  Hi, does anyone know if muse standard contact forms widget work with Web sites that are not hosted with BC? I know it is planned to change that to the new update of 2014, but what actually happened? Could not find anything in the update of adobe notes.

• The contact form question

  Recently created a new site, but the contact form is back with errors when downloading.

  1 WARNING

  PHP mail can be disabled or misconfigured web server. These forms can not send email. Contact your Web host or administrator of the Web site on the correct configuration of PHP mail.

  • I checked the site to another host and it works fine,
  • The host of to this Web site is responsible is nearly host
  • I'm currently in talks with support here but not get anywhere quickly.
  • I looked on the forum found pieces of the info, but nothing to solve this problem.
  • I've updated the nearly host php to version 5.6

  Can anyone help?

• Contact form questions when the Email is received.

  Using the detailed standard form of contact by Adobe widget, I added a few extra input boxes, I then moved them around so that the 'message' box was inside. When testing the contact form the entrance to the 'message' box was in the middle with the details below. Of course, it will be unacceptable for customers to get this. so is there a way to fix this?

  Notification would include the fields in the list box that they were created, mean field Web site and budget are created after the message field so they would be down in the menu.

  Example: Created in form fields

  -Rearranged the fields:

  Notification form will follow the default hierarchy:

  You will need to remove the message field, create the Web site field and budget and then create message filed if you want the message filed to be included in the last data field in the notification e-mail.

  I put on my site, I wrote my correct email address in for emails to be sent to a form of contact, but when I tried to use the form I receive either through emails?

• Problem with the Muse Simple Contact widget - subject changing e-mail address

  I built a website for a client, using Adobe Muse, which is hosted by Business Catalyst. On the page of the site contact us I placed an Adobe Muse 'Single Contact' widget/shape with 3 three fields: name, Email and Message. The form worked as expected until the end of December 2014. Since then, the information in the 'Email' field are changed.

  
  

  The site has four different e-mail accounts through Business Catalyst. For the sake of discussion to call them:

  The Messages from the Simple of Muse's Contact form are sent to [email protected] .  When emails are displayed in Business Catalyst "Webmail" e-mail address that was entered in the field "E-mail" from Simple Contact Forms does not appear in the field "from". Instead, the "from" field shows that the e-mail was sent from may[email protected] regardless of what was concluded, by the sender in the Email of the Contact single form field. It don't make any difference this provider of e-mail address is entered in the field - AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, Roadrunner, etc - they are all changed to [email protected]

  
  

  Similarly, when the client tries to respond to the request of the customer the field 'To' is filled with Mail-4@website not the sender e-mail address is entered in the field "Email" in the form of Simple Contact of Muse.

  
  

  If I changed the form of Simple Contact of Muse so that mail is performed either [email protected] Gold [email protected] the problem exists on these accounts as well.

  
  

  I don't know where the problem lies, so I do research here and in the forum Business Catalyst. Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause and how to fix it?

  
  

  Is making it too difficult for the customer to meet the needs of their customers. I am really against a wall on that and have an angry customer who is willing to walkaway of Muse and Business Catalyst.

  The e-mail field you see in BusinessCatalyst is not filled by the customer in the e-mail of the form field.

  As far as I understand it, it is the e-mail ID used to publish the site through Muse. So change 'to' email field in Muse won't change 'from' email in British Colombia.

• Contact form for access to the custom page thanks to hit the button "submit"?

  Is it possible scroll to an anchor point to hit the submit button in a contact form? I have a personalized "Thank you" section under the section of the contact form. I want the site to scroll to it hitting the submit button.

  Hello Jlborhez,

  You can do it with in the muse contact form widget.

  In the Panel options of contact form you select 'Name' in the menu drop-down of "after sending'.

  Please look at the screenshot below. Also, make sure that there is sufficient space under the anchor point to scroll upward.

• What system use Muse to make the contact form widget work?

  I'm a graphic designer working with a coder to create a new website using Muse. My coder was asked what Muse system uses to make the widget of the contact form.  Looking at the code of the page looks like ASP dot net and when the user clicks the button the form data is sent to a script called "FormProcessv2.aspx". If so what version?  (for example, ASP 1.0 or 2.0 or 3.0) Muse use "dot net" or ".NET" or similar in the documentation? If so then would you say what version (1.0 or 2.0)?

  Can someone help me with these questions?

  It is unclear what the URL/code page you look at? Muse does not ASP. Muse uses PHP for form processing and relies on PHP sendMail to send the form as an e-mail information.

• New form of Contact of Muse Widget

  I was delighted to discover that the Muse team has created a contact form widget. Finally!

  Now, I have two questions, in order to get the new features of widget that I have will probably need to update my version of Muse. right? If Yes, where can I do it?

  Catalyst. What is the truth? if it's it's so upsetting!

  Although I'm working on my first site with Muse, so I am able to publish for free with BC, but this is a scandal! as a person who bought only Adobe Muse (and

  not the creative pack Cloud) I was going to publish all my sites on third-party server!

  I am now, I was wondering is there a way to do something about it? Is there a way to make the wonderful new widget works on any site published?

  With BC it is possible, allowing the CSE (Customer Service ticket), you can set the responsible role to which users should receive emails of presentation and then respond to customers directly from e-mail client used.

  Level responses may be used as the first level with the level of climbing. Enable this, submitting a form creates a case which will then turn into a case of web and will be triggered in the responsible mailboxes of the role. Users of the site (your client) can directly respond to the customer of any e-mail client used by using this method.

  In case you use an external server, you can use any third-party ticketing system and setting on the email address to which notifications are received.

  Currently, with Muse when the form is configured with e-mail. Depositing submission form receives notification of that email email and authors of the communication is included in the subject line, you can use manually send their responses by e-mail.

• Muse 2015.1.1 - Contact forms now broken

  I have been using the widget of contact forms without problem on Muse sites for more than a year. I applied the most recent update of Muse CC (2015) on March 1. Make a few mods text the content of a site earlier today; downloaded mods on my server and got the following error message:

  "Failed to connect to a PHP file. Failed to check if the web server supports PHP required by forms of the Muse. Make sure that the URL of the site is entered in the FTP download dialog box is correct. »

  Until it has been updated using the 2015.1.1 Muse, there is no problem with the contact form on the site of the Muse.

  The release notes for Muse 2015.1.1 mention that the latest version contains a fix for the following problem:

  ""An error occurred on the server"message when presentation contact forms on a site that has PHP 5.4 version installed on the server.

  It is however precisely the error message received when sending the form is attempted.

  My (Linux/cPanel) server is running PHP and it does not work properly - there are other sites (both Muse and non-Muse) on this server that are still working. So here are my questions:

  1. What is the minimum PHP version required by the 2015.1.1 Muse? (Please, no alternate responses making reference to other positions - just the version number)
  2. Which, if any, additional services of PHP must be enabled for Muse 2015.1.1?

  A suggestion to Adobe; It would be useful if the details of the requirements for the servers hosting the sites of Muse have been published and accessible.

  Did some research on this and found that by editing form_process.php and comment out lines 15 & 16 (see example below), the problem is resolved.

  It is buggy code - nothing more, nothing less - so please fix this problem.

• Muse Contact forms in GoDaddy

  It is a serious matter. Some of my clients have accounts with GoDaddy for hosting. The simple contact form DOES NOT WORK. The message is sent, and then everything disappears. Please someone Adobe Muse answer why this is happening and what can be done to correct this situation. It is extremely important that these forms work correctly in third party hosting. And please don't tell me I have to go through a solution of the complex HTML module.

  The forms are sent to and address with the same domain name, email, so it's not the question.

  It is a very frustrating situation.

• Third party contact form widget no longer works with the update - PHP errors

  PHP seems to be even more screwed up with the last update/upgrade to Muse.  The previous update has started producing the following error message when I transferred my site via FTP:

  'Impossible 1 WARNING - connection to a PHP file. Failed to check if the web server supports PHP required by forms of the Muse. Remember the domain name entered in the dialog FTP download is correct. »

  However, everything worked, and by participating in some queries here, it seemed like a curiosity about something serious (stuff still worked but an error message popped up for no discernable reason)

  Since the last update, however, widgets that I have two different companies for the purpose of emailing me through the Web site, send messages, etc., are no longer works and the following message appears to hit 'submit '.

  "PHP script form is missing from web server or PHP is not properly configured on your web hosting provider. Check if the form PHP script has been downloaded correctly, contact your host about the configuration of PHP. »

  
  

  By checking with my web host, I was told

  « le page seems to use the script form - u31652.php that exists on the

  Server.

  Unfortunately, this error is not accurate enough to guide us in the right

  direction. PHP works on the server. However, looking at the

  Apache error logs web server I see the contact form appears to be

  looking for a file that does not exist.
