• Very slow editing (spotting) problem

  I'm eliminating hundreds (thousands?) of mosquitoes from an image. Lightroom moves slower and slower changes more I complete. It is now virtually frozen. Each additional 'spot' may take 30 seconds or more. Can someone explain what is happening and how I can fix this problem so I can complete my editing process?

  This is something well known and long-standing LR: more local adjustments that you do with the adjustment brush and the removal of task tool, the slower LR will go.  At some point, as you have discovered, it just ramp.  These tools are not designed to do more that a relatively small number of adjustments - if you need more, Photoshop is a better choice (as you discovered).

  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
  • Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.
  • Please make sure you also update of Lightroom to the latest version, which is 6.3 Lightroom

• After 2015, Muse of the update is now very slow

  After you apply the recent update of the 2015 of Muse, everything has become very slow.

  I worked on the same websites to Muse over 12 months now, and after this update Muse becomes almost unusable.

  I use 2 end 2011 Mac Book Pro:

  1: Mac Os Yosemite 10.10.2,"limited 500 GB SD with 300 + GB of free space, 8 GB of RAM

  2: Mac Os Yosemite 10.10.2,"limited 500 GB SATA with 300 + GB of free space, 4 GB of RAM (backup device)

  A few examples:

  • Use of loading: Pre 2015 update, about 1 minute. Post 2015 update, 2-5 Minutes.
  • A website I'm working on that would take about 1 minute for Site Preview in the browser. The same site, after the update of 2015 takes now up to 7 minutes of preview in the browser. This applies to all sites, the largest site, the longer the delay.
  • Adding an image would take a few seconds to implement now, it may be up to 30 seconds or more.
  • Highlighting a chart area or text box results in similar delays.
  • Loading a page in the chart window will take at least 30 seconds or more.
  • Preview a site in Google Chrome - page loading lasts up to 3 minutes.
  • Preview a site in Safari - loading pages lasts up to 3 minutes each, the scrolling is fragile.

  Basically, what I could do in 1-2 hours before the update can take throughout the day now, if I can perform a task at all.

  Suggestions (with the exception of the most recent purchase Mac ) to speed up the update of Muse 2015?

  Scientific tests not here, but I think that the creative cloud App can have some influence here.

  I've been playing with the firewall settings after discovering the CC tried to synchronize files - which would take approximately 47 hours! Hmmm.

  After pausing synchronization CC disable firewall from Apple, then juggle some more with it and turning back on, I noticed a speed immediately gain Muse and the problems that I said that I had. Not to say that it is suddenly fantastic once again, but I'm now at a point where the Muse is still usable.

  Also, I had the bad evil with flow here in Indonesia. No more.

  You should have two antivirus at the same time. Decide who you want to keep and delete the other. It is in itself will probably help. You may need to get a site removal tool to remove completely all traces of one that you decide to make the dumping.

  I have a high spec machine with a SSD - my hardware is fine, but Muse is incredibly slow. Resize the width of the page to test the reactivity takes 2-5 seconds every time. It is not good either.

  I imported a lot of assets of a model on a page PSD - it is what is causing the problem? I have Photoshop generating assets, but this does not yet fix the performance lag / slow.

  Need a fix!

  Have you tried to work on a new expenses file, similar behavior?

  You can try to uninstall and reinstall Muse- Uninstall/reinstall Adobe Muse CC completely

It is now very very slow. running win 7 32-bit. tried to update two times, uninstalled and reinstalled without help. plug ins look different and do not know if they are the right ones. also, yesterday I went back to an earlier date and while ms has been updated 26 updates so was firefox. • Very slow even with instances.

  Hi all, I am trying to compress a bunch of my own videos to save space. I have the compressor 4.2.2 on El Capitan 10.11.5, latest version of the software. My specs are:

  iMac 5K end 2015

  4 GHz Quad Core i7, hyper threaded to 8 logical cores

  32 GB of RAM

  AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB

  I export source H.264 in MPEG-4 h.264. I'm very slow sometimes, and this becomes even slower when I add an instance. Also, I edited the .plist preference file for the compressor and added more cases that I have been authorized by default because it was not maxing out my CPU. If I have 1 instance (as the compressor allows me) or 4 instances (which uses 90% of my CPU in the activity monitor), it seems much slower than the single instance. Why? My iMac is the most high-end model and a 8 logical cores, how is it unless its slow export when I use more instances? Its already very slow with just a single instance. How to speed this up?

  The Mac Pro is the most high-end model.  When transcoding to H.264 format, use not all instances.  The CPU has a built-in H.264 encoder that uses the compressor.  So bodies indicates compressor to ignore that and just do it via the encoding only software.  The speed you get is the speed you get.  Without knowing the length of your videos, what are their original format and the codex, or how long they take, I have no way of knowing if your Mac is slow or if you expect too much of him.  This information would be useful.
