Muse - characters not supported

When I'm trying to publish my site on BusinessCatalyst, I get this message on the muse:

Error:

Adobe Edge animate "/ users/joekaul/Dropbox/J-Col Design / Square / untitled folder/Square animation.oam ' cannot be exported to Adobe Business Catalyst because it contains a file (images/down # .jpg) named containing unsupported characters: / \ *? & "<>|:;" % # + ' ^ { } [ ] `

As you can see, there are no characters not supported in the expansion... it is a lively edge of .oam file and has worked in the past. In fact, on my last successful upload that it worked. You can see here:

TheSquare. BusinessCatalyst.com

This is the place 'drawing' upper-left.

Can someone enlighten me as to why this is happening? Thank you!!

I would certainly find what is this file.

The active panel will display a type checker icon small next to the image (I think) which indicates a property that is not properly sized.

We try to add 301 redirects the following format:

    1. the admin page "URL redirect" will not accept ".aspx" suffix to the url 'from '; He complains that the 'Destination' url contains invalid characters

    2. the 'cms' file gets removed from the "source" url whenever we go back to change the item.

Have you encountered this before? Have you found a solution?

We would like to get this resolved soon, but we will use manual JavaScript redirect in the meantime.

British Colombia does not and will not support same redirections of file extension. This has always been the case.

Same system URL or reserved URL that can lead to conflicts with the functionality of the system not accepted as well.

  • Set of characters not supported when the use of convert and join

    Take the following tables:
    --------------------------------------------------------
    --  DDL for Table TEST_ASSOCIATION
    --------------------------------------------------------

      CREATE TABLE "TEST_ASSOCIATION"
       (     "PARENT_ID" VARCHAR2(20 BYTE),

      CREATE TABLE "TEST_OBJECT"

       ) ;
    Now this query works perfectly:
    select * from test_object t_o
    where convert(t_o.name, 'US7ASCII') like '%a%'
And it does not (error ORA-01482):
    select * from test_object t_o
    where
    exists (
      select * from test_association t_a
      inner join test_object t_o2
      on t_a.parent_id = t_o2.id
      where t_o2.id = t_o.id
    )
    and convert(t_o.name, 'US7ASCII') like '%a%'
I suspect that the inner query corrupts the CONVERT function, which makes it fail.

  • "FTP only is not supported on this server" error message

Hey, I just finished a web design using Muse, but when I just downloaded on my third host im getting this message:

«FTP is not supported on this server [could not connect to port 21 rootingandfruiting.co.uk: Connection refused].»

Does anyone know why this might be? Does this mean that Muse cannot download to this particular customer of accommodation?

I downloaded another site through Muse by using a client of different accommodation and it worked fine. So I was wondering if this message means that there is a problem with my hosting customer, or if the problem is just that Muse does not support the host client im trying to use.

The hosting customer is serfdom if that helps.

    Hope someone can help me.

    Thank you

My guess is that the URL of the ftp server is incorrect. Some hosts use a different URL for the FTP web site (ftp.mysite.com to ifrance.com, for example).

  • Muse - FTP only is not supported on this server

    Hello

When I try to upload to a server by using the client ftp Muse (file > load on the FTP host) I get the error message: 'FTP only is not supported on this server.

The ftp server is: ftp.squirrox.com:21 the username and password are correct, because these credentials work with FileZilla and FireFTP in FireFox. I use 2015.0.2.4 with OS 10.10.5 Muse.

I also tried to use the name of the server, in the form "servername.squirrox.com", then I get the error message "FTP server not found."

My site has about 130 pages and many pictures, so I prefer to use the customer of Muse, while I have the choice of downloading only changed files.

Anyone have an idea how I can fix this problem?

    Hi timw90300691,

It appears as well as your host only supports FTPES, which is different from simple FTP or SFTP and they use a prefix "ftp." on your domain site for the URL of the ftp server.

If you enter the correct URL of the FTP (ftp.squirrox.com) and select "FTP over SLL/TLS (explicit encryption)" as the FTP method, you should be good to go.

Let me know if it works

    Kind regards

    Hello.

Today, I had the opportunity to work with a user of Muse with the same problem after you perform the troubleshooting steps in the post above we decided to communicate with the host.

Later, I learned to know that host IP of the user of Muse and they managed to unlock and muse began to connect to the FTP host.

I have another host scenario suggests Muse to add user : 21 to the FTP address and then Muse was able to connect.

    For example ftp.domain.com:21

Please try the suggestion 2 above and let me know if it works.

  • How to use textfiled to display a string that some characters are integrate the other font not support

    Hello world

I try to use fonts embed on a textfield, however, embed police can only support limit glyphscharacter.

So I was thinking is - it possible that if the police understand the character, I use this font, if not understand, I use the system default font

as the text function on http://picmonkey.com

If I want to use embed fonts to textfield, I need to set textFiled.embedFonts = true

However, if I did that, the characters not included in font is not displayed, even I change textformat.font = "_without"

So how to solve this problem?

    What did picmonkey do?

    use textFiled.embedFonts = false

  • Does not support the french characters in UTF - 8

I use adobe flash 3 jacquard all coding in action script 2.

I have the xml file of the french language, I want to display the content in flash player. I used UTF - 8 for encoding. But my character from french coding does not work. How to show the french language character as the character " e "? I used ' & eacute; ' for ' e 'characters in UTF-8. " But shows exactly what I encode & oacute;. Is it possible to support the character encoded in xml? then, he could show in flash player language french.

My French language xml file is attached with this post.

I hope you mean that you use Flash CS3? because Flash 3 is more than 10 years and does not support AS2 or unicode AFAIK.

Assuming you are using CS3 and your XML file is correctly saved in UTF-8 format. Then, the usual problem is that the special character has not been integrated into the text field or that police did not have this character.

But first of all are you sure the file is saved in UTF-8 format? I ask because a lot of people come on these forums and say that their file is UTF-8 and we are working on it for a few days and in the end, they discover that it is not. Just add the tag to UTF-8 in a text file header does not UTF-8. Any program that created the file must correct support of UTF-8 encoding.

You don't need to do any special escape or convert the character in html code. If it is unicode just type the character normally. And save your XML file.

The next thing to check is if Flash reads correctly character. You can do this in a number of ways. What I usually do is to have the code that reads the XML and then either draw the nodes since the onLoad handler. Or in the test environment I go to the Debug menu and the "list of Variables". That displays all variables and their value. If the character is displayed correctly in the output window so you know that the file is coded correctly and that Flash is read properly and that the problem must be with the textfield and embed fonts.

If the character is not just in the output window, then you know that the problem is with the text encoding.

The next thing I tried was a set of recovery disks. When I used the recovery disks, it showed the message "this computer does not support the system recovery media. I remember that I was able to reformat until I sent offshore to get the hard drive and the radiator replaced by hp year last April. I also tried without the bios downgrade F.19 REV: a. which do not help either.

    It seems that the motherboard may have been changed and the information system (tattoo) has not been updated to match that of your computer. While I can't fix this for you, I can suggest some possible solutions and I work to spare;

    (1) you can contact HP Customer Support and ask that they correct the problem.

    (2) attempt to control that recovery discs for the model of the motherboard is currently labeled as.

    (3) If you can still read the Windows product key of 25 characters on the Microsoft COA affixed on the computer, you can install Windows 7 using this key. Please see "how to install Windows 7 without the disc" to get instructions on how to download Windows 7 SP1, create the installation media and install Windows 7 SP1 using the 25-digit key from the COA Microsoft on your computer.

  • Animation imported to the Muse does not work

Created an animation in Animate, imported in a Web of Muse site and charge of the whole shebang on my new Web site. The Web site appears in my browser, but there is a large gray area fat where the Animate thing is. Says "we're sorry, this content requires Flash and it does not support.

I thought that the ballyhoo all around this product because it has been working with Apple products.

    What I am doing wrong?

If you want to use the HTML output only, start with a HTML5 canvas CC project. (or convert your existing project using Menu Commands > Convert to other document types and choose HTML5 Canvas from the option) animate.

Once your project canvas of HTML5 is ready, export it as an OAM through publication settings.

Place the OAM in Muse and test your site in the browser. It should all work fine this time, without the need of Flash Player.

  • Muse do not open, no error shown

My copy of Muse worked ok until the end of the day yesterday (17th), but when I went to start it today, nothing. It would not start and no error. I had a look in Event Viewer and saw an alert it. I contacted Adobe Support and after it troubleshooting with them for an hour and have logged on to my PC, we thought that we had fixed it.

Event Viewer listed a .dll file and I asked that if we should delete this. Support said the first attempt at creating a local user who had administrator rights and try this, that's what I did. It worked. I have connected the new profile and ran Muse. OK it came in fine. So then I went back to my main profile and brilliant, tried it worked. Pat on the back and a job well done.

After that support had gone I went and restarted my computer, just to clear things. Not a good idea as today Muse does not work yet. It works well under the local profile, but not my main. I thought that maybe it was connected to have connected the two accounts, opening and closing Muse under the local profile or running under the local profile. All made no difference.   I've added the Event Viewer log information below:

The only thing I can think is that we had a guy in the sort on our network and the profiles of the past few days and I wonder if it is linked to. Maybe a permission problem?

If the new user profile solves problems, so the maximum chances are matter of permission on the main user account.

Try to reset all the permissions and access to the main account, then check out.
