Multiplayer game

I wrote a few games for BB10 using WebWorks. I wanted to add connectivity BBM and let both games, I finally found that I can use BBM to invite people to download my game, but do not actually connect. Is it possible to combine two drives pass and iron small amounts of data? I watched the push notifications, but that seems to be to communicate with a server, and I just want direct device to. I have searched for about a week with no luck and don't like the idea of adding an option of sharing to my games, if not then, people can actually play together.

There are a lot of pub/sub third party that can be used for this. BB has talked about it, but no news when it could be put in place. You would probably hear on the side of NDK first.

  • Saved multiplayer games in Age of Empires Collector Edition fo not start

I use a DVD-ROM PC named Empires collector's Edition of the age. It is not possible for me to start a multiplayer game of Age of Empires II registered. The error message is "you must have a CD in your CD-ROM drive to play the game."

I used the same computers and configuration when I tried to start the saved game as was used when the game has been saved.

I spent a lot of time looking for a solution without progress. I'll be very happy if someone knows how to solve this problem.

I looked liked Microsoft technical support options. Perhaps one of the problems is that they never thought that this DVD should need support on its own. The only support that have ever existed is related to the AOE II, but this problem is directly related to the release of the collection.

Another thing, I discovered that the with the extension of conquerors, on the same DVD, it is possible to open internet saved. It isn't Age of Kings, but pretty close. For my son, this solution will be good enough.

  • RTMFP: Multiplayer games

    Hello.

I have a lot of flash games and always said that to the multiplayer mode, you have to use things like smartfox server and other software.

I just read on the RTMFP introduced in 10.0 and 10.1 updated - this means it has just easy multiplayer programming or have I misread the article.

RTMFP means that you are able to build multiplayer P2P flash games multiplayer games that can be low-latency enough for real-time.

You will still need to use a central of rendevous Cirrus RTMFP, Flash Media Server server or Open Source (like Cumulus or ArcusNode) solutions to establish the "handshake" which will allow customers to connect directly to each other over UDP and RTMFP.

In terms of difficulty, it can actually be a little more difficult in the sense where you will need to build some type of 'lobby' matchmaker service players who want to create a game, also if you want to follow the model of P2P network games like modern warfare uses you will need a way to implement a RTMFP clients as "host" / "server" so that you will be able to run some kind of simulation (compatible) and possibly develop a backup system in case "home" drops and you need promote another peer to be the host).

In terms of lower cost to get a multiplayer game and RTMFP potentially running provides that because you require a central server browse games only to provide the first twinning and RTMFP rendevous.

  • Vista of 60 seconds of lag in multiplayer games

I have a new hp computer. I sold my old laptop because of its graphics. I couldn't play all the games I love. So I have this new one, Nvidia 9300ge, 3 GB of ram, Intell double heart (2.60 Ghz). Well the main problem is when ever I play a game on multiplayer this terrible lag run 60 seconds and repeat over and over again. So I did some reserch on google, and I found a program of Vista anti-Lag. It works, but sometimes it doesn't. The thinking is that help and that's what counts. I have also seen what we call "netsh wlan show settings. I think so. I have heard that the service pack 1 fix the problem but it's a beta. I have the full version of the pack 1. I ' v looked my roughter nothing wrong with it. I never had this problem on my XP laptop. Is there a way to fix this? Or Microsoft is working on a solution? I mean they can't just leave us hanging right useres vista?

    Hello Bravo95,

Thank you for the feedback.  Now that you have enabled your graphics settings, the last thing giving you eventually lag is your wireless connection.  Until you are able to use a wired connection, your game will be conducted.  I have included some of the drawbacks regarding the games below wireless, this is why most players avoid to use wireless, unless they have no choice.  Please check the details below and let me know if it helps you.

  • HP Pavilion g7: gel g7 HP Pavilion at the game and video, loading screens

So, he started like 3 months ago when I got my laptop back from repairs. I wanted to play a game (Splinter Cell: Conviction) via Steam. I turned on the game and saw the intro, but with no sound. Then, it turned out to be black. I waited 2 minutes before it loads. He loaded, fortunately. But then, when I started to play the game, it happens again. A mission has been loading and I could see the game loading icon, but for 3 minutes. When the game started, it was OK. But then, in a cutscene, it happened again. I saw the picture of the main protagonist, but no video or sound. This has happened in each cutscene and loading screen. Even when I'm dead in the game, it happened. Almost all of my games on Steam to do this (Splinter Cell: Conviction, Batman: AA, Injustice). On the other hand, there are few games that don't do this (the origins of Batman Arkham, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Batman: Arkham City).

Two months earlier, the problem to grow. Even videos on Youtube and all the other video portals are the same thing. I see the screen on a video and the videos on the right, but the video does not play. I have to wait 2 minutes until it loads. Every single video. He then starts, plays and plays. But, when I stop in the middle (anywhere) and then want to watch further, the loading is here again. It takes again like 2-3 minutes.

But the worst is the multiplayer games. I have it be based on Payday: The Heist. Let's say I made a lobby for other people to participate. Then I press "start the game". The loading screen strikes again. All the players in my lobby connection let go me. When I join a game of others, I play like a minute, and then it happens again. It stucks (I can hear the soundtrack) and then told me that I lost the connection to the host. Some games do not have this (Minecraft, Portal 2), but some do (Payday: The Heist, Batman: Arkham origins). There is no connection problems, my brother has a PC and its internet connection in these games is perfect.

When I want to open a file, it's OK. Opening files is not a problem.

When I tried to think about it, I thought that the problem is in the sound. Thus, in Splinter Cell: Conviction, I tried something. Every time there is a loading screen, I turned the sound on my laptop. The screen was completely normal, loading took only 5 seconds. I was very happy, but when I tried a second time, it did not work. And third, fourth, fifth...

Currently, the problem gets bigger. I can't read some of my favorite games of co - op and etc. The loading is very annoying. I'll be very happy if a solution will be found.

Sorry for my English, I am from Czech Republic.

    Hi @Thomas_Ber ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I saw your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook g7 and the problem with the speed. Here's a document on improving your system.

Make sure that all updates are completed within the control panel or click the Windows key and start typing the laptop settings, then go to update.

You could try a refresh of Windows 8. Please read the entire document before performing. This could restore all the settings on the PC.

Here is a link to faq support with steam. They might have a solution to this problem.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • Not associate message for Age of Empires III online game?

So I used AOEIII play online a decent amount, and I always want to play in games with my only friend. I stopped to play for... two months. Then the other day we decided to play a game together. For the last four days, we tried to bring in games, games and invite each other, etc.. It won't work. I can't get... Fifteen for topic % of the games I try to join, and I can host games very well. However, I don't know why I can't join many games and why I specifically can't join games with him. We tried games hosting and inviting each other. Always get a failure to join. And when I find someone whose game I can join, I try to invite him, but he cannot participate if I'm in the game. If I leave, however, he can join. I never got a message saying incompatibility CRC, or something like that, just the standard "failed to join. It is incredibly boring because it is a game, we're both very interested and enjoy. I hope someone can give me some solutions. Thank you advance!

Oh, and it's not my firewall. I made sure that it is off while I play.

    Hi bananaphonemang,

    1. have you installed updates on the computer?

You can try the following steps and check if it helps.

    Step: 1

Sign out and then sign back in again on the game. If this does not work, then try the following steps and check.

    Step 2:

Power cycle your equipment computer and network. Turn off your modem, router, and your computer, and then restart them a few minutes later in this order.

If your router is a "Game Mode", and then have this activated.

    Step 3:

You can also read the following article and try the suggested steps:

Ports that you must open in Windows Firewall to play or to host a multiplayer game of Age of Empires III

  • Is there a game area site manager? Someone you can ask a question and ask them to do a little research on this?

In the game of Spades, heart or any multiplayer game... I suggest MSN offer a way to end the game, like throwing cards, when a game is obviously hopelessly lost and your partner leaves, and the game goes on forever... Maybe this help with the problem of traffic... and reduce people being able to leave a game whenever they want.   In addition, there should be some sort of penalty for intentionally losing the game, for example, tender of 13, then leaving your teammate in the room to finally lose... It is very rude
