  Please answer a few questions to refine the question.

  1 are you referring to the "documents" folder in Windows thelibrary?

  2. did you check the exact location of the folder "documents" in Windows 7?

  3. from which operating system you have upgraded to Windows 7?

  4. have you received an error during the upgrade to Windows 7?

  Method 1:
  

  As was the Document and Settings folder in Windows XP Pro in Windows 7 does not have access to any user, as it is a protected file. The folder you're talking has now been replaced in Windows 7 with the USERS folder. And you can also access the folders of documents in libraries. You can search the documents folders in C:/Users/user_name.  If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.

  Method 2:

  $INPLACE. ~ TR and $WINDOWS. ~ Q are leftover folders created by Windows during the upgrade process, if there is no error while upgrading files may be saved in these files.

  Individual records will be hidden by default and you can view the folders to view the folders. You can look in the C: drive.

  My iMac early 2009 (one of the 4 Macs in my office) has lost his Boot Camp partition after upgrade to OS 10.11. the 1 TB drive keeps 783 GB as Untitled in disk utility, but the icon is missing from the office and it does not appear in the start window options.  I don't want to wipe o as Win 7 teacher was OEM and I Revit and Autocad licenses on it.  I can do something so he relocated it?  I have the same problem with my Macbook Pro of retina.

• Yoga 2 Pro - sleep setting missing after upgrade to Windows 10 RTM

  Here's another interesting event. I use sleep mode all the time, that's what happens "when I close the lid. After upgrade Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 RTM, "standby mode" is not found. "when I close the lid" and related parameters in power management have an empty selection, sleep does not appear in the drop-down list of choices. It seems revenue to "Put to sleep" by default. By reading the other Windows 10 forums I know sleep is supported in Windows 10, how can I get that back? I tried to download and install the latest driver for power management (as dated 17/07/2015, I think) but I get the message that "you already have a newer version of the driver installed", I cancelled out of the facility. Are there newer drivers planned for soon? I can shoot with Microsoft Basic Display Driver (3200 x 1800 only, see my other ad in the forum), although I used a different resolution in Windows 8.1 and hibernate instead of mode 'sleep', but I hope that these features will work soon.   Favorite with add and edit Favorites favorites are no longer visible after an upgrade of PT 8.52.06 PT 8.53.23 in our CRM 9.1 DEV environment. Under the Structure and content for the two favorites add and change references to favorite content, permission lists appear. Sync Collection security and security of site synchronization process were executed to success. If I add the role of the administrator of the portal my user profile, favorites are all here. We cannot add this role to all users. What Miss me?

  Please check the security on the folder 'My Favorites '.

  See-> E - SEC: What permissions are necessary to grant "My Favorites"? (Doc ID 664987.1)

  The 'My Favorites' menu link is a file and not a page or an ARB.  Security cannot be granted to a whitelist so that it can automatically view the 'My Favorites' folder in the left menu.  The delivered permission related to the 'My Favorites' folder list is PTPT1000.  If the granting of permissions to users this list gives too much access, a list of custom permission to provide this access.

  To grant access to Favorites Add and change the links under 'My Favorites' do the following:

  1. the list of custom permission must grant full access to the PORTAL_ADMIN menu Security page PORTAL_EDIT_FAV and hardware PORTAL_ADD_FAV.

  2. go to PeopleTools-> Portal-> Structure and content-> hidden tools.  In this case, there will be two Csrsfi: 'Add to Favorites' and ' change favorite.  In these two, make sure the custom permission list shows under the tab 'security '.  It should be here, because access was given through the permissions list.

  3. navigate to PeopleTools-> Portal-> Structure and content.  Click on 'Edit' on the record 'My Favorites '.  Look at the Security tab and make sure that the custom permission list shows here.  If it is not the case, you must manually add the list of permissions.

  The folder 'My Favorites' must always be manually updated and running synchronization of security portal will not grant this access.  Another option is to make the 'My Favorites' folder 'Public' so that all users can see this folder, and security settings are not required for the folder.

• AppleScript no longer works after upgrade to Cougar in Yosemite

  Hey all,.

  I have an AppleScript that I use for my business that automates a process that I use on a daily basis. This script automatically does the following:

  • Creates a working within a customer folder folder
  • Created employment record is based on the date with an optional description
  • Creates a subfolder in the working folder for the original files from the client to the format of files, final files, etc..
  • Highlights the Client record in the color of the red label
  • Highlights the new folder of work also in the color of the red label
  • Sets a reminder that this new job is in my ToDo list

  This script is great and works like a charm in Mountain Lion.

  However, I upgraded a system test to Yosemite and my script fails.

  I get the following error message:

  "The path variable is not defined.

  I am stuck and don't know what has changed from Cougar in Yosemite that would cause this error.

  I would really appreciate it if someone could review this script and maybe let me know how to fix this error.

  The script is intended to be run from Automator, where the previous action provides an entry point for the variable in Run the AppleScript action in a workflow.  If this is still the case, you could try to load your workflow in Automator and re-save.

• Drive letter missing after upgrade to Windows 7

  After the Vista Premium upgrade to Windows 7, the letter of partition and recovery disk do not appear in Windows Explorer.

  Have you installed just Win7 upgrade or maybe clean install of Win7?
  I updated several laptop computers, and something like that doesn't happen. Just if you have deleted the existing partition.

  By the way: there is no recovery partition. Recovering files is saved in the folder HDDRecovery on the second partition of HARD drive.

• Problems with the order of the music through car after upgrading to iOS 9.2.1

  I use the iPhone 6, iOS 9.2.1 BMW 3 series and it's control of media (menus, different keys etc.). The iPhone is connected with a USB cable.

  When the music is stopped on the iPhone, I can't start playing music with the controls of the car. I have to use the play button on the iPhone, to start the music.

  I can control the application music with the controls of the car then. After the music stops, the music cannot play again, only with the play button on the iPhone. This isn't safe when driving... The problem occurred after the upgrade to 9.2.1.

  I also have a model of bmw 3 2012 series, my iPhone 6 iso 9.2.1 does let me not even play music via Bluetooth. He also says that the USB cable is not compatible, it allows me to Bluetooth my phone but not my music, I need to plug thanks to the lead to play music, very frustrating

• Smart albums missing after upgrade to 10.11.1 (iPhoto for pictures)

  Hey people,

  I recently updated my OS to 10.11, backup of my iPhoto on an external HD libraries.  After copying the libraries to return to the folder of photos, then raise Photos, just what some of my smart albums are missing.

  In addition, many of my pictures seem to have their error keywords.  I tried to redo one of smart albums, and he ended up including lots of pictures which shouldn't be there.  I hit apple - I to get the info on the photo and I noticed several photos in a row that were not supposed to be there all had the same exact keywords which they shouldn't have.

  Any suggestions?

  Update:

  I did a smart album with one of the wrong keywords and found that the keyword was applied to a very limited number of photos.

• Internal hard drive missing after upgrade to Windows 7

  Western Digital internal hard (second drive) drive is not visible after I updated from XP to Windows 7.  The missing SATA drive is visible in the BIOS, but not when Start Menu Windows 7 finishes launching.  Westerm Digital "Data Lifeguard" also does not detect the SATA drive.

  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  Shut down the computer and unplug the SATA cable on the second disc.

  Restart Windows and go to your computer manufacturer's support web site and search for Windows 7 drivers for your specific model number.

  If you have Windows 7 drivers then download to a folder on your hard drive and install all of them,from the card mother/chipset drivers, SATA, LAN, Audio, etc, and so on. Then shut down the computer.

  Now reconnect the cable SATA and Windows startup, it should normally detect a drive is connected and indicate via a popup.

  Then open "Disk Management" and see if the drive is listed.
