MSOE. DLL cannot be initialized

Whenever I try to respond to a Craigslist Ad, I have 2 windows pop up. The first says Windows could not mail start..., the second said he could not be started because MSOE. DLL could not be initialized. I see that by hitting the link "reply to" on any ad from craigslist. How can I fix it?

  • Outlook Express 6 does not, error code: Ox800C013B, "MSOE. DLL cannot be initialized. »

Tried system restore. Tried to uninstall and reinstall IE.

    Hi wikroberts,

This behavior can occur if the attributes of a part or all the messages Outlook Express *.dbx files are read-only.

Method 1: Rename the Folders.dbx file.

    a. click Start, point to findand then click files or folders.

    b. in the named box, type folders.dbx.

    (c) in the area look in , click on your main hard drive (usually drive C), and then click find now.

    d. right-click on the Folders.dbx file and then click Rename.

    e. type folders.old, and then click OK.

    f. launch Outlook Express. This automatically creates a new Folders.dbx file.

  • How can I fix WinMail error code 0 x 80070002, MSOE.dll could not be initialized?

Suddenly, I was unable to access my aol e-mail account via winmail as I did for some time.  I get an error message that says: "Windows Mail could not be started.  initialize junk filtering.  Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. (0 x 80070002) ».  My only option is to click OK.  Can I get a second message which reads: ' Windows Mail could not be started because MSOE. " DLL cannot be initialized. "I ran virus scans, I tried to reinstall Windows Mail, I checked the Microsoft Knowledgebase and I restored my computer to a point before you have the problem.  I can access my AOL e-mail account via the Internet, but really have problems with the functionality, and I can't access any previous mail in my Inbox or one of my registered email.  Can someone tell me what's happened and how can I fix the problem?

    Hello

Method 1: You can reset the message storage location and which can allow you to run Windows Mail.

    Navigate to the following location:

    Mail C:\Users\{yourusername}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
Note: (The directory may be hidden, go to control panel |) Folder options | View and activate
display of files and folders hidden and also uncheck the hide option
    extensions of known file types).
Rename this directory from Windows Mail to Windows Mail old and then start
Windows Mail and it will introduce a new message store in a new directory of Windows Mail.
Note: If make you it work, then you can go to file | Import |
Messages and point to the old directory.

    Method 2:
You can try to remove the Windows Mail registry key and if
It doesn't work, then try to delete the identity key.
    (a) click Start, type run and press enter
    (b) in the execution type search regedit and press enter
    (c) go to the following location:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities
Note: Make sure WinMail is closed, right click on the key and
    Click on delete.
Important: this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. I created a Google Group, invited members, received their responses and published the list of members.  When I tried to send an e-mail to the group, I got a message that msoe.dll could not be initialized.  How to solve this?

Sorry, but the info was so 'goop gobbly' for me.  Y at - it somewhere that I can download the msoe.dll?

While you might be able to, two points...

    (1) not a safe idea.  Microsoft does not offer it more (they do not support OE6) and nowhere else - you take your chances.

    (2) most important - the file is not likely your problem.  Something else is probably causing this message.

You may need to remove (I suggest renaming it to RECORDS. OLD personally) RECORDS. DBX file.  If Folders.dbx is damaged, OE often stops displaying the files to the existing *.dbx files, and sometimes OE will simply refuse to start. Also a bloated Folders.dbx can OE run very slowly. These two problems can be repaired by closing OE and deleting Folders.dbx. Understand although you will lose the mail directory structure, all the discussion lists and all synchronization options and this message rules will probably have to be edited

There is another option where you could not lose the folder structure (will not be rebuilt) because you are going to import it from a BACKUP of everything what you do by renaming the whole store folder before you rebuild everything in OE - but I thought it would be more simple.

    C:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Application Data\Identities\{...} \Microsoft\Outlook express

(The usual location for the file.)

    Hi Lynncalaska,

Thanks for posting on Microsoft answers Community Forums.

This can happen if some files are corrupted on your computer. To help resolve this problem, use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file.

Access the link below and try to follow the steps, it could help us solve the problem.

Hey a few days back, I start to feel a strange warning to the start box, indicating on msirey32.dll cannot start because there are no windows. I checked the forums to know the reason or solution but no use. There is no clue on this module anywhere, I have windows 7 Home Basic 64 - bit version. Happy if you give me a solution. :)

Scan your PC with these two free utilities

And if nothing found then perform manual clean boot procedure (not the Fixit) then assuming that no warning msg closely examine entries in msconfig > Startup tab

    Hi Suresh,

In fact, the first client does not generate wrf files. Customer of the tile, client0, generates the wrf files. The first customer runs the harness and brings together the results of each client in the results file.

The program which ensures the pings is located on client0, and he struggles to leave because of the bad number of bit Java on client0. This program writes to standby0.wrf. Your VMS Eve is probably fine.
