  I have a Macbook Air in 2010 and also a 2008 iMac - both with only 4 GB of memory (you have twice as much), both running El Capitan and the two with SSD - and perform very well.   Yes, the new laptops support nearly all commercially available solid player. Evo and Samsung Pro are popular models these days. Samsung has also have use for the migration from the old hard drive to the solid disk.

  HP does not currently have drivers for Windows 8. You probably won't need them. Windows 8 is not coming. It's here!

  Just do the installation on a spare hard drive and bring the original HARD drive to a safe place.

  . Windows 8 has drivers built in for most laptops and desktop computers. I did have to look for a driver in two facilities. One was an HP mini and the other was a Toshiba laptop.

  Your Athreos has never connected? If it has connected then it not only connects it to insecure networks? Also after can trying to connect you do the following?

  Start, run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:

  Type the following command:

  IPCONFIG/ALL

  [Note that there is no space between the oblique and ALL bar].

  Right click in the command window and choose Select all, and then press ENTER.

  You should be able to press this button and install the toolbar.

  The message is that you install an add-on that is not the official firefox add-ons site. That's fine, but firefox is just warn you that it happens. Without that WARNING malicious websites would be able to install the modules without your knowledge. It's just a check to ensure that you had intended to install an add-on.
