• Windows 7 or 8 shows the wireless client connected to the access point, but the wireless icon displays "no internet connection".

  I saw the same problem with a different providers wireless solution. When I've sniffed the air with OmniPeek and the network that the ap was conducting with WireShark, I see the arp for the gateway request going to the router, the router gateway response is sent to the suspect machine in the air, the acknowledgement of PC than the package but never fills the arp cache. I watched two arp responses in a vs work for lack of scenario, the two packages are the same.

  The only way I could solve it was to disable IP Helper (not start too) services, reboot the machine. I see 3 to 4 drops per day, but since the deactivation of this Service the machines with that I tested have not seen the question once again.

  IP Helper:
  Provides tunnel connectivity using technologies of transition IPv6 (6to4, ISATAP, Teredo, and Port Proxy) and IP-HTTPS. If this service is stopped, the computer will not have the benefits of improved connectivity offered by these technologies.

  Machines tested and fixed:

  Lenovo E540
  Lenovo W540
  Acer Aspire One
  Dell Latitude E6420

  Ip assistance service has been changed about 40 laptops, a dozen of which would fail in about an hour. So far, 0 out of the 40 saw the question since this change and reboot (reset is the key after disable it) laptops. It's been about 5 days.

  Any reason why disable this Service solves the problem? With it I can replicate the problem pretty quickly on a few different types of machines so it seems not to be driver or provider specific wireless network card. I checked through the Event Viewer logs, but nothing seems to be triggered during the show. Using the Troubleshooter or disconnect the wireless service will fix the problem for a short period only.

• Cannot connect to Internet access point except on a Jetpack from Verizon.

  I am running Window 7 Home Premium. I can connect to the Internet using my Verizon Jetpack and nothing else.   Flush the DNS and request a new IP address of your ISP server by following these steps.
  a. click on start
  b. click on run
  (c) in the Run dialog box type cmd.exe and click OK
  d. in the command prompt, type the following.

  ipconfig/release
  ipconfig / renew

  Method 3:

  This problem may be caused by incorrect DNS settings. following these steps and check:

  a. click "Start", enter "NCPA. CPL"(without the quotes) and press ENTER.

  b. right-click on the connection you use for the local connection, and then click "Properties".

  c. Click to select 'Protocol Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' and then click 'properties '.

  d. in the Internet Protocol window, we will change the "Preferred DNS server" to 208.67.222.222

  e. click 'OK' twice to complete the change.

  If the problem persists, please repeat the steps and change the "Preferred DNS server" to 208.67.220.220.

The program works fine until I try to use any sort of firewall/antivirus program, even the built-in Windows Firewall: S the scanner still works fine for the boot time scanning, as well as for windows logonm but as soon as any kind of firewall/antivurus software loads up, it fails to connect on the sensor. I added the program to the lists allow but still nothing... So far I tried with AVG Internet Security, Outpost Security Suite and by default, the Windows Firewall. Windows Firewall turned on for awhile, I got when I bought the laptop and there was no problem.

  It's a Qosmio X 500 - 00 X, it uses the same installation of windows when I bought...

  2. go in setting-> Applications-> Service Google Play-> erase-> empty the Cache.
  3. Enter your Google username and password after opening Google Play Store again.

• Windows Media Center extender on my XBOX works initially, but not after reboot of my XBOX. Error: Failed to connect to the Xbox 360 could not connect to the windows Media Center computer.

  It's VERY odd and very annoying!

  I set up my laptop next to my Xbox 360 with an Ethernet cable directly connecting the laptop to the XBOX, and the laptop is on our wireless network. The XBOX has access to the internet (shared through the laptop), and when I test the PC connection and the connection XBOX Live sound fine to all.

  So I'll try to set up Windows Media Center, it works great! I "Add Extender", put the code to 8 digits. It passes through the installation, all works, no problems and WMC opens on the XBOX, I can go into my library, watch movies etc... works great!

  However! As soon as I turn my XBOX off and back on, it will fail to connect to the WMC.

  He says his 'find Windows Media Center PC' which seems to work fine, it goes to the ' Windows Media Center loading screen "contact...". ", and after about 10 seconds, I get an error"failed to connect the Xbox 360 could not connect to windows Media Center PC.   Is the user name in your SQL Server database in the capital, mixed mode letters or small letters?

  Currently, you have created a database link that tries to authenticate on the server SQL using SQLUSER in capital letters. If you use mixed or small letters, so be sure to write the user name (and password) as it is in the create database link statement and surround it with double quotes.

  If you have created the link of database correctly, try an ODBC connection for example from your client and add the user name and password. Does it work?
