I have set up a lab environment, a CM3.3, a CME3.1 and a 4.0 Server (4) of the unit.

As I use the license of the demonstration with only two ports unit, I set up one for CME and the other for the CM, each takes and receives calls... I know this isn't 'book', but surely it should work fine for a volume of calls to one or two per hour?

While everything seems to work fine on the surface, I noticed that any MWI/disable notification comes out two ports - I guess this is normal because the two systems will need to know, and the theory would be that one that had the DN being notified would act on the call...

However once the notification goes to CM3.3 (the extension be informed either cm or on the CME system), but the unit will retry peristently send to the CME system up to six or so times.

No idea why this is happening / if it is normal if it can be fixed?

The application log records this message:

Cisco Unity device - CM TSP 6 (port of Cisco Unity 2): an attempt to disable the indicator message waiting (MWI) to extension 1203 received no response from Cisco CallManager. The MWI OFF Extension parameter is 5081.

Often, this condition may occur when attempting MWI is facing an incoming call on the same port, we recommend that ports setting MWIs be isolated ports handling incoming calls. However, this condition may occur occasionally in normal operation, and the MWI request will be retried. If the MWI status remains unchanged for a long period of time or if there are a lot of these warnings from Cisco Unity in a short period of time, there may be a configuration of MWI problem or any other problem.

I am not Ms. Lindborg, but I share an office with her wall...

I think it's because of the way in which GCE responds (or lack of response, if any) when the unit tries an MWI for an extension of the CCM. The fix for CSCed86359 should bring some relief. In the meantime, try to change the following registry key on the server unit, reboot and see if that helps to reduce the delay...

HKLM\Software\Active Voice\Notifier\RetriesOnFailure = 1

Finally, you are right that it is normal that the unit send MWI requests to each "cluster" defined in UTIM. Search this forum for something like 'Unit MWI Cluster' other related discussions.

    Hello guys, this is my first device from apple so that I don't know much on icloud and drive

    I have the icloud service free with 5 GB with backup works with snapchat and hiking hiking whatsapp, photo library is turned on too which is 2.0 GB

    However I never backed up manually or automatically as my last column 'save' shows EVER, after that the next column said backupsize 1.6 GB

    in the next backupo size it says 1.1 GB, here are my questions

    1] what's the 1.6 GB backup...? I turned only on the backup, I have no BACKUP PRESS button and it was not automatically saved as the last column shows backup NEVER

    2. 5 GB, I have only 3.4 GB of available, I'm pretty sure its related to my 1st request

    I think the purchase of storage icloud, here are a few questions related to it

    a] how is made the backup? I want to say si.jpg is supported today, after a few days when there will be B.jpg C.jpg and so on... will be sauvegarde.jpg again or will he acknowledges in the same file & follow up with those who are not saved, abbr. duplication of files.

    Assuming that I understand your question and the description of the information that you see, the 1.6 GB is the rear size If you choose to save. I have fI recall, auto return until does not start until you have saved actually only once (but can be confused with - its been a while since I created one from scratch.) In addition, automatic back ups occur only when the unit is plugged in, connected to the internet and the screen is off.

    Regarding how the back-up works, it only backs up each time consecutive change and it does NOT keep a delta (i.e. the back only place available for restoration is the last of them, you did. Once you delete data (say a page file), it is deleted the next time the backup device. You will not have many copies of the same file.

    Storage total available iCloud is influenced not only by the back ups, but all the data synchronized if she (Photos and content of the app).

    More than likely, the 5 GB of free space will be meet your needs, at least in the short term. I would wait until you really need additional storage before buy you.

    Hello, just bought the qosmio g10.

    Here are my horses/questions

    1. the sound during DVD playback is not getting a lot. Can't handle the bass too well. low voice is hard to hear. is there a good setting for this in the virtual surround from toshiba. currently have srs at 80% level, size speakers 250 Hz, trubass level at 10% and the level of discussion to 70%. I modified the default trubass 80% because the dialogue of the film was unhearable to 80%. It's much better now, but I think it could be better. advice on this setting or other settings, are highly appreciated. I don't think it's HW, since the evolution of the sound settings were much better.

    2 region unzoning. Not sure if this is a good place to ask this question, but does anyone have any advice? We can personally discuss commercial e-mail.

    3. quality of the image for the DVD and tv. The picture quality is as good as a tube tv or is it normal that when you watch DVDs, the picture quality is a bit weak? I can understand for tv on MCE that the image is not great due to the reception of cable quality. Although it's not great.

    4. I can't get my infra red to work. It is available on the g10? should be customized to have infra-red on laptops now. You have to light it some how. Where? P.S. not MCE infra-red, which works very well.

    1. I am also owner of laptop Qosmio G10, and in my opinion small Harman/kardon speakers are great. I tested the sound quality with different kind of music, watching DVDs and listening to the radio on the internet. So far, I have no complaints. Toshiba virtual sound tool is very good and allow the user to define the individual taste of sound quality.

    I noticed that all the options have a strong influence on the sound quality and it is possible to set the quality sound for each type of music.

    My configuration is:
    Size of the speaker 200 Hz
    TruBass level 75%
    UPDATE level 76%

    2. as you know you can change the region 5 times code and the last of them will be by default and cannot be changed

    3. I agree with you that the quality of the image depends on the quality of cable reception. DVD playback quality is excellent. In my case the TV, picture quality is not so good but good enough

    4. If you want to say about the IrDA port, then I have some bad news. IrDA is not available for this device. If there is no entry in the Device Manager the unit has no IrDA. I checked the manuals of s, and I found no info that should be infrared on this machine.

    Hello, I hope someone here can answer a question for me. I have a 4 year old HP Pavilion dv6-1260se artist edition Entertainment Notebook PC and the hard drive died on me. I have been trading for the replacement of the hard disk and found a 1 TB disk toshiba sata hard I like, the original drive was a 500 GB. I'm a graphic designer in order to available disk space is important in a replacement player. The page of product for my laptop specification does not say if the original hard drive was a sata drive. Did anyone here know if a 1 TB sata drive will work in my laptop? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Your hard drive is SATA. Service and maintenance Guide lists the largest available in 500 GB hard drive. This isn't a definitive answer that your laptop can not use a 1 TB retail hard drive. However, if you use recovery disks Vista to install Windows on it, the more great concern will use a hard drive Advanced Format (AF). Most recent hard drives are AF and Vista will probably not be able to install.

  • Question about Powerconnect M6220 and out-of-band/management 8024-K connection

    I'm sorry if this question belongs to another section, but with regard to the functionality of these switches I thought I would start here.

    My question is, the M6220 and 8024-K out-of-band connection are going through the connections on Board (for example port 18 for example) or through connection of the M1000e CMC?

    The reason for this question. We recently vlaned our network and CMC modules are VLAN 8 (10.100.8.0 255.255.248.0) and management of our switches is supposed to be on the VLAN 1 (10.100.1.0 255.255.255.0). I can't ping on the affected IPS (IE 10.100.1.15), but our CMC modules are fully accessible (IE10.100.9.120). Our blades are fully accessible and can access all the VLANS on them (they are the ESX host).

    Finally, I'm sorry if all necessary information has been provided, I'm not so much a networking guru.

  • Question: How can I format external drive in exFAT? NOT in NTFS!

    OK, so frustrated that I had to go through the hedges to sign up here to ask a question like that. Why can I NOT format exFAT? I have many external HDDs that were formatted in exFAT under WIndows XP Pro but my new system, completely updated Windows 7 Professional, I can't format external drives of exFAT. The option is NOT available. In the Format window, file system, is the only option: NTFS (default), there is no other option. I googled the * on this issue and found no answer. This external hard drive MUST be formatted as a disc exFAT. Period. Someone please help.

    I'm surprised the research online increase this... You can do it from the command prompt, but not from this dialog box.  Here's how:

    -Open a command prompt by typing cmd in the start/search box, right click on the cmd search result and select "Run as Administrator"
    -Type format g: FS:exFAT , then press ENTER to start formatting the G drive as exFAT
    To view all other options, type format /? and press ENTER.
  • m8120n Media Center PC RAM upgrade questions - help please!

    I have an HP m8120n 2 year old PC. It has 3 GB RAM PC5300 inside stock. I want to upgrade the ram, with 6 or 8 GB. Here are the 2 questions I have:

    (1) this motherboard is supposed to handle 8 GB (4x2Go). It will get by the BIOS?

    (2) this motherboard is supposed to be able to handle up to PC64000 (DDR2 800) RAM. I can use it or do I have to stick to the PC5300 accompanying?

    I understand that if I go to 6 GB, I leave 2 GB of RAM stock in it and you need to use the PC5300. I would prefer 8 GB and the PC6400. And Yes, I run Vista 64.

    The question do face is, when I scroll horizontally to the last button at the side bar, the last button is not visible completely, it becomes hidden by the right navigation button on the far right of HFM. This issue is in OS 6.0 and 7.0, but not in OS 5.0.

    Earlier, I had the problem in OS 5.0 so to fix it, I prevail on HFM getPreferredWidth() scrolling above, to return the width (width width HFM - width of navigation left button - not with the right navigation button scrolling) and it works fine. Can someone please fix the problem. Thanks in advance.

    Sorry just looking quickly here.

    The question which I believe is in your sublayout.  You tell your mCategoryNavigator field is the maximum width.  This isn't.  There only the width rest once the buttons have been added.

    There are two ways you can solve the problem.

    The simple way is just to spend the maximum width in the super.sublayout for mCategoryNavigator and no maxWidth.

    But the best way is to remove this sublayout completely and in your sublayout for the Manager.  In this handler, the layout and position your two buttons, then give the drop-down field which remains as its maximum width.

    Two other comments:

    (a) I would like to forget calling super.layout in your HeaderMenu and make everything in your own sublayout.  It would be a good exercise.  Remember the last thing you do is a setExtent, once you have placed all and so that you know how much space you need.

    (b) If you never call super.layout and then do a setExtent to get the correct size, the alarm should sound.  It's a bit like someone who gives a piece of paper, asking them to draw a picture and then decide that in fact the piece of paper is a different size of paper, that they needed to make the drawing.  You are actually asking someone else to do something and then ignoring what they have done (or at least a part of it).  If you find that you need to do, then look for another way as setExtent substitution causes the sorts of problems you found.
