moving the printer
I installed my 8630 at home and everything works fine. I will be to move the printer to my store soon and wonder if address eprint moves with it. It will be on another network. Is that what I should do or change after the move?
I ' don't know how hpeprint will find my printer after the network change and may not have much downtime.
Thank you
Paul
Hi Paul,.
When you move your printer and it talk about the GET to another wifi network, the designated printers email will remain the same, even if the location has changed - you will always be bale to use your e-mail address current [email protected] printer to the printer mail content.
Simply turn the printer off, move it to its new location, start it and plug it into the new wifi and it will be reachable with its current e-mail on the new network.

HP Premium C410A cannot load the printer drivers eith disc or download

Office Jet 6100: Remove the printer tray
How did the paper tray removed for transport?
Hey @Merlot856,
Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here.
I understand that you are looking to remove the tray paper from your printer Officejet 6100. The tray is not removable on this printer. I suggest a larger box or be extremely careful when moving the printer so that the tray is not broken.
I hope this helps and I hope you have a great week!

HP WEB SITE WROTE:
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02558798
What country you were originally? The world was divided into four regions of regionalization of the cartridge as described in this page. If you are currently in Poland and moving to the United Kingdom, that the cartridges will be the same, they are both in zone 2. In this case, the cartridges in the new country are the same as your existing cartridges.
If you move to a country in a different area, then you can buy cartridges in the new area. You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge, even if the printer itself is no longer under warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.

I live in the Mexico and when I moved here States, when I connected to the internet from my landlord, I think my printer just accepted my new locale and did fine. I just moved a few miles more, have shared with the condo internet new, but the printer does not print. I searched and searched for an answer, but nothing helped. CAVEAT... I only am not at all computer savvy.
Thanks for any help, LindaHi Linda,.
To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:
1. you receive an error message or error code?
2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?
Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:
Method 1: I suggest to run the printer Troubleshooter and check if the problem persists.
Open the printer Troubleshooter
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter
You can also see the following article for more information:
Printer in Windows problems
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/printer-problems-in-Windows
Method 2: You can try running the following commands and check if the problem occurs and also to see if the printer comes back online after
a. click the Start button, and type cmd in the box start search
b. right click on cmd in the list programs and select run as administrator
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue
c. at the command prompt, type the following commands and press ENTER after each one
net stop spooler
and then
net start spooler
This will stop and restart the print spooler service. If this solves the problem of the printer is offline, please let us know.

After moving, it does not connect OfficeJet (Wes: impression of the printer)
I have a j6450 HPOfficejet All in One Printer.
We bought a new laptop - HP Pavilion g6.I have been using the printer and works great.I changed where my printer sat, all reconnected.A test page was performed, but the printer shows that it is not connected to a computer.??? Don't know what to do, I rechecked everything, but nothing works. I'm 100% sure it is connected exactly as beforeI just unplugged and reconnected it when I moved it.Any suggestions? Thank you,Marie MathisIf the printer is connected via a USB cable, it is possible that you might not have re-connected cable back to the same UPS port on the laptop.
You may need to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers. Be sure to unplug the USB cable before uninstalling the printer driver. Only re - connect the USB cable when the driver to "Reinstall" the application process.

I bought my printer initially to the United States and have recently moved to the Japan. The cartridges of printers sold in the United States are not available here, but I found the exact equivalent. Unfortunately, the printer is rejecting them by saying they are incompatible. Is it possible to get the printer accepts the cartridge HP 140 and 141 HP instead HP 74 and 75 HP, which were the ones I used in the United States? Thank you for your help.
You will need to Contact HP and request a Reset of regionalization. You will need to have access to your printer and the computer while communicating with HP and will need a set of cartridges region Japan. As far as I know, should not be a charge for this, but you may have to ask to speak to a Manager as only a limited number of agents was formed in the regionalization reset procedure.

We moved the airport and the modem, and now 7660 printer does not print wireless more
We have a new Airport Extreme, connected with a cable modem and a HP Photosmart 7660 printer connected to the airport with a USB cable. Everything worked fine, then we move the cable and modem - now, we can print via the USB cable, the laptop can get online, and the printer appears in the printer list in system preferences. But we cannot print wireless. We are under Snow Leopard on a Mac laptop. We have tried to disconnect and reconnect the cables varied in different combinations.
When you try to print we get the following message if poster in the box print that 'cannot send 8192 bytes of print data! (USB write error) "
Now what?
Thanks for any help!
Message edited by imcarmel on 07/10/2009 08:26It's me again, we changed the USB cables and now it works. Yay.
Thanks for your help.

Stuck "waiting for the printer to be available."
After initially looking at it's going to print, the printer dialog box displays "waiting for printer to be available" and it's there (even if the printer - inkjet HP series C3800 - is ready).
Here is what I tried:
Using the HP utility software on the same computer, I am able to successfully print a test page, which rules out a problem with the printer and its connection to the computer.
Printing worked normally before moving on to the Sierra. I tried resetting the printing system and add new printer (Sierra recognizes very well). I also tried to run in case disk utility have a permissions problem.
I'm stumped at this point. Help much appreciated.
Same story, but with a HP Laserjet P3005dn, specific scenario, the exact symptoms, exact attempts to improve...

I use an iMac 2011 under Snow Leopard, but it can no longer print documents via my hp laserjet 2300dtn printer. Reason: whenever I try, a message appears through the PRINT icon in the Dock, read: "ERROR: has not received a Fax number. There is no fax option in the Print & Fax window in the System Prefs so I have no idea about the origin of the error message, but suspect there is corruption in the printing preferences. So I went username/library/Preferences/com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs plist... and a file is moved to the trash. Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved. I am far away computer and would love advice for this situation.
Try to reset the printing system.

I have yet to adapt a picture with AIO HP application form document before sending it to the printer.
Harvest funtion works on the next screen, but I don't get a reduced version of the original photo when moving the adjustment screen to another, despite the reorganization of the Blues and lines points (that capture the doc OK outline)
I have one using IoS iPhone6 9.3.5
Any ideas please?
Hello
Try to use the fit to the screen options in conjunction with cropping - because of differences in proportions between your phone photo and paper size, it will be very difficult to get in, but with the help of cultures and adjust to page, you should achieve something close to what you are after.

me not saying the printer ink levels
How can I get the computer to let me know the printer ink levels?
Technical issues do not belong in the forum comments so I moved your post to the windows 'Hardware and drivers' forum. Always include your version of Windows when you post.
Monitoring ink levels is a function of the printer driver. Contact the manufacturer of the printer for a solution.

OfficeJet Pro 8610: Keep the printer?
New to the Forum. I have an Officejet Pro 8610. My old printer (4620) would turn off and unplug the printer after each use. Sometimes, I go 2 weeks without use of the machine. I was told to leave the printer on all the time. What is the best option for someone who is not a big user of the printer? Thank you.
Hi @Bronco1,
It's really best to let the printer on as he said himself. I have an officejet 6600 that I use maybe once every month or two, I leave it on and it goes into sleep/power mode mode; your printer you will do the same. The advantage to leave, as mentioned, is that the printer will systematically be past in maintenance mode and keep the ink moving regularly. This maintenance helps prevent inks from drying up.
Keep the print head of your printer is a bit like the oil in your car. If you do not regularly, not only it won't work best, but ultimately it may not work at all. And the cost of maintenance is negligible compared to the cost of the repair if you do not have the maintenance - in the case of your printer, it uses a small amount of ink flowing through the print head and keep it clear. -J' found this text of presentation with additional information in the following link: should you turn your printer Off when you don't use it?
Ultimately there is no "right" answer, but I think it is really preferable to leave the printer on.
I hope this solves your request.
