When I try to open streets and trips 2011, I thought that the registry files are not correct.

HI, I keep trying to install streets and trips 2011 on my Windows 7 computer.  The installation files say it is installed correctly but when I try to open, I get an error message that the registry files are not correct. Must re-run Setup. It is a brand new program that I just bought.  What is going on?
