  • Should I wear my Playbook applications to BB10?

    As the title.

My apps is able to automatically resize with density and different screen size.

My application is an a porting android on the Playbook.

Can I use this app BB10?
If so, what I need from my android/playbook application to port BB10?

Android applications on the BlackBerry PlayBook would be also supported in BlackBerry 10.  The main differences that you need to consider is the different screen size.  But you mention that your application handles itself.

Download the Simulator BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha and give it a try.

  • Move the Mobile Applications folder

Running iTunes 12 on El Captain on my iMac with a 256 GB SSD and 2 TB HD.  The SSD (my drive home) fills, and I move as much as I can on the HD (data files, that is, no apps) or core files.  I moved my iTunes music library, but I'm struggling to see how I can move the Mobile Applications folder (now up to 10 GB) on.  The question was asked before and answer, although in 2009/10.  The option to hold the SHIFT key when you start iTunes is no longer seems to result in a request for the .itl file.  After you have moved the whole iTunes folder, everything that happened was that a new was created instead of the old - my music was OK but my iOS apps were not found.

I have no problem if iTunes must keep records of library on the drive home, even if I spend all the rest (media, apps and work) if possible (and relatively simple).  Any ideas?

You can move all of these applications in a folder, don't talk about mobile applications for guard duty. Even if you redid your iMac, you can create a folder with the Media Kit located in the iTunes folder once you launch iTunes for the first time. You will need to use the function 'add to library' to get the iTunes to recognize these apps. I've never tried "add to library" with the folder of mobile applications that is not located in the Media folder in the iTunes folder. But you can try as a test.

  • BlackBerry 10 functions and features OS 10.3.2.2876 BUG... android applications do not uninstall

Since the OTA update to the latest OS that pushed today, I am unable to uninstall Android applications. If you delete the app/uninstall since is the home screen or via monitor/storage device, and then confirm by Commander android app or ghost runtime settings, the app is still there.

Many users on crackberry have the same problem on all BB10 devices since the update of the OS was pushed.

Someone at - there a solution or is this a bug in the kernel of the operating system, as all the world reported on crackberry.

Here is a link to one of the threads with multiple users having the same problem.

A workaround is to install the runtime Android 10.3.2.2813 and Knowyou.  Once the files are installed, you can delete apps normally.

  • Customize the action of an Android application bar

    Hi all

When you run an application on BB10 Android, the operating system creates an action bar, which is located at the bottom of the screen. The bar contains the "info" button, back button, show/hide the button and the button that triggers the menu in the Android app.

I still want to show the bar and delete the info and show/hide the buttons of it. It seems that there is no way to customize the bar to BB 10.1. Does anyone know if BB 10.2 provide APIs to customize the action of the Android app bar?

    Thank you

    Max

There is no way to customize it.

However at the point 10.2 the show info / pin buttons are gone, there is only a menu button and back.

(Of course, the bar is always shown, and it is possible that we will finally have an option allowing developers to disable the bar for their full application)

  • BB10 newspapers like Logcat on android - Android app on BB10

I converted an android app to BB10.
On android, I used to get the logs of enforcement by logcat.

How can I get these logs on BB10? Is it possible to do this?

    Hello

You can use logcat to the BB10 Android Runtime as well.

If I have deployed and launch my eclipse application, adb will automatically connect, and logcat appears.

You can connect manually by adb connect DEVICE_IP:5555, then you can use adb logcat as usual.

    Kind regards

  • A mixed Java/native Android application for BB 10 porting

I have an Android application, written mainly in JAVA (interface user and logic) and a calculation module written in C/C++ using NEON.

I don't see the following options for the application to BB 10 of port:

1 convert the application as uses port BB tools - this means that the application does not have the appearance of BB applications.

2 rewrite the code in C++ Java: it's a lot of work.

What do you think about these options?

Is there another option (better), may be part of the Java code reuse?

    Thank you

    URY.

    Welcome on the support forums.

personally, I like to use native applications, because they have the best UX and are faster.
If you want to repackage the app that c++ lib won't work, so maybe that influences your decision.

  • How to make Acrobat Reade by default Android application for PDF files?

16.3 currently using. For some reason, it is not a default application to open PDF (for example from the downloaded folder) files. My Tablet says that it cannot open a file (I have no other installed pdf viewer, even google one is deleted). I don't see any option to make Adobe Reader by default.

    Hi wrooot

I think that to do this, you must change the default application settings in your Android phone.

For this, you can try and see if the measures help:

Go to settings > applications > all and then select the currently associated application and remove it as default and press default clear.

Doing so now when you open your file, you will be asked to choose a default App again.

Let me know if it works or you need help.

    Kind regards

  • My android application works when you use a version pre cli - 5.1.1 but is no longer works when you use cli - 5.1.1 or later. Buttons do not work with newer versions.

I created an android application earlier and used the 3.5.0 version and everything worked very well. The Android app store then said that I had to switch to an android cordova 4.1.1 version or more so I updated my version of phonegap to the latest version and my application has stopped working. The buttons on the app stopped working. I have to do something specific to make it work?

Quick guess is your application probably uses an external library and new access restrictions are block it. Find out more about changes to the white list and see if that might cause.

When you inspected via Chome dev tools, he never revealed anything?
