MWI on duplicate extensions

I have a client with a centralized call processing model, without the site to another component. As a result, they have extensions twice in the entire company. How can I set the unit to turn on the correct MWI when there is more than one instance of a particular phone? Thank you

Make sure that you have enabled the setting of service tenant multiple MWI on Call Manager. Here is an excerpt from the the unit-CallManager integration Guide is: "When this parameter is set to True, Cisco CallManager uses any translation scheme set up to convert extensions voicemail numbers directory during activation or deactivation of an MWI."

    I have set up a lab environment, a CM3.3, a CME3.1 and a 4.0 Server (4) of the unit.

    As I use the license of the demonstration with only two ports unit, I set up one for CME and the other for the CM, each takes and receives calls... I know this isn't 'book', but surely it should work fine for a volume of calls to one or two per hour?

    While everything seems to work fine on the surface, I noticed that any MWI/disable notification comes out two ports - I guess this is normal because the two systems will need to know, and the theory would be that one that had the DN being notified would act on the call...

    However once the notification goes to CM3.3 (the extension be informed either cm or on the CME system), but the unit will retry peristently send to the CME system up to six or so times.

    No idea why this is happening / if it is normal if it can be fixed?

    Cisco Unity device - CM TSP 6 (port of Cisco Unity 2): an attempt to disable the indicator message waiting (MWI) to extension 1203 received no response from Cisco CallManager. The MWI OFF Extension parameter is 5081.

    Often, this condition may occur when attempting MWI is facing an incoming call on the same port, we recommend that ports setting MWIs be isolated ports handling incoming calls. However, this condition may occur occasionally in normal operation, and the MWI request will be retried. If the MWI status remains unchanged for a long period of time or if there are a lot of these warnings from Cisco Unity in a short period of time, there may be a configuration of MWI problem or any other problem.

    I am not Ms. Lindborg, but I share an office with her wall...

    I think it's because of the way in which GCE responds (or lack of response, if any) when the unit tries an MWI for an extension of the CCM. The fix for CSCed86359 should bring some relief. In the meantime, try to change the following registry key on the server unit, reboot and see if that helps to reduce the delay...

    HKLM\Software\Active Voice\Notifier\RetriesOnFailure = 1

    Finally, you are right that it is normal that the unit send MWI requests to each "cluster" defined in UTIM. Search this forum for something like 'Unit MWI Cluster' other related discussions.

    Help, please! A solvent cleaner/duplicate file registry program removed nearly all my file extensions, and I can't open any files excet a .pdf file. Several weeks ago, I went online looking for ways to increase my memory on my Windows XP Professional. I had no business playing with this stuff. I'm not tech savy. For some reason, I thought I knew what I was doing. I downloaded several different free programs, which were supposed to increase the memory on my hard drive. I don't know what program was the culprit, but she deleted my file extensions. Is there a free program that fixes / replaces all the typical file extensions? Please, please advise.

    Use system restore to return to a time before your error - this should restore the registry to its previous state and resolve the problem.

  • Duplicate Page with the extension .php

    I searched the forums and can't find an answer to my question.

    I have php pages in a site, with editable static regions.

    If I click on duplicate page, it tells me to enter a name, but I have no control over the extension.  It just says: .html

    Is it possible to save as .php?

    Is there a solution for this?

    Thank you for your patience. I do not see this behavior me - duplicate a PHP page shows .php as the extension and the new file is saved with the .php extension.

    You have this same problem with a simple test PHP page? Is what happens when you try to duplicate all the PHP pages in your site?

  • Help! PDF extension adds duplicate pages

    I have created a dynamic XML form.

    There are 2 sections in the form where the user may need to add additional pages, which I have added keys to use instanceManager. Everything works just swell, until I open it in Acrobat to extend the functionality so that users can record data in the form. After I have save in Acrobat and open it in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to save, he took the liberty to insert additional pages to one of the sections.

    I checked to make sure that the Min County is equal to 1 and there is no defined Initial count. I tried the setting number of rotations to 1, but it has not solved the problem.

    Additional pages can be removed using a button "Delete Page", which I have added to the form, but once the form is saved and reopened, all additional pages are still there.

    When I put the Max of 1 (in the object-> link), it keep the extra pages added automatically, but then of course, the user is impossible to add extra pages.

    Help!

    Make sure that your pages have unique names and try again.

    You will need to close and restart Firefox after each change through "file > exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

    Also check the start-up and the homepage layout.

    Wild Cards both will find files with the extension .zip? A.zip will find files with 4 letters with A name like
    the last of them. MyFile *. ? OC will find the files that begin with MyFile and have nothing else, or anything else after
    the MyFile AND oc have the last two 3 letters in the extection as .doc .toc .loc and so on.

  • No HDMI output video output mode "DUPLICATE".

    I'm having a problem trying to get this laptop at the video output to the HDMI port mode DOUBLE.  In DOUBLE mode the frame buffer should be displayed on the screen of the computer AND it should display the video on the HDMI port, so it can be seen on a HD TV, and al.  What is strange, is that EXTEND and PROJECTOR ONLY modes work that proves the cable, HDTV, and the video port on the laptop works properly in these modes.  However, duplicate video mode is displayed on the screen of the laptop and no video out the HDMI port.  I know because the HDTV screen is empty with the exception that the HDTV displays the message "No Signal".  I have the latest firmware and installed video drivers.  Anyone who has an idea of what's going on?

    I think that I found the solution to the question that I had.  The problem seems to be that the laptop seems to be driving the HDMI output on HDTV with a resolution of 1600 x 900.  This causes the HDTV to not be able to synchronize the signal from the laptop.  As HDTV does not recognize the resolution, the screen on it is empty.  However, even though mode DOUBLE, if you change the resolution of 1366 x 768 laptop, then the laptop and HDTV display video.  Curiously, although the HDTV can manage resolution up to 1920 x 1080 it is impossible to view the output of the laptop when it is set to 1600 x 900 mode DOUBLE.  If the PROJECTOR ONLY mode HDTV work very well in resolution 1920 x 1080.  In addition, when mode EXTENSION the laptop and the extended secondary display can be set to a resolution of 1600 x 900.

    Now, it makes sense because I have references to kxml2 - ksoap2-j2me-core-prev - 2.1.2.jar and 2.3.9.jar, which contain the org.kxml2.io.

    The two pots contain required files I am looking to just remove the org.kxml2.io of one or the other.

    Problem solved. Just find the .jar to your hard drive file and rename it so that the extension is .zip. Then from there, you can go and delete all you want.

    Be sure to rename it to .jar.

  • MWI light does not illuminate

    I use CCM3.3 (5) with the 4.0 unit (5) MS Exchange.

    I had Setup for failover of the unit and worked well. but I can't get the MWI switch work. The phone is able to compose the MWI extension, I opened the port status monitor and update the status of the MWI, I see that the port is 'component the MWI', but the light comes on.

    I followed the guide MWI, troubleshooting and the notifier showed code "12" and the task is complete. But in the newspapers of Miu, I can't find the command SetMWI. I changed the message to be always urgent in subscriber > Message, the led always lights.
