  • Where can I find driver for MS Wireless MultiMedia Keyboard 1.1 model 1014

I am running XP Pro 64-bit, 8 GB of Ram.  I recently had to format my HD and everything... to reinstall all the software programs and hardware connected.  This includes the keyboard listed in the title of this message.  Everything works... MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2000... and all the keys on the keyboard, with the exception of the key 'Sleep' on the far right end.  I used the CD packed when I bought the keyboard and the mouse packaged together.

When I go into settings where it shows the list of ads of the keys, the sleep key is not in the list!

I uninstalled the keyboard using the Panel of configuration/Add / Remove programs.  Then, I ran CCleaner and restarted my computer.

I then download and installed the driver only POSSIBLE listed on the MS site, and I noticed that the list did NOT say 1.1 that the Sleep button still does NOT work.

I then uninstalled the newest driver and once again used the original CD, restarted my computer.  Nothing has changed.  All keys UNDER the intended MS sleep function key.

I checked the properties, hardware, driver, Control Panel, keyboard.  It shows 6.31.222.0 driver.

This keyboard operated perfectly from November 14, 2008 when I built this desktop computer and it should once again!

How can I correct/eliminate this problem?

    Hello

You have whatever it is again plugged into the PC?

You are still able to get in mode sleep without the use of this shortcut key?

You may need to reinstall the system drivers, like you, for example video card drivers.

In addition, in the data sheet of the product (in the link provided above), you will notice this line: shortened sleep functionality is available if your system supports power management and it helped, and that all devices are compatible with power management.

This is why I am asking if there is that anything that is plugged into the PC that might be turning off standby.

Also, since you said it was perfect in the past, have you tried a system restore to a point in time in which it was working fine?

  • Keyboard Lenovo Multimedia Remote shipped without USB dongle

    Just one complaint

I ordered a keyboard about 4 weeks ago. It took a while for lenova to ship,

I received it last week, when opening the box, I see a keyboard/battery and manual, the box is missing usb dongle.

Without the dongle, I can't use the keyboard, I tried to contact the sales team, they mentioned something about this return shipping and wait for a new shipment.

This seems quite complicated to get this working. I have no instructions on how to send it back and if it will cost money to RMA, it adds to my suffering

the wireless usb dongle is located in the battery compartment.

  • control remote for PC

I want to HP 700 - 500z PC with TV tuner, came with a TSGH-2401 remote control.

Where can I get the instructions for the user to control?  I'm not familiar with the device.

Do I have to install a TV signal antena?

The remote is an infrared device, so it sends a signal to an infrared sensor on the computer. Yes to use the TV feature that you have to attach an antenna or a coaxial cable from the provider of pay-per-view television tuner at the back of the computer. Within the Cyberlink Media Suite, you should have solutions TV from Cyberlink. Windows 8.1 is more a Media Center feature rich, but I think that you can add it with a download from Microsoft. Once you join a TV signal to the tuner card and open the program it will guide you in the use of the remote control.

  • Satellite A500 - remote control drivers for Windows 7

    Hello world

I bought the Satellite A500, very happy with it, but I change the operating system (vista) to the RC of windows 7, it works very well, the only thing is that I can't find the drivers for the remote that came with the laptop. It works quite simply, no answer at all... I have not found a driver for the A500 in any case, even for Vista...

All I know is that the remote works fine because I can use it on the media center to my Xbox 360! : p
But from the laptop, no answer at all... I looked for everywhere, tried to install the driver remotely for other model of Toshiba, even the beta one for 7, but still the same problem...

Your help is welcome, thank you for any response.

    Coch, France.

    Hello

    > I have not found a driver for the A500 in any case, even for Vista...
It seems that the A500 is brand new on the market and I think drivers (Vista) which will be released in the near future
You'll have to wait a little

I think the Vista driver compatible with Windows 7.
I installed Win 7 on my laptop and most vista drivers work.

  • 64-bit Windows 7 driver for Atheros AR5007 in dv7-1468nr

I have been in communication with Microsoft and HP technical support both on this issue.

Can we please have a time frame on how long before that we will have a driver for the wireless card that is in this model the actual 64-bit?

I don't want to sound rude here, but Acer has been much easier to get around the problem of driver for windows 7.

Microsoft did confirm this evening that there is no 64-bit for this AR5007 driver and back to HP.

Atheros seems to deal specifically with suppliers more with the support of its prodiucts, as it is my return to HP after six years of absence and the fact that my company is jumping through the hoops for the HP partnership, I would like an honest answer from an employee of HP.

How long before that this driver is available in 64 bits?

Until that time, all of the product is worthless for me as a professional and as a student for the simple reason that when you try to use a suppliant of security required for authentication, the network manager crash when using the measure of 802. 1 x. Microsoft has identified that specifically a driver related issue because there is no driver 64-bit available.

Not to play against each other here, but in my profession and in my studies, I tend to promote these products that seem to work better and where assistance is available. The Acer also contained an Atheros card, but it was changed to use a broadcom driver in Windows 7. No idea why or how, I know that it works and it supports the Cisco PEAP supplicant, which is an important issue with the dv7-1468nr and Windows 7 with the Atheros AR5007 wireless device.

Other related driver issues such as the multimedia remote that might be expected given that windows 7 has not officially released, but when I contacted support on the card reader does not not (another feature that works out of the box on an Acer hardware), I was told basically sorry charlie, good luck. Fortunately, I was able to locate an XP driver for the card reader works. The media remote is a trivial question, but the wireless is a serious problem. If it cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, I fear I will be boxing it up to return to where it was purchased, as defective. the deployment is in a few days...

lets hope that we can really appropriate at this time that drivers.

After three long sessions with Microsoft and a few sessions where I was not very tolerable with the "apology" given for drivers not made available via the website of HP, I was able to refine the exact question to something other than a real driver file.

If the question was not in fact the driver file, it does not change the fact that HP should provide drivers on their website that they will BE supported for all operating systems promoted regardless of the version (Home Basic, premium, professional, ultimate, etc..). It became a problem in my final conversation of a HP technician before they gave me a link to a driver file real 64 bit, of course claim immunity from liability for any damage as a result of the application. The link of this driver is here.

Now for the real root of the problem.

On the new installation, there are several devices that have remained unknown in Device Manager.

Day after day, a lesbianism HP drivers and applications to solve problems.

What was actually the connection magaer crash on trying to manually create a connection by using the Cisco's PEAP Protocol was a corrupt application of Cisco installation. Through the process of trying to repair the installation and actually manually change the registry and remove all traces of the application with Microsoft in the remote session, it was determined that the system had become corrupt and need a fresh 'custom' install.

After installation, using all the HP and Microsoft drivers only, (no application of third party still installed) I have successfully install the 64-bit application Cisco PEAP for 64-bit Vista and create the connection which is required.

To date, there is only one problem with this laptop and I expect a fix from HP for it in the coming days.

The HP MediaSmart application for this machine special 64-bit is always just a touch unstable running Windows 7 Professional.

I hope that it can save someone else the days of frustration I endured everything in trying to solve this problem.

  • PROBLEMS WITH TX2Z 1000 CTO

someone please answer me the following questions:

    1. the members of some communities touchsmart claim that "sometimes the HP does not control remotely with the model and their laptops also have a matte screen instead of the screen shining in this model". is this possible?

    2. I'll have 2 notebooks of this model at the same time & I want to be assured on the previous question. is there someone actually deal with this problem?

    3. which model is best, or what are the differences between tx2 & tx2z models?

    PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE

    (1) sometimes due to the packaging that your remote control is not in the laptop box or in the slot on the left side of the laptop. If you have checked both places and you have not the remote and you think you should have a contact HP. If you are in warranty HP will send you a replacement as long as it was supposed to come with your custom unit

    (2) people have had this problem, but the resolution is displayed above

    (3) better, it is a matter of choice staff and specifications. The TX2000 and TX2000z are built customer units, if this is not applicable to your question. you could build a better TX2000 a TX2000z or vice versa. The Z is only an indicator of the series.

  • Automatic installation of the RNDIS driver

    Hello

Why when you connect a Linux USB Ethernet Gadget for Windows 7/8, and perhaps others, Windows does not install the driver automatically?

The driver is already on the hard drive and Windows knows the DEVICE class. Should be simple. Am I missing something?

    Best regards

    Hello

Welcome to Microsoft Community forum.  Let me help you with your concern.

Windows uses information files (INF) the installation program to install the following components for a device: one or several drivers that support the device.

  • The response of the mouse becomes slow and I get the low battery warning

Original title: Use the Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1 model 1014.  Recently, I had replace the batteries in the mouse at least once a week.  Is there a solution?

The response of the mouse becomes slow and I get the low battery warning.  Until this started happening batteries have been change less than a month.

    Hello

    1. What is the brand of mouse and the model?

2 have you ever done any recent software or changes to the hardware to the computer?

If you use the Microsoft mouse, I suggest you follow these methods:

Troubleshoot a wireless mouse that does not correctly:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/321122

Troubleshoot the incidents of the response to the mouse or wireless keyboard:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/838398

Use the following tips to get more life on the batteries in the keyboard and mouse:

    a. use the mouse on a surface of clear color. With the help of the mouse above a black surface can deplete the battery at a faster pace.

    b. do not use the mouse on a glass surface.

    c. when replacing the batteries, use alkaline batteries. Other types, may not last as long.

    d. when wireless devices are not in use, store them near the computer.

    I hope this helps!

  • Copy a table with a local domain defined on another design

    Hello

I have a design with a defined local area (the area is defined in design, not in the fields in the default directory of types system). A table is using this area.

The table is copied to another drawing and appears as a linked table. In the linked table definition the definition of area is visible.

During the closure of the design with the original table definition, the definition of domain is no longer visible, and the column definition is incomplete (only the data type is indicated). The reason is clear: the field is defined only in the design, that contains the table definition the original and not in the design have been copied to.

So when faced with a table, it should be checked if the used areas are the defined. If so, then one of the following options must be taken:

-stop copying, the area must be moved manually in the domain file to the directory of types of default system using the administration tool of areas. Or

-ask the user to accept the areas are displaced local design to the default directory of system types. Please keep the same domain ID.

In this way, the design remains consistent.

    Best regards

    Joop

    Hi Joop,

What version of DM? In DM 4.1.873 ai2 (should be the same in EA1)-areas local sources are copied as local areas in the design of the target, and they behave like other related objects. No problem if the design of the source is closed. The only problem is the synchronization of these areas - "Synchronize remote objects when model loading" must be checked in the areas of the command get synchronized with areas modified sources. And the design remains consistent.
