  I don't know what that means. In any case reset the default cropping tool. To do this, on the options of the crop on the right tool bar look for a box with lines inside. Click and reset. Who can fix it.

  I am running Movie Maker version 6 and Windows Vista Home Premium. I imported my videos my camcorder Flip Ultra HD from Sony MP4. The clips will play in preview pane and I can edit in the timeline or storyboard table. However, after about 5 minutes of use Moviemaker stops working for no apparent reason. (Moviemaker stopped job searching a solution), is never resolved. It also stops working if I try to see my edited video. I downloaded Moviemaker Live, but it has the same problem. Contact for the moreinformation application support team. "It's really fustrating because I can't edit my videos.

• Text tool stopped working.

  My tool suddenly stopped working.

  If I try to put some text, it seems to work in what I see a bounding box and all that.

  But I do not see the type itself.

  And nuance in the control panel Gets a "?" to place a color.

  I reinstalled Photoshop CS4 and it still occurs.

  The only cases I can think it could possibly is 1. I had a recent update to Acrobat and 2.  (and that's when it happened) I copied the text from Illustrator and tried to paste it in Photoshop. Don't know if one of these two is weird but I thought I would mention it.

  I'm on a Mac Pro 2008 with 8 cores, 16gig or ram running the latest updates for Leopard.

  Can anyone help? Not being is not able to use the type in Photoshop is a disaster.

  I don't know what I did to break.  One day it worked fine and then I created some custom settings (for setting tool), and then it stops working properly.

  That's what I see:

  When I click on the Brush tool, then click on the image, nothing happens.

  When I click about to see where I painted, rather than get the bright red in these areas, it shows just a light opaque red.

  It's the only thing that is not working properly, and I'm in a lot of trouble because I use to work.

  Can someone please help?

  When you choose the tool, don't you see these settings? See how the "flow" is set to 100?

• quick selection tool stop working

  Suddenly the Quick Selection tool leaves working in photoshop cs6. Other tools of work. I rebooted and set the preferences of all the original settings.

  Hey Joe,

  Suggest you to reset the Quick Selection tool and restart Photoshop and try it again.

  To reset the tool:

  1. Select Selection fast Tool.tool

  2. right click / Control click on the drop-down list at the top and choose Reset tool

  3. Restart Photoshop

• Photoshop CS6 recently why Marquee and Lasso tools stop working correctly?

  I purchased Production Premium CS6 several years.  Recently, my marquee selection tool and lasso will not bring a selection once.  In order to reuse them, I have to restart Photoshop, but can only use the tools once. I can't use the shortcut (Ctrl Alt Shift) when opening Photoshop to reset the default preferences because Photoshop does not open when Ctrl Alt Shift are pressed and held.  I tried the manual technique to reset the preferences by removing the preferences of psp file.  But the end result is the same - the tools work only once.  It's happening now with the type tool as well.  I tried to see if my graphics card is causing the problem, but it's not.  In fact, the selection tools work not at all when I 'use the graphics processor' unchecked.  I have the latest update for Photoshop: 13.0.1 x 64 what do I do now?

  Well, the problem has been resolved.  I recently installed the software synergy to share my keyboard and mouse between two computers.  As soon as I stopped synergy, the selection tools in Photoshop worked properly.  Synergy also caused selection problems in Microsoft Word.  Thanks to all those who responded so quickly to my question.

  Help!   As a photographer, I use Photoshop Actions the two purchases and created myself.   All of a sudden, the layer option ceased to work, if I create a new tool in layers, or run

  an Action, it will not work.   My software is all day, and my computer has been restarted.   I also deleted the Actions and the reinstalled from the original file.  Still nothing.

• Liquefy tool stopped working properly need help ASAP!

  OK, so last night, I used the Liquify tool on a selected area of the image and it worked fine. Well, now when I select my domain and try to use it, it just distorts the space and does nothing else. The options and display of fluidity never developed. I think it's just repeating what I did to liquefy the last time that I used it instead of giving me the opportunity to do what I have to do. It just won't let me do SOMETHING with the tool other than warping (what I think is the "repetition" of the previous use effects) everything else in photoshop works very well for me, that's the only problem I have. Prior to this, it would break just when I tried to open to liquefy, but I fixed that by changing the video codecs/plugins to those who work with him so that he is no longer a problem, it doesn't freeze or anything like that.   Are you clicking on the fluidity of everything at the top of the menu filter where the last used filter has a Cmd / Ctrl + F shortcut, or in its usual position below the menu? If the former then hold down the Opt/Alt key when you click the top element (or pressing Cmd / Ctrl + F) to open the dialog filter instead of just re - apply the last used filter.

  

• text tool stops working after several type of layers, any idea why?

  Using CS5 update on Win 7 64 bit machine

  I often use an image unique background (a map) and then add multiple layers of arrow shapes and text to serve as a section for presentations of travel titles.

  Once I did two or three layers of different type, the tool just closes.

  It will not create a new layer and if I make a new layer, and then click the text tool, the bar appears but it is very small and no type will appear when I enter the text.

  I have to go back to zero, start an entirely new document or restart PS to get the tool text to start working again.

  Any ideas what is happening?

  If I reset the size of 72 to 1072 is visible

  If the size is gone for this document.

  Check the resolution of the document - it is probably something weird.

• Help! My tools stopped working

  I'm on a MacBook of 2010 and joyously generates pages when suddenly selection tools became the symbol of the hand tool, now, nothing works.  What in the world would cause this? I trashed preferences, but that did not help.  Can someone please help?

  I don't want to offend you, but I would check and make sure you really trashed the prefs properly. It's a little more complex for ID than some other Adobe applications if you do it manually.

• Why has Ruler Auto Crop tool stopped working

  I have been demo'ing CS5 last night (for a Photographic Society) and to my dismay, when straighten an image using the rule, the Auto Crop feature did not work.  It has worked perfectly before that  Today (at home), I find that I am in the same situation ~ automatic harvest does not work.  I have somehow turned this function?  I looked and can not find any 'options' at the start-up or stop automatic cropping function.

  I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer to restore the Auto Crop feature ~ if possible.

  Don't know not, but you can try the cure to ole while deleting the prefs when I read this: average keyboard is the fastest.
