Must click twice

I have a Panasonic Toughbook 53 running 8.1 Win and Photoshop CS6. Since the upgrade to 8.1 I often have to click twice before any given tool is activated. So if I press (v) to activate the move tool, my first click on the workspace is essentially a death click on, then the second click moves my image/layer/object. It often happens in Camera RAW as well. It's driving me crazy... any ideas?

Well I finally understood what the problem was. There is a feature in the settings of Windows 8.1 that allows you to set an offset of the mouse to avoid changes unwanted cursor while typing. Shot he took and problem solved.

  • must click twice to focus on an application

    This problem is rather difficult to describe, and I do not know the correct jargon, so I had to hurt looking for another thread that can ask the same question.

    Situation: I have two applications (this happens with any combination of applications), let's say TextEdit and calculator. The 'focus' is on the calculator. I can type in numbers from the keyboard, or click with the mouse on the calculator figures so he computes. No problem. But, if I want to then bring 'focus' to the TextEdit window - where if I type something - when I move the mouse anywhere on the window in TextEdit and click, it does not update to TextEdit and it remains greyed out. the focus remains on calculator.

    In order to get to restore the focus to TextEdit so I can type, I have to click twice on the app. However, I can't double-click on it or it will minimize the window. I have to click once, wait a few seconds, so it won't register as a doubclick and then click New. It of incredibly frustrating, slows down my work flow and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change it. Happened for quite awhile, and I think changed after I downloaded some sort of new update, which one I don't remember unfortunately.

    Again, this happens with both applications. I am aware to be able to use the command + tab to switch between apps and I use it often, but sometimes using my mouse to organize windows or any other action is necessary.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    And here's the key! It requires only a second click if I let FF check the user name and password, if I type in, a work of clicks.

    Switching to an open app that is on a different page/Office on my iMac workspace, requires two clicks on the application dock icon.  The first click evokes the name of the application in the menu bar (development of earnings) but will not start the application.  The second click switches to the application.  El Capitan, before it allows access to the application on the first click.  It's boring, clues as to why this behavior?

  • Must click the button twice to run the code in the Click event.

    I have a button that has the following code to the click event.
    _SubFormS.setInstances (0);

    Last week, I added the code on the Exit of the next button event.
    xfa.host.setFocus (Subf.ButtonRemove);

    For some reason, I have to click twice for instance 0 value. It's never happened before. If I comment the code on the same output, nothing changes. Ideas of this weird behavior.

    Thank you.

    Hey, 1996

    It seems to me that you have a setfocus soomehwere which is always of the substitution of the click event. For example, if you have a field that does not check if (xfa.event.commitKey == 3) before that setFocus is called, it doesn't matter what other field (or button) you click on, you will be sent to the field specified by the setFocus. 'Double click' isn't a double click, it's a click that is substituted by a setFocus (which sends you somewhere else) then a second click which is not interrupted by a setfocus, which means you can click on the button.

    I don't think I have explained myself well, so here, step by step what I think is happening:

    -You are currently in an area that doesn't have that a setFocus without checking the commitKey.

    -You click on the button.

    -Due to the setFocus, you are sent to another field that does not have the button. This means that the button never fires the click event. the second field that you are sent to has the good commitKey checks.

    -You click on the new button,

    -This time, because the new field that you are in control of the good commitKey, you are not sent to another discipline, and succeeded to your click.

    I hope it did a good job of explaining my guess as to what is happening. Check all your output events to ensure that they all use the If (xfa.event.commitKey == 3) then bit. having forgotten one would explain why that happen all the time... it only occurs when you try to click on the button while you're in the field wihtout the cheque of commitKey.

    Let me know if this is useful,

    -Scott

    I do my job to the computer on a MAC book PRO. I want to create a document using Pages and then convert the document to PDF and send a group email. I want to send the PDF using the pdf for each receiver icon must click the icon to open the document. My problem is the document does not show the icon, but rather the document is already open. I spoke with 2 Apple. 'Experts' care and can help me. Can someone tell me what to do?

    It's a question of how the recipients e-mail programs deal with attachments. Many e-mail programs will open all the files they can handle, including files jpg and PDF, by default, and if the recipient has not changed that there is nothing you can do about it. The only solution is to the compress first, then it will be delivered as an attachment, allowing the recipient to decompress and open it.

  • Word 2013 can no longer print double-sided on print screen option. Must click on printer properties

    Word 2013 can no longer print double-sided on print screen option. Must click on printer properties. This change in lunch took place last week. Anyone know why?

    Hiya @LindaL1and welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

    Your description, it looks like there may be an update that changed the behavior of Word. I understand the duplex option is no longer available in the print dialog box and you should now go to the properties of the printer to select two faces. Is it a problem when printing only from Word or any other program? If you find it very tedious, so you can try a restore system at a later date, but from the sounds of it, you still have the duplex option I would recommend probably leave as is and just get used to the change.

    I would like to know if there is anything else with that I can help, and if it meets your needs, please click on the I accept button Solution below.

  • When I click once, my mouse behaves as if I clicked twice

    Original title: mouse issues

    I started having a strange problem. I use a simple click on my mouse and in recent weeks, often when I click once, it behaves as if I clicked twice. Delete two emails instead of one or opening an email when I really only clicked in once to display in a pain of reading.

    I changed the mouse because I assumed that maybe it's the problem, but that is not fixed. I looked at the settings of the mouse and there is nothing that seems to affect it. I'm a little puzzled. I don't know if I is hardware or software. any ideas?

    Hello

    1. how the mouse is connected to the computer (USB or PS2)?

    2. is the program specific question?

    3. What is the make and model of computer?

    4. If you bought the external mouse, what is the brand and model of the mouse?

    If you use Microsoft mouse go through this link and check with the question.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/266738

    If you do not use the Microsoft mouse, follow these steps and update us with the results.

    Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check the functionality of a mouse.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    If the computer works fine in safe mode, perform the clean boot.

    Step 2: Perform the clean boot.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    NOTE: After you check the clean boot feature configure Windows to use a Normal startup using step 7 proposed in the above mentioned link.

    I hope this helps!

  • Had to click twice on the page of the ADF

    I have a page in the ADF in which are some text entry fields and selectBoolenRadio fields, select a choice to enter the list of values. This form starts with all the fields in the disabled state and the user must click on a button to activate the fields to change the data. When the user clicks this button, nothing happens, when you click it once again, the action is call. I followed the beforePhaseEvent to this page and I noticed that at first (when the user makes the first click), the ADF jumps directly to RENDER_RESPONSE and when the user makes the second click, the ADF pass for all the steps correctly. I don't know what else to do to solve this problem. Please help me.

    First of all, why not use af:commandButton instead of the toolbar button?

    and the method that you use reload the entire page which is not a good practice to load the page everytime

    Place just partial relaxation on the form fields to refresh the fields (no need for this method)

    have you tried true immediately on the button?

  • By clicking twice on the pause/play button

    Hello

    I had a break and a button "play" to my slide show.

    The pause button is just a boks with the code for the click action:

    {sym.$('btn'). Click (Function ()})

    SYM. Stop();

    });

    The pause button is a boks with the code for the click action:

    {sym.$('btnPlay'). Click (Function ()})

    var timelinePos = sym.getPosition ();

    SYM. Play (timelinePos);

    });

    It works, but in the beginning, I have to click twice before the function.

    It's only the first time. After that, everything works fine.

    Does anyone know what could be the problem?

    Heya,

    I think there is an easier way for you to do. Try adding the following to the item you want to play/pause:

    var playing = sym.isPlaying ();

    If (playing = true) {}

    SYM. Stop();

    } ElseIf (playing = false) {}

    SYM. Play();

    }

    This will make the button stop (suspend) the calendar when he plays and play the timeline when it is stopped.

    See you soon,.

  • Must click on the object to move twice

    Hello. I use Adobe Illustrator CS3 on Mac. I don't know what I changed, but now I have to select two times objects to move them.

    I used to be able to select and drag any object with the same click. But now I have to click to select and then I have to click again to move them. It takes a lot of time for me.

  • How can I fix FF who need links clicked twice to load?

    With the help of worms 22.0, Win7 x 64. I have not had any problems until yesterday, where I had a power failure. On reboot, everything in FF loading slow as balls. SpeedTest ran OK, showing no difference in rates of UL/DL, but I have to click it twice to get it to load, sometimes more. Clicking it once a few results in a blank page, nothing appearing during up to one minute. It is yet to expire, no error message. If I click on new or F5, it instantly loads the page.

    I found several links describing the same problem through Google, but none of them were actually resolved before being closed. Safe mode is taken. Disable extensions is also nothing my.
    -In my opinion - something has been corrupted by the power failure sudden, but that's just speculation. There is nothing to be blocked by the firewall and loads of any property in Chrome/IE, but I really do not have to resort to those. Still, everything worked fine before the power loss.

    Idk. Reinstall completely? Is it possible to do the FF to run a control of file check? I threw all the temporary files using CCleaner, but it made no difference.

    No difference

    Edit: redness, brand-new, 19.0 installed without the profile seems to work very well, then he replaced with 22.0, imported bookmarks, and it's all good. Idk why it worked this time, when the steps I took were identical to what I did yesterday (and unfortunately), except using 19.0 complete as the base instead of 23 hub installation. Not working at full capacity once again, no more problems.

  • Rotate an image after clicking twice on benchmarks in the photo

    Hello community!

    I am looking for a solution to rotate an image by clicking on the two reference points on the image. The two pairs of coordinates of the mouse clicking on can give me the angle of rotation with a simple geometry. After this, I turn the image with the calculated angle.

    My problem is: How can I get these two pairs of coordinates? I wanted to do it with a simple MatlabScript ' entry: path... imread (path)... imshow... ginput (2)... calculating... out: angle. Apparently imshow doesn't in Labview

    I already have the mouse event to the bottom, but I don't know how I can do Labview let me click EXACTLY and ONLY twice on my photo and store contact information.

    Any of you have a glue / trick how to do this?

    Best,

    Olivier

    (LabView started 2 weeks)

    Added version LV2012.

    Ahhhhh, in the event data node it is already a property for details.

  • 9 - Hotspots - poor user experience have to click TWICE to clear an incorrect answer of Captivate

    9 - hot spots using Captivate

    When you select an incorrect answer (the user clicks on the wrong place of the screen) the user goes into a loop of terrible. It is a function unsuable.

    What is happening

    The bad hotspot is clicked

    Submitting hits

    Try again, a message

    You wait until they are able to do.

    If they click anywhere else now, more in addition to hot spots appear (there is no limit), one bad cannot be erased.

    If I create a new slide with a clear"" key.

    user hits bad hotspot and after presentation Gets the error message

    Clear hits

    It clears the message, the hotspot evil remains

    Surely the hotspot should also go

    To get rid of the wrong answer, they must strike clear again

    (by the way they could create hundreds of attempts if they want here)

    Terrible user experience.

    OK, I entirely agree with you on the usability of the issues of access point by default, not only for the reason that you MENTION, but for many more. It is also never possible to add a button shape on a matter of hot spot, because the whole issue can be clicked, everything can be an access point. Which means that if the user clicks the form button (I often offers to provide assistance or information on the issue as the score for this question, or the total of points already earned) which will be counted as a bad hotspot click.
