• SWF files do not load properly more...

  I maintain a site with many tutorials online (www.edutorials.gr) I save with various desktop recording software and export to swf format. These last few months some of these tutorials will not load properly and freeze after a few seconds.

  • These tutorials of swf originally played ok (a few months ago)
  • The other swf tutorials continue to play ok
  • I used the same software to save and export to swf format most of the tutorials for the site
  • I tried to open the problematic SWFs with different browsers and flash players (both online and locally in my pc) and they are always the same
  • Is here (http://edutorials.gr/drupal-admin-settings1) a SWF which freezes and
  • Is here (http://edutorials.gr/gimp-fire-smoke) another one that continues to behave ok

  Any ideas why this happens? I don't have a clue

  Can you revert to the original .fla and make a new .swf and use it then?

  I met some difficulties loading reCAPTCHA. I tried on several different websites and none of them does not load correctly. Instead of the simple box captcha, I get a captcha like the image. It's unsolvable, because it does not display the button check. I tried to start in safe mode, disabling all my plug-ins, clearing cache/cookies, changing http to https and vice versa Web sites and disabling and then re-enabling javascript (Yes it is enabled).   Cschrader81 didn't mention 403 error I believe his question happens due to a bug of specific know-how Business hosting of catalyst. Bug has been fixed on site and will post a fix soon for the same thing.

  In the meantime, please go to file > Site Properties > advanced > uncheck the box "enable editing in the browser" and download it BC.

  Once the fix is available, you can still activate this option.

  I would like to know if it does not fix the issue.

  A simple solution that worked for me was to do a restore of the system when the system was working. This gives you a working flash player... Then don't update flash player, but you can update firefox.

  You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  I use Win 7 64-bit version edition + Acrobat Reader DC (with the last update patch)

  Problem:

  1 / when I open a PDF file (from local hard drive, click directly on the PDF file), the document shows empty at the beginning, but the content will be begins to reappear (or flashing) when I started to scroll to the top & low... and finally, a message appears and says "Acrobat Reader DC has stop responding.

  2 / OK, so I tried to open Acrobat Reader first (direct click on the desktop icon), the Acrobat Reader window will load (or seem to) as usual. However, all displays by default.

  -The 'Home' (assumed to be in the middle of the window) menu is empty. Move the pointer across it does not help.

  -The column "icon" (below the menu bar) is empty. When I say white, I mean its totally blank icons, not even grey are show.

  -The "menu bar" appears correctly at some point. However, once I've moved my the mouse pointer over the menu bar, the menu (file |) Change | View etc...) disappear and does not appear. I can always click on the "menu" but the drop to the bottom of the box and the options (like files... etc) are still 'completely' white

  Action performed:

  -J' I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the CD player, does not help.
