  The problem is unlikely to have been with Firefox itself. It is much more likely to have been with some software or malware you have inadvertently installed

  Installs official Firefox is not bundled with other software. Firefox is customizable and has many extensions of the software you can choose to install but don't have to do anything.

  I would like to know what is the problem with the steps listed below I run for my HTC HD2 Windows Mobile 6 synchronized with a Samsung under Windows 8 and Oulook 2013 tablet.

  General information: I used to successfully sync the HD2 even with a pc running Windows XP via Active Sync

  (1) I installed WMDC firstly on the Samsung tablet which has replaced Active Sync
  (2) I am able to connect the HD2 with the Tablet by launching WMDC
  (3) I can see synchronization running between two devices
  (4) it seems that all is well: I see WMDC window showing contacts, calendar, notes, etc. in sync...

  When it is finished I open Outlook on the Windows 8 tablet, and there is nothing of :-)

  Can someone help me understand what I need to do?

  As far as I know, Firefox runs on all variants of Windows 7. Firefox works better with a lot of memory, so if your system has 2 GB of memory, you may be limited in the number of windows and tabs you can open simultaneously before things get bogged down compared to a system that has 4 GB of memory.

• Lost all my favorites after my dept IT messed with my computer.

  I came this morning and my computer was in place. My Department I.T. staff has spent an hour playing with my computer, and when I got back on my machine, it failed to Mozilla Firefox. They came back and restored to Mozilla, but they lost my favorites and replaced by very old favorites of IE. I don't use IE except when it is required for some programs, if bookmarks are extremely outdated.

  How can I return my favorites? I tried all the difficulties that I can find online, but I can't find an archived date before today. Am I missing something somewhere?

  I searched the Windows Explorer for all files with the word in them bookmarks. I found my last automated backup from Friday and was able to restore my old favorites. Main problem is trying to find with the instructions found on the Internet, my I.T. Department has disabled being able to find files in AppData. When I found the Friday backup, I copied to my desktop and was able to restore from my office.

  I have found a workaround which my I.T. team has setup to keep staff to fix their own problems.
