    Hello

F30 is a little older series laptop I think about 3 years or more... you cleaned the cooling modules in the meantime?
I think there is a lot of dust and debris inside the laptop and I think that keeps air from traffic and therefore fans run faster.
Try the compressed air jet that should help to remove dust and debris.

    Good luck

  • M3201desktop CPU heatsink/fan runs very fast to boot the system.

Hi I have a desktop Aspire m3201 and I straightened the pins of the processor as directed by my first original post and I also fixed the heatsink / cpu fan who had a broken wing.

Now when I boot the p.c.the HSK/fan works at very high speed, so I had to turn off the c.p.

I would really appreciate help on this problem.

  • Satellite P750 - after update BIOS CPU fan runs faster

    Hi all

    On my Satellite P750 (PSAY3A - 02L 001)

Since I've updated my BIOS to version 2.40, I noticed that the CPU fan runs much faster then normal.

Even more, when I go in options inside BIOS configuration, saving it comes up with "an invalid entry.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Know a way to solve this problem?

In General, old BIOS is not available when one is offered on Toshiba new download page.
If you have older version of BIOS try to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can get the ld for you version.

By the way: have you tried to change the power settings for the cooling method and less upgraded?
This should reduce the activity of fan cooling.

  • iMac 27 "mid-2011 - Intermittent problem with CPU fan running at full speed and sleep mode.

    Hello!

My iMac 27 "has an intermittent problem with the CPU fan runs at full speed. Sometimes it happens at the time when I start it, sometimes only in my session, and sometimes only after a certain time. So does seem to be a problem of "heating".

Second issue is with the mode 'sleep'. It may occur also at any time, at the start of the iMac, session, or after a certain time. But once he starts to go in mode 'sleep', when I wake up, it goes right back in mode after a few seconds and that it will continue indefinitely until I restart the computer.

    What could be?

  • Satellite A500-025 - optical drive runs very fast and makes the laptop

    Just bought PC toshiba A500-025.

When I put in some disc in the optical drive, it runs very fast and makes the phone vibrates.

I was told that there is a toshiba utility that detects an imbalance in the disc and slows down the speed of the drive, but I don't know where to find this software utility.

    Hello

I think you mean the acoustic silencer
As I remember, such tool was available for some laptops with pre-installed Win XP or Vista.
For example; the acoustic silencer was available for some of the Satellite A200 and you could download this on the European driver Toshiba page.

  • I have 4 GB of RAM, but when my i play any game, my CPU fan runs at high speed and my system gets shut down within minutes.

I have 4 GB of RAM, but when my i play any game for example NFS most wanted, my CPU fan runs at high speed and my system gets shut down within minutes. Help me solve this problem

If you overclocked?  If so, cancel that.  If the games you play are poorly written, it is not that you can do about it.  If you have not cleaned the dust and lint from your computer within a certain time, you should do that because it accumulates and causes overheating.  For desktop computers, remove the cover and carefully use compressed gas to blow off the dust, especially around the fins in the processor heat sink and air ducts.  For a laptop, I'll ring gas compressed through the ventilation openings.

    Good luck.

  • Satellite R830 - 10 c fan always run very fast

    Hello

I just erased the hard drive and reinstalled all CD recovery disc. The only additional software that I installed is windows office 2010.

I have read other discussions on the fan and changed the setting to colling under voltage of the battery and I've updated the BIOS. I don't think I have the recognition of the fingerprint software installed only face.

However fan works always very very fast all the time. Processor, which is an i3 2310 @2. 10 GHz, around 30% and 50% of RAM is bieng used approximately 2.04 GB.

IEXPLORER uses more CPU and RAM to all about 02-05 looking at the Task Manager and about 482 000 K memory. I have 92 processes. System Monitor is running the most discussion, 145 under resources. I don't know what this means, but the blue line on the chart of the CPU in the resource manager is always upward at 100% outside the odd dip to 95%.

Anyone with any ideas or solutions, it would be much appreciated!

    Thank you

It is a known issue with McAffe. Remove this preinstalled trial version will reduce CPU activity and automatically cooling fan runs much quieter. I put t know what antvirus you use now but with Avira antivir, you'll be happy.

  • My hard drive begins to randomly run very fast, then everything is locked, and I have to push the power button to shutdown and restart the CPU

I use a desk top of HP 5 year, running Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade from Vista.

Im not 100% sure what you mean but I think you mean the fans come on fast?

If it is then you probably have a dust build up inside your PC or something that hampers the movement of air.
HP desktop computers are usually fairly easy to check inside, usually a handful or a pliers to remove the top cover or side (there may be one or two screws on the back), once you have it you can see the fans and just check if there is dust covering the front Grill , rear grille and the heatsink. You can use a small accessory vacuum cleaner to do this, just be careful not no knock all components.
If you don't want you may damage whatever it is then if you have a friend or relative who knows a little bit of PC you could ask them to check it out.
Usually, dust accumulates in areas where are fans which reduces the airflow in your PC and can make the fans rotation and your pc run slow / lock up.
  • Satellite M30X-129: CPU fan runs constantly after new XP Pro re - install

I just installed a new Samsung 120 GB drive in my M30X-129, an upgrade of the 60 GB IBM drive with what it was originally provided.

Tried ghost XP Home installation of the old drive to the new - but it didn't work for some reason, installation, attached to a page with the "Windows XP" logo on it...

So, I installed XP Pro with SP2 from scratch on the new drive.

After having done that, I then installed the Toshiba and utils drivers listed for your laptop:

    NES http://UK.Computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK&mode=allMachi & action = search & teddProduct = 555

The problem I have is that the fan runs at full speed all the time - this isn't the case with the old installation of XP (was rare for it to come on at all when slowed down in the office - running full bore 100% of the time)

Research by and try a few suggestions:

-J' installed the common Utils from Toshiba
-J' installed the Toshieba power management - and set the fan speed to ' Silent' has ', but that doesn't seem to have any effect.

Any suggestions? for example. where I get the latest versions of the applications?

The noise of the fan slowly leads me to the top of the wall...

    Ben.

    Hello Ben

If you have installed your own OS and Toshiba designed drivers, tools and utilities, I assume that this problem cannot be software. I'm really not 100% sure why the fan always runs at full speed but Satellite M30X is around 2 years and I guess it's time to clean up. The second thing can be your new HARD drive.
It is also possible that new HARD drive produce more heat and sensors to register it and don t stop the cooling fan.

I recommend you to professionally cleaned the unit and remove any dust inside the unit. I'm pretty sure that cooling fan does not work at all times.

Also try to put the laptop into a slightly higher position (if possible at the back) and on this brand more interspace between the bureau and the cooling grill fan in the lower corner of your laptop.

  • CPU fan run full speed constantly

I bought a Pavilion Elite m9510f liquidation of Circuit City a week and half ago. Big mistake... because I can't look upon return, but anyway. The compters CPU right at full speed, the box fan works all the time. When I call the technical support they had me check the connection of the fan to the motherboard and set power options to save energy. Problem still exists. They had me also pull the video card to be sure it wasn't this fan, but it was not. They tried to tell me that this is normal... No way should the CPU fan spin full speed all the time. I have no patients must remember and discuss with them righ now since I spent 3 hours on tech support Saturday for a new LAN card wireless, sent me. ERRRR.

    Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I downloaded Speedfan to check my cpu core temp and it all say core 4 times are are hormaux 35 c or lower. So I don't think that I have an overheating problem.

Your pc has 2 BIOS updates. 5.32 5.35 second updated and contains a fix for the problems of your siding.

  • Fan runs so fast on Satellite A300D

    Hello world!

    My machine's Satellite A300D 17-F with Vista!
For a long time, it was a problem that is on the HARD drive because of the bad sectors. I guess that I solved it with a program called blast4 maxtor. I've implemented it to xp sp3 and it became faster.
But fan! Fan does not work so fast :) I try power saver driver but it was not configured.

    What can I do?

If you want to slow forward speed replace cooling method option min level.
This option, you can find in the Toshiba power saver tool.

  • The fan runs very often one a Tecra A6

    Hello
I have a Tecra A6, about a month. I updated the BIOS yesterday to 2.60 and after that the fan works with intervals of 15 seconds. I don't know if it s the update of the BIOS that causes, but it was not there before... Anyone with the same problem? Can I go back to the old BIOS? If 'yes', how should I do?

    / Axel

    Hello

May I ask why you updated the BIOS?
Have you had problems or what?

I think it s not necessary to update the BIOS if the laptop works properly.
But of course, it of possible to downgrade the BIOS if you find the previous version of the Bios. But as far as I know on the Toshiba page you will find only the latest version of the BIOS. :(

But have you tried changing the settings in the Toshiba power saver?
What about the BIOS settings? Are there options CPU or fan?
