the mail in the sent folder of [email protected] and so synchronizes mail sent.

  • Can W7 \64 bit\FF42.0\How I move the profiles?

Everything seems to work perfectly. But I realized that I should be able to find how to move my profile to another drive on my computer somewhere in the profile itself. I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find this info. If you can tell me where it is, maybe I can manage. But if not, can you tell me how to move the profiles? My os is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I am running Firefox 42.0. Your guesses are all correct, except that I'm not sure about the plugin from Adobe. Thanks for any help.

You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile on a different hard drive folder by clicking on the button "choose a folder.
Be sure to select a new empty file and not a folder that already contains files.

You can transfer files from the current profile folder to this folder.

  • I want to move the profile data and the addons on another disk

I want to move the profile data and the addons on another disk.

Can I specify where Firefox puts the profile and the addons?

If another location, then Windows uses by default.
    c:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

    WinXP, FF 3.6.8

You can do this by using the Profile Manager. When you create a new profile, you can specify a location for the profile folder.

You may create a new profile, and then transfer the data to it. For more information, see create a new profile for Firefox on Windows and transferring data to a new profile.

  • How can I move the profile to Win 8.1 where Appdata is hidden?

New computer and new to win 8. I found the profile on old Win 7 and copied. I can not stick to the new computer because I do not see Appdata. How can I make the folders visible, so I bring my profile on my new computer? It would be too long to type in addresses and I would lose a lot of registered mail.

  • How to move the profile folder

    Hi all

I have four folders of data created and I want to spend the last folder first and exchange the third and second.

Is there a way I can do it. I am 9.2 planning on...

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

As far as I know I don't think you can rearrange folders.

You can always export all forms using the formdefuti , rename or re-create the files, and then import back in forms.

    See you soon

  • How to move the address book addresses online comcast for thunderbird?

I don't see anything on how to import the addresses in my address book from comcast web mail in Thunderbird. I really don't want to have to retype all of them.

Comcast address book has the ability to export to a CSV file. Doing this and save it to a place where you can find it.
Then, go to the window of Thunderbird AddressBook and Tools-Import allows to get into Thunderbird.

  • manually move the account to new computer

I get an error after you move the profile folder content in a new machine. The error reads as follows:
"Could not initialize component of application security. The most likely cause is problems with the files in the directory of the profile of your application. "Please check that this directory has no restriction of read/write and... etc.
No idea why this is happening and how to fix? The application works on the old computer. I followed the manual migration guide and copied the contents of the file numbers in the profile folder for help to replace the existing files.

    Thank you

You can be screwed to the top of your file system permissions when copying to the folder from the old computer.

    Hello Jshen6,

You can have different examples of VI if you do not use the same version of LabVIEW. I am currently operating on LabVIEW 2013 SP1. Whatever it is, this article should be useful to you that he describes in detail how to synchronize multiple tasks of series M.

  • Profile of files and records are too big - how to move the contents of other files/folders?

I have a large Inbox and have moved all content in Thunderbird to a new folder I created under local folders. When I go on my windows file system and look in the profile folder, I found that the file/folder Inbox is always MASSIVE, even if I moved ALL the content in a completely new folder inside Thunderbird.

Why is this? And how can I move all of my old emails to another folder inside Thunderbird as the original Watch windows file Explorer Inbox folder folder/now are low, with the new file/folder wholesale?

    Any help or advice appreciated...

    Rgds, Dave.

Right-click on the Inbox in Thunderbird in the folders pane, and then select Compact... Messages are not physically deleted from the folder until you do this.

  • Cannot move old profile to the new facility

I need to move my FF profile for a new installation of FF on a new PC, but I can't get the profile to "stick".

I tried to copy the files from the old profile into the new folder by default and the default editing the .ini to the game file, but it does not work. I tried to delete the new default profile and insert the old, but the default profile folder recreates itself. Where FF stores the new default profile number and how can I change it?

I know that it is possible to move an existing to a new installation of FF profile, as I've done it before, but I can't make it work this time. What I am doing wrong?

  • Moves the directory 'users' supported by MS for Windows 7?

I read in the older messages that move the 'Users' of Windows 7 directory is not a Microsoft supported configuration.  I'm eager to deploy several machines with a two-disc configuration, but before I do I want to be sure it is supported by MS and won't be a problem down the line.  I have seen that it is not supported for Vista production, but nothing to really up-to-date coverage of Win 7

This is not recommended, but what you could do is to change the location of your personal folders, see the following for instructions:
