My computer is getting hung up on screen with some weird connection cursor movement.

I am running Windows XP on a HP XW8200. When I start the computer to the top and it get to the log in page, 4 sliders appear and they slowly move to the upper left corner of the monitor as they glisten. I have no control of the mouse, I tried different viability and the area where it poinits to watch a white circle-wash (it looks like a little bit what your computer would look like if you put a magnet next to him and it distorted your screen). It was working fine yesterday and I did not install anything or anything until that hook before the computer starts today. I must point out that this computer is connected to a video editing system and a variety of specialized video cards and connections to it. I don't know if it's a CPU, OS or device edition problem. Any ideas?

Of course, this looks like a video card problem. There he had recently updated on the system?

I check the updates and uninstall any that have been installed recently.

Also check your manf. site for video cards driver and update anything that needs updates.

  • Problem re-installing VISTA after the removal of Windows 8 Preview Release, all I get is a black screen with a message "Not found operating system"

    I recently tried Win 8 on my VAIO laptop spare parts on which I ran Vista, after having previously deleted all the files and documents (I don't use often the laptop). Having concluded that Win8 will really work correctly with a touch screen (and the display size was bad as well), I uninstalled WIN 8, understand that I have to re - install Vista from my rescue disks. This I tried successfully a few months previously to make a clean reinstall. However, after removing 8 WIN via the Control Panel, I can't re - install Vista now. All I get is a black screen with a message "The operating system not found" and the rescue disks do not register. What can I do? I like Vista (although I now run Win 7 on my PC) and really want to put it back. Grateful for the advice.

    Well I finally fixed it by tweaking the BOOT BIOS settings and find something along the lines of VAIO Setup. I'm afraid, I just don't remember exactly what I did, but suddenly I found and ran 'VAIO Hardware Diagnostics' gave me a heart when it announced "no error was detected on the Vaio. Then I saw there was an entry for 'VAIO Recovery Utility - Recovery Wizard' and everything started to load. Since the 2 recovery discs I had. Finally, I ran MS Office and Small Business CD-ROM and now everything is back the way that it used to be. Here I had taken more note of how I got to the well Recovery Wizard. I hope that I never have to do it again!

  • How to get the orientation angle screen with 40 Hz stably without delay to sync?

    Goal: Get orientation angle screen at 40 Hz stably without delay for synchronization.

    Problem with two situations:

    1. When you use the bbutil_swap and navigator_event_get_orientation_angle (event) to get the orientation angle screen with other data such as acceleration sensors and gyroscope data, the sampling frequency will be low grade at 10 Hz randomly. The difference of synchronization will increase from 25 ms to 100 ms.

    2. when the screen orientation angle is collected in the following code to get the angle only, the difference in timing of sampling will be 1, 2 or 5 seconds at random.

    Question: How do I get the orientation angle screen with 40 Hz stably without delay to sync?

    or something wrong in my code?

    Mini code:

    public static void handleNavigatorEvent(bps_event_t *event) {}
    switch (bps_event_get_code (event)) {}
    case NAVIGATOR_ORIENTATION_CHECK:
    navigator_orientation_check_response (event, true); If not the line, no updates on the screen rotation.
    angle = navigator_event_get_orientation_angle (event);
    break;
    case NAVIGATOR_EXIT:
    stop = true;
    break;
    }
    }

    public static void handle_events() {}
    for(; ) {
    bps_event_t * event = NULL;
    If (BPS_SUCCESS! = bps_get_event (& event, 0)) {}
    fprintf (stderr, "bps_get_event failed\n");
    break;
    }
    If {(event)
    If (bps_event_get_domain (event) is {navigator_get_domain()})
    handleNavigatorEvent (event);
    }
    } else {}
    break;
    }
    pthread_create (& t1, NULL, (void *) & rawacceleration, NULL);
    }
    }

    int main (int argc, char * argv []) {}
    screen_create_context (& screen_cxt, 0);
    bps_initialize();

    {If (EXIT_SUCCESS! = {bbutil_init_egl (screen_cxt))}
    fprintf (stderr, "bbutil_init_egl failed\n");
    bbutil_terminate();
    screen_destroy_context (screen_cxt);
    return 0;
    }

    If (BPS_SUCCESS! = screen_request_events (screen_cxt)) {}
    fprintf (stderr, "screen_request_events failed\n");
    bbutil_terminate();
    screen_destroy_context (screen_cxt);
    return 0;
    }

    If (BPS_SUCCESS! = navigator_request_events (0)) {}
    fprintf (stderr, "navigator_request_events failed\n");
    bbutil_terminate();
    screen_destroy_context (screen_cxt);
    return 0;
    }

    Rawlog = fopen (rawfilename, "w"); Save the file in a specific path.
    fprintf (rawlog, "Absorption system, Angle\n");

    navigator_request_events (0);

    While (! shutdown) {}
    handle_events();
    bbutil_swap();

    Thank you for your attention,

    Using SENSOR_TYPE_ORIENTATION of sensor_type_t , you should be able to get > 10 Hz.  Use sensor_set_rate() to get the slower delay to call sensor_info().  Make sure not to enable sensor_set_skip_duplicates().

    However get the orientation at the 40 Hz streaming will not make your application any repsonsive more.  The only way to make your app more would be to manage the orientation change in a short period of time.  This is the time when orientation changes (at the hardware level), to receive you and to deal with it.  It is usually a constraint system and there is not that you can do about it.  What you see using the code above is the same information repeated over and over; FACE_UP, FACE_UP, FACE_UP, which is not really useful.

  • Hi, after that I tried to load either a new or existing project into Adobe first Elements 9 I just get a grey white screen with any of the timeline, boxes etc. on the view. It happened suddenly, one day OK then not! At the top of the screen, I get normal

    Hi, after that I tried to load either a new or existing project into Adobe first Elements 9 I just get a grey white screen with any of the timeline, boxes etc. on the view. It happened suddenly, one day OK then not! At the top of the screen, I get the normal icon of pre, File, Edit, Clip, etc..

    I intend to have bought the first 13 items, it would be better if I bought a new program instead of downloading an upgrade, just in case the upgrade does not correctly load because of the error with my current program?

    If I have the deleted first Elements 9 on my PC would I lose all my existing videos that have been produced using Prime Elements 9 or would they be registered so that they can still be worked in first 13 items?

    First elements 13 works with Windows 7?

    Thank you

    Terry

    First 13 elements absolutely works with Windows 7!

    In fact, I highly recommend you download the free trial version and give it a test run.

    In the meantime, go to Windows Update and make sure you have all the updates of Windows, including those who do not automatically install it. Then go to the website of ATI / nVidia and ensure that you have the latest driver for your graphics card and go to Apple.com and ensure you have the latest version of Quicktime, by the requirements of the program.

  • Windows not working-turn on computer and get nothing but a screen is empty

    Turn on computer and nothing else than a screen empty must cut the restart of the computer and you connect via Safe Mode scanned with my security system and Microsoft, but no problem what is wrong

    It could be that your video card has been set to a setting that your monitor does not support.  When you start using safe, try to change your monitor configuration to something different.
    Right-click empty space in desktop-> properties-> settings (tab)
    I suggest to change 'screen resolution' to something different.  No matter that you don't have many choices or screen looks terrible in this resolution, but simply change to something different and "OK" your way out.  Then, restart your computer in Normal mode and see if it displays now something.  If so, then change the resolution to anything that works for you.  You'll probably have more choice in Normal Mode.

    Model reader problem: WDBHML0040HAL-RK

    -J' ordered this drive of Studio 4 to WD outside of eBay for $109, used. The drive has been used previously on OS X, and I had planned to use it between two Windows 7, 10 and 10 OS X via dual-boot.
    -Boots PC regularly without the connected reader, but it hangs at the splash screen, if the player is connected to one of my 10 USB ports.
    -I can't not to enter the BIOS with the drive connected, and if I get into the BIOS without connection, BIOS freezes as soon as I make it connect.
    -I went into the BIOS, (with the device / disconnected /), and external hard drives moved to the low boot priority. This had no effect.
    -The PC recognises the drive if it is connected / after start. I can copy files to and from the disk without flaw.
    -When it is received, the disk has been formatted with a face-to-face 200 MB EFI system partition, (I have no background knowledge about it), with the rest ~3.5TB unscathed HFS + space.
    -Immediately, I formatted the partition HFS + and it separated in exFAT and NTFS.
    -Deletion of the EFI partition to command line has no effect.

    Someone online says that this is due to the ASUS P8Z68 trying to boot from the drive and to disable "Legacy USB Support" from the BIOS, but my knowledge of the ways all USB devices are disabled, including keyboards. I am doing a FULL disk formatting and will update the post I have try these solutions.

    I'm really in a bind here, guys. In all, any help is appreciated.

    Solved myself. I went back to the basics:

    The drive is 4 TB and I'm trying to use it as exFAT, for compatibility purposes. exFAT supports up to 2 TB per partition. The solutions are either break the 4 TB drive halfway, or to use the NTFS system.

    For the record, I chose exFAT.

  • Double option missing in several drop-down screens with Windows 7 connected to Panasonic Plasma Panel

    Working with multiple monitors with Windows 7 - connected Panasonic Plasma Panel to the laptop. He showed parallel double screen on the two instantly. I tried to set the resolution and then display duplicate in multiple monitors drop down option is no longer available? What is the benchmark for this - I want to use two monitors with the same screen for the discussions.

    Hello

    You can try to configure the display on a very low resolution just to test if the option back. If it comes the problem is related to the video card is not able to support a higher resolution. So, I suggest you contact the manufacturer to obtain the best resolution taken in charge check and graphics card if it helps.
