  Hello, I'm having problems install the version of Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student trial.  I had a few problems with the initial installation 2 times and finally understood why (firewall, duh!).  In any case, I have 3 registration keys, I tried to get a 3rd, it gave me an error while it was almost finished to install, telling me he had a problem with the key, as I entered. I have already run the utility to remove all traces of installs.   It is a very simple question.  I have a new HP with Microsoft Office Basic 2007 desktop computer and Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 is installed.  I also have the CD of Microsoft, but they say nothing about the limits to the installation.  Can I install this software on another laptop or netbook?  Or is it just a 1 CPU license?

  Carefully read the end user license agreement.  My understanding is that you can install Office 2007 on a PC and a mobile device.  However, you should read the EULA for yourself.

• Microsoft Office 365 does not work after update of El Capitan 10.11.4 March 27

  I've upgraded to El Capitan 10.11.4 March 27 and my Microsoft Office 365, specifically the word & excel stopped working properly. Files can be opened, but when you save the new content, and then close the document, it does not record properly (and no backup or temporary file cannot be found). Once opened again, they eventually return to the saved before the update version. Thus losing the latest added to the document after the update.

  If anyone has experienced this or can help, I'd appreciate it. This is my first mac and I thought it would be much easier to use than a PC, but I'm not sure I can take this abuse much more time

  You can also report the issue in the Microsoft support forum. Note that Office 365 indicates only that you purchased Office in the subscription, but it does not indicate what version of Office you are using.   First, it could be useful that you posted your question to a Microsoft Office for Mac forum as opposed to this one, for the model 12 "retina MacBook early 2015.

  If you use the updated Office 2008 DVD, it may not install unless it detects the presence of an earlier version of Office, for example, Office 2004. It is difficult to remember how the installer works because I have not used in the last 7 years or so.

  But by all reports, Office 2008 works with El Capitan.

  I have Office 2003 and that's all that I need and I want to remove the package from the 2007 trial.

  I tried to uninstall and it has been removed from the Uninstall list, however, when I look in the start menu > all programs > Microsoft Office all items office are still reported with my 2003 versions are for example

  Microsoft Office Access 2007

  It is a nuisance.

  These are strange sounds, uninstall MicrosoftOffice will never cause the problem. Try to use Uninstall Manager like this:

  I have a strange problem with MS Office report VI, which is included with the report generation tool. I created an Excel template that I linked, according to the preference "Custom template for Excel" and all the named ranges. However, two of the named ranges that I entered are 1 d arrays of doubles.   The Express VI are easy and convenient, but some costs. Since the Express VI can also accept a waveform entry, you have to accept that it will add a channel name.

  In MS Office Report, there is a block diagram entry named path to save the report. That is where you can save your report in Word (.doc) or Excel (.xls) under the name of file custom as serial number, as shown below.

  What version of Microsoft office, you are referring to?  Office 365 by chance?

  Have you tried Microsofts Fix - it Tool? It is reported to remove office at the normal time of uninstallation fails.
