My driver uninstall
I uninstall the driver from my CD-DVD-ROM and restart my computer and once it is restarted, a message pops up saying "driver install", but as soon as it starts to install guard saying cannot install, I need help.

You should go to the manufacturers website and see if you can download the software from there. Since you have not provided any information (make and model) it really not much I can do.

Hello Gene,
You can try to perform a startup repair and see if it helps. You can check if your system has the integrated system recovery option to perform the Startup Repair. You can check in the advanced boot option to see if you have an option to fix the computer to perform the Startup Repair.

If this isn't the case, you have a Vista installation disk to perform the same.

Wireless driver uninstalled itself, computer laptop cannot detect WIFI
My wireless driver seems to have uninstalled itself. The blue WIFI LED indicator does not illuminate either. How to reinstall the driver without the disc? Someone's done it before, but I don't know how, and they are no longer available to help.

A program can be copied to an external drive, uninstalled and reinstalled using the file?
It was my understanding that after you uninstall a program, it is not possible to recover the files 'installation' disappeared, and you must re-download it. However, I copied the program files (except Program Files (x 86)) of a game on an external hard drive and then uninstalled the game. All that remained was the shortcut. I then copy - paste the external hard drive program files in the Program Files (x 86) folder on my computer, double click on the shortcut and it worked fine.
So if I had to wipe my hard drive after copying my WHOLE Program Files (x 86) folder, could I then put back on and all my programs would work? Help, please.Hello
Lol that is only a few minor, mainly previous games in XP, etc, that you could do with.
Normally, programs need to be reinstalled from the original media (CD, DVD, etc.)
When you install a program, its files are not normally only put into the folder programs, but they are distributed in all the operating system, in the registry and in conjunction with other program files so that they can work together, if necessary.

Other posts on this forum, I understand that it is safe to uninstall this driver if it is not in use. Unfortunately, I can't find. I looked in Device Manager (there are two other devices Texas Instruments listed - or one has the correct device name). I also looked in programs and features and menu of start-up of sysconfig with no luck.
My computer was crashing regularly about 10 minutes after waking up from hibernation. My hope is that this driver uninstall will fix the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It seems that the "Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Integrated FlashMedia Controller" device is the device you are looking for (the first two digits in 8 x 12, 7 x 12 and 6 x 12' is reduced to a "xx12' in the name of the device for simplicity). Try to disable it and see if your problem is solved.
Note: This device looks like it controls a card reader. It is a decive integrated on your CPU, where the floppy drive which reads flash memory cards (for example: SD card, Memory Stick, xD card, etc.).

drive external hard crash panic kernel freeze and reboot
Hi, I write because I just had a problem with my external hard drive.
I have connected to my macbook pro to my external drive (raid 2 disc 0, 3 to, usb 3.0, western Digital, it appears as if it were 1 disk 3.5 "). I used this drive yesterday and several other times without any problem. I don't know why all of a sudden I saw the message on the upper right of the screen with the alert ' you incorrectly disconnected the disk XX "(is a kind of translation bc my os is in Italian) and after that the screen and the pointer of the mouse (with the ball of the Rainbow) stopped as if it were freezing. After a few seconds, black screen and the system rebooted! That's happened?
I tried again, this time with another external drive, samsung 1 TB usb 3.0. After only a few minutes it was connected... the same thing. Message on the upper right corner, gel, black screen, restart... Below you can see the log of 2 crash.
That's happened? HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

NVIDIA graphics here.
If there is some sort of problems with the installation of this file, try compability mode. How all the information here.
2. Modded Nvidia drivers 186.82 worm.
How to install under Vista:
1. Download driver here, double click and select Extract.
2 download site with the drivers also modified INF and replace original INF in extracted folder,.
3 install and reboot.Before installing any new graphics driver uninstall older driver.

Satellite M40X - big problems with Sims 3 - help with disk drives!

I recently bought the sims 3 and unfortunately an error message appears saying "Disk authentication failure" I noticed after calling EA games and reading through many forums that there was a problem evident with laptops Toshiba and their ability to play the sims 3 (disk DLA).
I did like the forums all recommended, and I have disabled the DLA drive, uninstalled the sims and restarted the computer. Not only could I not play the sims or re - install, but my computer did not recognize even the hard drive, he kept saying 'bad volume' etc.
I got the sims on the computer and then re-enabled the DLA drive, causing my computer to close and show a major error on a blue screen.I then turned the computer back on, and it does not recognize the disc sims 3 more... It recognizes the other placed disks in the cd-rom drive... But now when I put the sims 3 in the player and enter my computer to open it it tells me to insert a disc into the cd player...
My questions are the following...
A.) how can I get my hard drive to recognize the disc sims being in the drive
(B) once this problem is solved, how can I go about installing and using the sims 3 without disabling the DLA, which proved detrimental drive.
(C.) other problems with computers laptop toshiba have turned around an individual driver... Metisha or something? My driver's - VOB COMPUTERSYSTEME GMHB
Or something to that effect, which means that it has nothing to do with the DLA drive.For the person who can help me, that would be so so appreciated...

DVD drive does not write - Satellite M40X-175
Im having a problem with my dvd. I tried to burn my movies, music and my files on a dvdr or cdr, I tried DVD - RW and CD - RW but I do it every time gives error "d:\ is not accessible incorrect function". but when I try to watch a dvd movie or use my music cd, it does not work. He reads. Does this mean that my dvd drive cannot be read and not write?

Satellite M40X sounds new enough to have CDs of feature writing. Seems to me a HW question but you can try:
1 - Clean the blank CD with a cloth dry
2 - blow to the goal and do not forget that there is no dust
3. you can uninstall the driver from
-> Panel-> system-> hardware-> Device Manager-> DVD - RAM-> (right click) properties--> driver uninstall-> restarting your laptop.If they do not contribute, you can contact a Toshiba authorized Service partner. The drivers you need are under driver-graphics.
IF you have switchable graphics, you need one; If not, you need the other.

The link (atheros.cz) you provided has the same problem. However, I found solutionon the below mentioned link. He was the pilot I needed and it worked! No both my cable and internet connections don't work.
SOLUTION: Downloaded the driverscape.com driver, double-click to open, double-click on the appliction of installation file, select the option repair the installation, and then follow the prompts. Restart the computer after installation. Mine worked.
