Moves the directory 'users' supported by MS for Windows 7?

I read in the older messages that move the 'Users' of Windows 7 directory is not a Microsoft supported configuration.  I'm eager to deploy several machines with a two-disc configuration, but before I do I want to be sure it is supported by MS and won't be a problem down the line.  I have seen that it is not supported for Vista production, but nothing to really up-to-date coverage of Win 7
