  I'm trying to install these updates to windows on my windows vista computer. After trying 3 times, all 8 updates fail. my computer it 32 bit and I don't know anything else. I thought that I might need to update these to install service pack 2? Help, please!

  I tried update 15 times and it continues to fail. I also downloaded the two files separately and they still stop at Midway through the update. I also tried the advice given here. There will be nothing of these updates no matter what.

  Two updates retiurn with error code 646 for KB9762321 security for Microsoft Office System 2007 update; and KB981726 update for MIcrosoft Office Outlook 2007 Junk Email Filter.

  Here's the direct link for KB981726.  As for the other, it's too many digits for a Ko.  To find the right pair, here is the download site.  Just type the correct number in the search field.

  Since they are the two Office updates, you can do a repair for office function.  To do this, click the Start button, type programs and features and click the enter key. Right click on Microsoft Office 2007 and choose change.  Choose fix and continue.  Microsoft Office will attempt to fix any problems there (this will) take a few minutes to run.
