• When I click to open thunderbird but the e-mail window does not appear until the icon shows the app closed, how to fix this?

  To start thunderbird, I click on the quick start on my toolbar icon, it highlights that if beginner, then a few seconds later, returns to the closed state. No e-mail window never appears on the screen. When I check the Task Manager, thunderbird does not appear in the list of running applications, but one or two processes show running on the Details tab (one first process by clicking on the icon, and then another if I right click and try to open one of the windows in option). How can I get the windows thunderbird appears on the screen again? If I can't, please send the instructions to backup all the associated email and address profile information so I did not lose anything... then uninstall and reinstall thunderbird and restore all the info related to my current profile.   Thanks for the reply... still not sure what happened, but I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling bird t. Everything is back to normal after that. So your solution can work, but I don't have the chance to try it. My solution, but is not ideal, was effective and the problem was solved.

  Try turning off the GPU. Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance (Lightroom > preferences > Performance on a Mac) and uncheck the box use Graphics Processor.
