MSCRM 4.0 - delay in the CRM email

We had the MSCRM 4.0 installed on a server with the crm email router with the update rollup 6. The output profile is configured that for CRM, we are facing a delay in mails (e-mail activity has the status to send waiting for a long time and sometimes emails are blocked).
Please can you advise and check if the Sub part of the "Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EmailAgent.xml" is correct and does not has an effect on this deadline:

    You are right there. There is a catch 22, like we don't have a solution at this stage. This is recorded as a problem with the dev team well, so I hope that the dev team can find a solution for this.

  • Live event delay when the TCS/WinMediaServer multicasts

    We are implementing a new infra composed by a DMM + SnS + TCS. The goal is to use the CHT as a 'Live Encoder"which is doing well.

    Since the latest version of the SnS 5.2.3 there is now an integration of the CHT in the menus of the SnS (see attached doc).

    We have followed the configuration and it works but since it is a LiveEvent target to be seen by all THE EMPLOYEES of my client, MUST use multicast.

    He becomes more complex because it seems, with the multicast to be used for multicast announcement .nsc file...

    The problem is when configuring for multicasting, the point of publication which is created dynamically in the WinMediaService part, begins with 5 seconds delay, and we lose the first 5 seconds of images!

    Can you imagine a CEO who wanted to talk to all employees, to be not heard when saying "employees dear Good morning '?

    For my client, it is not acceptable, and since this feature on SnS/TCS is described at the point of being ALIVE, it must the departure of the first image sent.

    Someone would have faced the same issue, and is there a way to "force" the publishing point in the WinMediaService to be "open/started" immediately?

    With unicast in fact we had the same problem, but we have created a workaround solution by creating a fixed publishing point always started and referring to a folder where an initial video (actines as an introductory video, saying "The Live will start soon") was present in how to read the flow immediately when the real stream live from TCS was available.

  • If anyone can help with a report that retrieves the external ID field in the CRM

    I have an affiliate system where the customer imported 3600 + recordings, some of which were to the eternal ID ("field of your identification on the import file) together and some are not.

    The problem is that I have to update all of the CRM records and impossible to import the changes that I don't know what the original external id value. Catalyst support of business savvy that they can't include this field in a report (don't get started me on that...) and I'm now desperately need a way to get that data on the file and are essential for any news updates via the import of files. I would like to delete all files and start again except that there is no wholesale don't delete option in CRM BC - Yes you can do it in the products but not the CRM or Web Apps...! The only option available in British Colombia is to remove a list of screen at once, but then I have the problem that this issue is not all CRM records - only those whio belong to a secure area.

    My need is urgent, so any free help or otherwise would be approeciated and the solution must be one that allows me to run such export on an irregular basis.

    Colombia-British in his usual style of the help documentation, are quite clear in their explanation of the way in which the Unique Id (which is actually the ID ' external ' e CRM under the Misc section). Here is the description from the import of the model

    Now my understanding is that if you used the Id of your then being the unique identifier, and that these imports all future would have to use that... Well no, that is not the case at all.

    If you import a recordset using your Id, you can simply update these same records with just the email address - you don't need your Id or external at all!  So, what's the purpose of this field at all? I have no idea myself because he cannot be reported, may not be exported, it cannot be referenced - actually the only way you will see she is to open the CRM folder and view details of Misc and buried at the bottom you'll find. That's what I call a undocumented feature!

    So end of this is - my concerns that whatever proved unfounded and you don't have to worry about external / your field Id, no matter what the customer does.

    My advice - forget this field exists and do not care to use it unless you might happen to be interfacing in some 3rd party system through PAI, as seems to be the only use I can think of for it.

    I would like a way to do exactly that, except with the answers, but with the new email I'm compose/send. It seems quite natural.

    For example, I have several clients and a folder for each client. When I answer to my customers, the answers come in appropriate customer records. Perfect. But when I write a new message to a client, is it not logical to also put this message in the folder of the respective customer? Instead, will all my mail sent to my "sent" folder, and I have to remember to fish out them and drag them into the respective customer records. It is a nuisance.

    I hope that it is already a feature. If this is not the case, this consider a request feature.

  • Thunderbird is lock on a message and I have to delete the Bellsouth otherwise it will download the same email over and over. How can I fix it?

    It started a couple of weeks. I noticed an email several times being downloaded. After reviewing the many things, I deleted the email on Bellsouth and Thunderbird then downloaded all my emails. Over time, he started doing this several times in a batch of e-mails. The download bar will say it is loading down 1 (or whatever the number) to say 71 messages. It can download 1 or more, then it stops downloading. I go to Bellsouth and remove the last downloaded message and click Get Mail in Thunderbird to start the process again.

    If I don't delete the last email downloaded when I hit Get Mail Thunderbird will download the same email again and stop. A few times it will start a download and work for an extended period and then stop the download without having to download a single mail.

    Before I tried to pull up in protected mode I ran C Cleaner and SpyBot just to see if there was something I picked up somewhere. I've not seen anything unusual, but had two programs clean what they find. Since their execution I've seen Thunderbird download some e-mails twice, but it's the download now. Don't know what that programs cleaned up that seems to fix the problem. So, for the moment, it looks like I agree.
