  I tested with a SD card that usually work on other devices, so I guess that the card is not defective. It's a card SD transcend 1 GB 45 x. And I know that the card is seen by the DV, because it creates folders on it for recording photo or video.

  Has anyone an idea to help me sort this out?

  before you start an update of the firmware, it is very important the battery completely full.

  After the battery is fully charged please do the fw update again.

  Follow these steps to map the card reader

  1. Insert the memory card into the printer
  2. open my computer
  3. click on network drive mapping
  4 Select the letter of the drive you want and enter the folder \\192.168.1.101\memory_card

  Note: replace the 192.168.1.101 with the IP address assigned to your printer.
  5. click on finish, and the Player opens for access to the files

  I have a P20-552 (PSP26E-025E9-S4), which is about 18 months old. I recently bought a digital camera (IxUS 750) barrel with a 2 GB Sandisk Ultra II SD card and the combination does not work well.   When you reference the Flash card, I assume you mean the utility toshiba Flash Cards. in this case, I would say that you reinstall (i.e., uninstall and then reinstall) relevant Toshiba Value added Package for your laptop model. to locate the relevant Toshiba VAP, visit your regional toshiba driver.
