Multisim - location database components list

Is there a way to include in the Schema pane lists the exact location (or at least, including databases) components come?  The column of the family does not help if the same family exist in users and internal databases.  My company has a policy to use only components of the database in a new design.  I want to check some drawings completed and make sure that it is not all the components of a user database.  The only way I can do now is to check the properties of each component, because the exact location is listed in the values tab.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  I have a few hundred components on the schematic, and it'll take a lot of time if I have to check them one at a time.  Thank you.

Michael

Hello m22oswald,

In addition, you can go to tools > update components. This should get you a list of components with properties, which of them is the database.

I don't see a way to export the information, but at least you'll be able to see the list.

Kind regards

Luis C.

    I just ran sudo /usr/libexec/locate.updatedb with two mounted external drives.  I think that when the command is then executed by the weekly update of system, and readers are not mounted, then the data of these drives will be deleted.  I guess I could copy /var/db/locate.database to a file for backup and then use the-d option to locate to search for a file.  But is there a better way to handle this?

    Maybe I should be using mdfind and mdutil to handle this, but I did not understand on external drives for either.

    Thanks for help.

    But is there a better way to handle this?

    Yes. Use a disk cataloging application. I'm sure you can find several in a web search. I don't have a specific recommendation.

  • linking the database field list box

    Hi guys, this is really frustrating me that I have done this before but forget how to do it now. I created a list box in which I want to connect to all the data in a certain area in my database so that when the user extends the list box they will have a direct list of values of the database in which to choose. This ensures that the list will be updated dynamically along with the database and also limit the user to these only values input in the database, thus reducing errors in user input.

    If someone would be kind enough to remind me how to do this, I would be very gratefull.

    Thanks in advance.

    First of all, you need to eliminate the "Elements of the list '' for the list in the property palette item.

    Then, create the following procedure:

    PROCEDURE p_populate_listitem IS
    list_id POINT;
    Nom_liste VARCHAR2 (40): = ' DATACODE. ListItemname';
    rg_name VARCHAR2 (40): = "LIST_RG";
    RG_ID RecordGroup;
    ERRCODE NUMBER;
    result NUMBER;
    Str varchar2 (1000);
    BEGIN
    -fill values
    list_id: = Find_Item (list_name);
    RG_ID: = Find_Group (rg_name);

    Str: = ' your request, Select here.

    Errcode: = Populate_Group_with_query (rg_id, str);
    IF errcode = 0 THEN
    result: = GET_GROUP_ROW_COUNT (rg_id);
    END IF;
    Clear_List (list_id);
    Populate_List (list_id, RG_ID);

    END;

    And then under the trigger a TIME NEW FORM INSTANCE of your form, call the procedure...

    It should work...

  • Number shaped Non-Database components

    If an element represents a column of data, the format on the 'Settings' tab mask works. But if the item is not a database column, the format mask will not apply.

    How can I format numbers in the page elements that do not represent database columns?

    I am not the expert in javascript, but here's an example that I used to load the text in a line in the form of a number and perform a calculation and load the result to another column. It does include formatting in JS, but maybe it'll be useful.

          var nXtbuy =  parseFloat($(this).closest('tr').find('.base_next_buy_hid').text());
          var cRslt = (nXtbuy + (nXtbuy * parseFloat($v('P85_PERCENT'))/100));
          cRslt =  Math.round(cRslt*Math.pow(10,parseFloat($v('P85_ROUND'))))/Math.pow(10,parseFloat($v('P85_ROUND')));
          $s('f02_'+vRow, cRslt)

    The parseFloat is the significant piece there to avoid NaN

    Then, if you google "formatting in JavaScript", a number of good entries search there are several.

  • Using the old Master of MultiSim databases in New Versions

    Hi all

    I have the following question. Is it possible to use old Master databases in new versions of Multisim?. For example, I try to use the Multisim 10 of Multisim 11 database but it does not work. There are some parts that are in the 10 version of the database that are not in version 11 of the database.

    I use Multisim 11. I have the file Multisim 10 database of origin of my old installation. Thank you.

    Hello

    It is not possible to use the database to a version of the software in another. The master database has components based on the version you purchase. It is possible for you to place the components (to the exclusion of the lively and nonparametric) on your design in version 10 and open the drawing in version 11 or 12 and save them to your user database. To save, right click on the component, and then select Save the database component.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to fill the drop-down list components installed?

    I have installed Eclipse and the blackberry for eclipse plugin that includes the component pack 4.5.0. I have installed all of the components listed on this page: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/javaappdev/javaeclipseplug.jsp. The versions 4.2.1 and 4.3.0 are zip files that I add to Eclipse by using the software update-> add the site-> archive. Version 4.6.0 and 4.6.1 4.7.0 are exe files that settle in the location C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE component Package 4.x.x.

    In the folder plugins on the box, I see version 4.3.0 and listed 4.5.0 4.2.1. When I go on Blackberry JDE-> installed components and click the drop-down list box, the only pack component that I see is 4.5.0. How do the other components packs appear?

    Well it's resolved, I guess. After about 3 hours, the software updates-> add the site-> repository for the Blackberry update works. When I installed the components as a result, they appear in the drop-down list. It's a little confusing, because I already tried this at least 5 times and each time before eclipse was a java error when doing this.

  • list of archive logs show only 1 location instead of 2

    Friends...
    OS: OEL 5.5 64-bit
    DB: 11g R2 (11.2.0.3) 64-bit
    I put 2 destination to archive. Log_archive_dest_1 = / u01/archive1 and log_archive_dest_2 under/u01/archive2.
    When I do this...
    SQL> archive log list
    Database log mode              Archive Mode
    Automatic archival             Enabled
    Archive destination            /u01/archive2/
    Oldest online log sequence     8
    Next log sequence to archive   10
    Current log sequence           10
    at the same time, when I do this...
    SQL> select dest_name,status,destination from v$archive_dest;

    DEST_NAME                                          STATUS                                             DESTINATION
    -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------
    LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1                                 VALID                                              /u01/archive1/
    LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2                                 VALID                                              /u01/archive2/
    Why list archives logs showing that one location whereas the query indicates both the location. and why list of newspapers of record showing instead of archive1 archive2?

    Thank you

    The LIST of NEWSPAPERS of ARCHIVES control gives a quick overview of the State of archive, it clearly should not be used to report on destinations.

    The ARCHIVE_DEST view $ V gives a clear view into where on the disk are these destinations and when you use the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n parameter, is closely related to what has been entered in the file init.ora parameters

    DragDrop.png

    I came across a problem recently. I wanted to be able to use drag - and list controls dropEnabled property and (on the same canvas) use the functionality of drag-and-drop automatic implemented other components (in this case, a combination of movable labels that can drag a group component). I wanted the labels to be moved in the entire screen, but only fall on the part of the Group (NOT the list). The items in the components list were supposed to be interchangeable between the lists in the set of properties dragEnabled and dropEnabled to true. The problem is that when I drag the labels of the groups on the lists a null #1009 object reference error is thrown because the list does not try to calculate the index fall for labels. I know that I could work around the problem by setting dropEnabled = false on the lists and implement drag - move by hand, but I hope that both variants of drag-and-drop coexist in a spirit of flexibility.

    Any thoughts? Thank you very much!

    Kind regards

    Thilo

    When you delete something on a spark list you will need to provide a dragSource not null in the format 'itemsByIndex', if you change your code to something like this, it should work:

    protected function draggableLabel_mouseDownHandler(event:MouseEvent):void {}

    do some data to pass to the list
    var someData:Vector. = new Vector. ();
    someData.push ("hello world");

    List is waiting for data to slip with the format "itemsByIndex".
    var dragData:DragSource = new DragSource();
    dragData.addData (someData, "itemsByIndex");

    DragManager.doDrag (event.currentTarget IUIComponent, dragData, events);
    }

  • Coaxial connector in Multisim component

    Hello

    Im looking for a component of coaxial connector in the Multisim database as well as the site of components listed here. But I couldn't find one. Can someone get me a clue on how to find it. Thank you.

    hers,

    There are several symbols of 2-pin connector that you could use and attach them to the available Ultiboard fingerprints or footprints BNC customized based on what it takes, however, here is a diagram with a BNC connector for example with a standard configuration of symbol of the BNC.

    Do not hesitate to register for databases, and customize with no specific information (that was created for a 50 ohm coax).
