  Hello!

  As the title indicates, none of my executables will open his; on the contrary, when I click on an icon or similar function (as in the start menu), I'm inclined to the screen 'open with... ». This time, I went and deleted all accounts and checked to ensure that it is not at all. After getting rid of the virus, it's the same thing: none of my .exe files will open without using the monitor "open with...". ». I'm not really sure what action to take from here, I have not done much to remedy the situation, and I'm going right through the screen of "open with...". "to get to what whatever - so any suggestions or help would be very appreciated.

  You want to use F11 to access the option to restore it if your hidden partition has been deleted. Otherwise if the hidden partition is gone, you can buy the restore disc to restore your system to factory-installed.

  I have a usb data acquisition module, it is USB 2408-2AO of MC. I order the module with a VI and it works very well. I used the Application Builder to create an exe of the VI. The exe works great too, but only on my own computer and not on other computers.

  I already made the other screws's exe files and never had any problems to run the exe on other machines. I also tried to do an installation of the VI program and not just a stand-alone application, but once again the final application does not work. The application runs without problem on the target computer, no errors are displayed, but it just does not control the USB module as it should. I think the problem is that the builder Application does not include al screws required in the installation program, particularly MC devices to control the USB device. I tried to manually choose the screws, but it seems that everything is included... I am sure that the problem is the USB device, as I did other exe files and they all work very well (but they do not control the USB device) on other machines.   If you can access the internet somehow, if you are using Vista, go to http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/reset-and-fix-broken-windows-vista-file-ext-and-type-associations-include-exe-com-sys-zip-lnk-folder-drive/ and scroll to the EXE and click or double-click it to run the program to restore EXE file associations. Once done, do the same for LNK entry. That should restore your programs. If you are using Windows 7, go to http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html . If you are using XP, go to http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm.

  If no internet access, copy the appropriate reg entries to a flash drive on another computer, transfer to Office the 'bad' computer to and run them from there to make the changes.  Reboot and you should be good to go.

  Just in case there are persistent pieces of malware here is the method of complete elimination.

  Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

  The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.

  CTRL SHIFT ESC - task manager OR right click on the taskbar - task manager

  Process tab - complete the process on AV. EXE and continue with the uninstall Guide.

  If necessary use start - computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to

  You will need to rename regedit.exe to regedit.com (my computer-> tools-> option-> view file-> remove tickmark to "Hide extension for known file types"-> ok-now right click on local disk C:\WINDOWS\ online search of regedit.exe rename regedit.com).

  Then click on Start-> Run Type &-> Regedit-> ok.

  Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command
  (you will have to press on + to achieve order)

  Now, double-click default slot right windows and then change the value in this box for '%1' % *.

  Repeat the same for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command

  Close regedit, restart your pc and check if its working.

When I open a file of the bridge in Photoshop and then make changes to the PS and save, the file is not listed in the file/open recent... list or in the new interface that lists recent files. All files opened directly from PS work correctly but the bridge open files are not listed.
