Movie Maker - freezing and jump

I am trying to create a video birthday photos in Movie Maker.  I'm not using any video, just files .jpeg and .wav for background music file.

The purpose is about 16 minutes in length.  At different locations in the movie (different each time), breaks the presentation, and then jump.  I usually miss about 2 seconds.  I tried the publication to see if there is no change, but the pause/freeze/skip is on the DVD as well.

How can I fix?

Thanks for your help!

Just some thoughts...

I wonder if there will be an improvement if you created the video
slide show without the .wav file?

There may be a corrupt JPEG in the Group of photos... it may be useful
Trying to convert JPEG files to BMP format before importing it.

If you add a lot of transitions and effects that could be a problem.

Also try to go on... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab and disable all the
filters / OK.

FWIW... free PhotoStory 3 can be a better application to create video slides
shows with music.

  • What kind of cd/dvd is the best for my video Windows Movie Maker filled and how can I burn it?

OK... I've published my Movie Maker presentation.  It will be presented via a laptop computer and projected.  First of all, what kind of cd/dvd I need?  I know that this information is listed under the HELP section of the Movie Maker program, but what do you propose to help?  AND THEN... How can I do to burn video on cd?  I got to the question re: given dvd vs dvd-video and was confused (sorry... it doesn't take much!).  In my mind, it's a video, but the explanation stated that in this format must then be read via a dvd player.  Finally it can be read that way and it would be nice to have this option, but my goal is now to have played through a computer laptop and projected.  I tried to save it as a video dvd last night, but after almost two hours of "transformation" (my video completed is approximately 3-1/2 minutes), I eventually escape and stop.  Can you guide me through this in simple terms?  Thank you!

    Windows Movie Maker gel

I recorded images with a dazzle capture card.

I converted these images of vob to wmv.

I edited this movie using windows movie maker. The preview of the table of Storyboard works perfectly.

    After having been published,

The second does the same thing.

    The third is perfect.

The fourth has no audio or video.

    What is the problem here?

I recorded the images of my xbox to my dazzle card capture to dvd writer.

Each element has been converted at the same time this format .vob with http://convertvobtoavi.com/ (download)

It seems that changing the file extension to instead of converting has solved the problem.

Then, everything went in form, whenever igo back in it freezes, Ctrl + Alt + Delete to escape through the PEAR Task Manager. End of.

  • In Windows Movie Maker - titles and quotes move after placing the transitions

I use WMM and Vista.  On the Board of directors or the history time line, I placed my photos, adding titles and credits and then transitions.  All the titles and credits moved after placing the transitions.  I made the corrections and then saw the film and decided to remove or add photos.  Titles and credits moved again!  How can I get the titles and quotes from stay with the photo appropriate when editing... remove or add photos?

There is no way to bind the titles and credits for a specific item. Just
go to the overlay of the title and track drag left or right as securities
    necessary.

FWIW... When you add transitions... it causes the clips overlap
each other... that's why it changes the time.

I used photographs, in which I edit in photoshop and add text that is to edit each image, which seems to affect playback and recording. I'm doing a subliminal video with a soundtrack.
