  Virus definitions are what anti-virus programs to clean your system, is not a program but the data used to remove viruses. Looks like you don't have an anti-virus program. Please download Microsoft Security Essentials and install the program. That you will get the virus.

  Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

  The 2.4 GHz band is much stronger that the 5 GHz band, the iMac won't to connect at 5 GHz, unless it is in the same room or very close to the time Capsule. The reason is that Mac get the strongest... not the fastest signal signal.

  If this isn't in the same room as the time Capsule, how walls, ceilings or other obstacles are there in the path of the direct signal between the iMac and Time Capsule?

• SRM protected LUN and RecoverPoint replicated Lun

  We run VMware SRM 5.0 and RecoverPoint 3.4 SP2.  Running 5.0 ESXi and vCenter 5.0. The problem that we get and the VMware SRM and EMC RP support response are conflicting with each other.  Our SRM failover process failed because the DR replicated LUNs was not detected during the scan HBA.  VMware support said that the replicated LUN doesn't have to be added to the storage of VMware on our VNX5300 (DR) group.  Logic unit number is added to the storage PR group.  SRM/RP will present the LUN in VMware as part of the SRM failover process.  EMC, tells us that the replica LUN must be present in VMware and storage of RP group.

  The failover process does not end until we added the LUNs replicated in the VMware storage group.  However, we have tested previously other SRM protected LUNS and this has never been necessary.  Can anyone provide specific details on RecoverPoint requirement to add the LUNS replicated in the VMware storage group?

  EMC is correct!  The target of replication LUNS must be in a group of storage with your hosts ESXi on the VNX for a test to run successfully.  I'll usually create a storage for a VMware cluster group, add LUN replication target and leave them there.  Of course, the Group of storage for all data, journal and repository LUN RecoverPoint must also exist with all the Rwandan Patriotic Army.

  That's what I have:

  iMac 27 "mid-2011. He had on El Capitan.

  This iMac contains two hard drives and drive superdrive.

  A disc is 256 GB SSD and the other a regular 2 TB internal HARD drive.

  As SSD is faster that I keep my OS X and programs on this SSD drive, all the other stuff like photos, music, documents, are put on the classic 2 TB HDD.

  Everything was going well until the installer has discovered that the SSD did not have a sufficient space to install. I quit the installer, the option pop up, I called "Startup Volume" has chosen my SSD and restarted it. Has been 2 attempts, if I'm not wrong, but worked. I killed and moved the files, I think now would be enough disk space on my SSD tried the Sierra ad install again.

  --> Attempt II:

  This time Sierra Installer arrived at the stage language choose where he welcomed and asked to choose the language. The next screen it tells me once again: not enough space, the bigger internal drive offers enough, but I don't want that.
