My computer beeps every seconds 18-20
My computer beeps every 18 to 20 seconds, then we love it it will shut down immediately!
Is this hardware problem?
Hello
In my opinion, this is a typical symptom of a malfunction of the equipment. On this path, it is not easy to say what may be the problem. You must contact the partner in your country. I think that just systematic check can give more answers.
Good bye

After that I connect to Windows 7, I hear 3 rapid beeps every 30 seconds. It does not go far, i.e. it is not a time of presence and repeat indefinitely. I ran Diagnostics through bios and see anything there (no hardware problems). If you cut the speakers it disappears is not an internal part, like the motherboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Mark,
I appreciate the efforts to try to solve the problem. Please write us with the following details.
What is the brand and model of your computer?
As you mentioned that you do not receive this sound, after turning off the speakers, it seems to be a problem caused by any process running in the background. I suggest you to open Task Manager and check the process running in the background. If you find any suspicious process just try to put an end to this process.
You can also try to check the cause to the clean boot. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

A beep every minute on computer, how to stop it
I had a virus. Microsoft took control of my computer and me a scan of 10 hours. Computer works fine now, except there is a beep every minute. How can I stop it please.
Hi NuCarCarrier,The system beeps are so important and it will indicate system errors and it will warn you against system damage. When the processor system or Random Access Memory (RAM) or hard drive is not working properly, it will give the alert system using the beep. Therefore, I recommend you to check the good condition of functioning of your RAM and hard drive.Change the Windows sound scheme has been defined as 'None'.Follow these steps to do the same thing:a. to open sounds and Audio devices, click Start, click Control Panel, click sounds, speech and Audio devicesand then click sounds and Audio devices.b. on the tab sounds , in the program events list, select "No. sounds" under sound scheme, click on Save as.(c) in the dialog box Save the scheme under , type a name for the new sound scheme. The new scheme appears in the box sound scheme .Check if you are still having the tone. For more information, see: -

Pavilion h8 - 1070t: blocked on the HP splash screen, computer beep
I just installed a PSU Corsair CX600 and an EVGA GeForce gt 740.
When I start my PC, is rest on the start screen and beeps once, every ten seconds. After 3 beeps (30 seconds) my PC beeps again followed three quick beeps and the monitor stops receiving signal from the computer (I do not see the HP splash screen, no signal).
What could be the problem?
I think that your problem is that the video card is not compatible with your BIOS. EVGA 700 series cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS. I suggest you to contact EVGA Tech Support (1-888-880-3842) to see if they have a VBIOS update that will allow the card to work with your computer. If they do not have an update that they can email it to you. Tell them that someone of the HP Forums suggested that you call.
Please click on the Thumbs up button '+' if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

How can I stop my Officejet Pro 8600 one beep every hour on the hour...
HP Officejet Pro 8600 works very well but the hourly beep is very annoying.
Hello The_Majar,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that your Officejet 8600 beeps every hour. I will do my best to help you! Please make sure that the printer is connected to a live wall, not a surge protector. I recommend this step, that the printer can not get enough power.
Then, try to reset the printer for more information, then 60 seconds.
Please post your results, I'll be looking forward to hear from you.

My HP Pavilion starts in Preset Mode and the sign flashes every second
When I start the computer the next sign appears:
Mode Info - 48.4 KHz / 60. OHz - 1024 x 768 - PRE-SELECTION MODE.
The sign is flashing every second and doesn't go away. I'm unable to log in because the sign covered the opening of session space programs.
Definition of a restore point has not solved the problem. Help!

Hi all

What is a "EXP?" 8700? Do you mean 8700 XPS?
Try to clear the BIOS:
- Power off, unplug
- Power button press / hold for about 15 seconds
- Open the case and remove the motherboard battery
- Power button press / hold for about 30 seconds
- (Reinstalling all the RAM, if is not currently installed)
- Replace the battery and case
- See if it boots with only mouse, screen and keyboard connected

Mac Mini end of 2012 running El Capitan
With 3 beeps, 5 seconds silence, 3 beeps, etc, it's "no good bank." I was using crucial memory, works fine until about a week ago when he is awakened from his sleep gave the order to 3 beeps. Changed to original memory of apple, same, got crucial replacement memory, same 3 beeps... I doubt that all the 3 series were / are bad. What else could be? Any hardware problem would give sequence 3 beeps?
Probably the logic board is having some problems caused by the bad memory or another problem. I would certainly get extract in an Apple Store or service provider.

Satellite A300-1IW: HARD drive access light blinks every second
Hello everyone, and sorry for the English, I'm french :)
I bought a Satellite A300-1IW a few days and suddenly (don't remember exactly when) early light access HARD drive blinks every second and it continues even after several reboots!
It does so only with Vista; I checked the disk with 'diskmon' activity and I saw that even if it was * no. * disk * written * or * reading * the led continues flashing, so I think that it is not bound to certain services of vista (superfetch, indexing...)
A similar problem, I saw on a Microsoft support, but it was under windows 98 and with old motherborads!
See: link: [http://support.microsoft.com/kb/138598]So it seems that it is related to level Vista SCSI or DVD...
I have now is not critical, but it's annoying to have this led flashes all the time
You have an idea? Don't you think that it could be related to bios? I want to be sure before touching it, because it is always tricky.
Thanks for your help
In my opinion, nobody can offer no comment because you already gave the answer. There is nothing unusual and certainly no reason to panic.
What do about it? What you want to do? Sorry, but this is a really stupid question. I can just offer you a stupid answer. ;) Take black tape and curl up the LED. ;)

At startup, the computer beeps very - Compaq Presario s # 31316953
I bought a Compaq Presario s3310 om (2600 + amd athlon with XP Home Edition.) S # 31316953)
When I start the computer the computer beeps continiously and nothing happens after that. I did some research and would like to confirm that it is a RAM problem. The original Ram has 512 MB of ddr sdram memory. I did a search on the diagnosis Compaq Bios Beep codes and a beep very indicates error memory - reinstall or replace and re test. I'm on the right track?
Nothing is lost by air, dust off the RAM slots. Not sure you interpretation of the beep codes are correct.

Qosmio G50 - HARD drive blinks every second
Well, if she's here,
I have a Qosmio G50. I installed WindowXP Pro 64-bit.
I noticed the hard drive light flashes every second. I spent some time searching the net for a soultion. This led me to download a utility called "process explorer" from microsoft.
This utility show me that the active process is services.exe. The properties of this service suggest that it handles "eventlog" and 'plugplay '.
I realize that I can't go to the event log, nor what I want.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
Hello
The HDD led always flashes if it read all the data or written to the HARD disk.
The service.exe (Service Control Manager) belongs to the Windows operating system and it s of Microsoft which is necessary and my knowledge background process, it cannot be disabled.Good bye

Dear all,
I'd appreciate if someone help me.
I want to read two files, one is the temperature that updates every second, and the other is energy hysteresis that has specific lines and is constant.
I had a program in the discussion forum to read a file as it is updated. I checked this program in my case and it works.
Then I added playback file hysteresis energy to the existing file. But while I run the program, the energy hysteresis file is read with all the lines.
But the goal is that every time the updates of the temperature, I need to read a line of the file hysteresis energy.
in this way every second, so, I have a new temperature data and a row of the other file.
I tried to use 'for loop' inside the program, but it did not work, because the temperature reading will stop until that end of the loop.
I joined the program.
Could someone help me how read only a row of hysteresis energy file every time that the temperature updated?
IS that what you wanted to achieve?

Hello!
I use the DAQ Assistant, and I have an analog input channel. I want to find the minimum value of my signal every second. So, I want my vi, to write the minimum value of the last second... (what is understandable?)
Thus, in the second and a new value.
How can I do?
(I use max.vi waveform min (programming-> wave-> Analog Waveform))
Thank you!
Use the DAQ Assistant as continuous mode with sample number = frequency for 1 block of data per second.
After your DAQ Assistant use the Express VI statistics (available in the Signal Analysis) and check Minimum to determine the minimum of your dynamic data.

How to stop compensation labview my data output by a fixed amount of 0.125 seconds of every second iteration 1? (I have my DAQ Assistant contained in a while loop so that I can control the number of iterations and therefore the time of sampling).
My apologies for such a badly phrased statement of problem. The question I faced which was the sign that I was getting a pair of accelerometers and through an amp. in my DAQ board felt an offset in voltage for a short period every second iteration 1. It turns out that the problem is that my laptop and the AGP were grounded. Once I disconnected the signal ground in the shift of the signal amp went.
Thank you for your messages.
