Sometimes windows will not load properly

Have Windows 7 on a laptop. Most of the time (not always) when opening upward he says "Windows has been closed in anticipation and I don't know why! I stopped it the same way every night - sometimes it loads well and sometimes it doesn't. I have to perform the function 'Fix' & then is functioning normally.

Can anyone help? As you can no doubt tell, am not very computer.
Thank you... Jaki

Unfortunately, I can't say why this happens and what's wrong with your laptop. I also put t know since when you noticed this problem but if you know date when he started making trouble to try roll back BONES at the earlier time.

You can do it by using System Restore tool. Start Windows in safe mode and do.

If the problem is still there let us know.

This is an Acerdocument to help you reinstall Windows Vista from the recovery hard disk partition. Through their website, if you are unable to reinstall from the partition, you will need to recover using a disc.

  • Error 17-Windows will not load past the splash screen, and system repair has no effect...

Hi all, my problem is the following. Off my laptop the night before, an upgrade has been installed as usual. However, when I tried to start my computer the next day, I was meeting with a choice of operating systems, one was vista and one was something called "openSUSE 11.2 installer (NET).» Of course I wanted to choose vista, but when selected has been sent to a screen that read (sorry for the amount of the entry).

    Start "openSUSE 11.2 installer (NET)".

    (hd, 1)

Specifien type is ntfs, partition type 0 x 7

    /openSUSe/ kernel linux devfs = mount, dall ramdisk_size = 65536 = ftp install: //ftp4.g wdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/ server = ftp4.gwdg.de lang = en splash silent vga = 0x31A

    Error 17: File not found

I don't know much about this sort of thing, so he thought better to include everything I could. At first, I tried to reload Vista, but it just opened the same screen, so found the vista disc that came with the laptop and it is stuck in. I ran sytem repair and system restore and both have had no effect.

I'd appreciate any help is sorting this point, but if I have to reinstall vista (what I hear the hard disk wipes), is it possible to backup all my files to be reintergrated later.

    Thanks for any help!

After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.

Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  • Sometimes, windows does not start immediately

original title: BOOT XP PRO PROBLEM

I have Win XP Pro. Sometimes windows will not start immediately. I try to restart sometimes on 10 times or more, but not always, a lot. Suddenly, windows will be open on one of the trys. I always try to "last good" and "start windows normally".  Windows sometimes opens on either of these orders. It's annoying, but windows never fails to open later. Sometimes, there is no problem with it open.  I have read and checked the material, and they work properly he said. I'm not a computer technician, so I'm very careful about what get involved with. Anyone has an idea on how I can fix this? I don't want to repair or reinstall XP, because I've done this before, but this problem seems to persist much matter what I do.

  • Windows does not load on a Satellite A350 with 500 GB Seagate external HARD drive

There is a problem with this laptop, A350-043 running Vista Edition Windows Home Premium 64 bit, part number: PSAL6C - 04S 015

In other words: when it is connected to a 9NK2AL-510 SEAGATE 500 GB SATA DRIVE EXTERNAL USB (s/n: 5QG1YH1E) Windows will not load, it will up to and gel just before the green movement of the bar. If the USB cable is released and handed over in a second, Windows continues to load normally and all is well.

Otherwise, the operating system will have up to 15 minutes to load. Looking in the BIOS features, there is no option to boot from USB available, so it can not be disabled. I have updated the BIOS of Toshiba to the latest version without any change in this issue.

I tested and confirmed that the problem persists no matter what USB port is used.
The external drive is fully functional, and there is no error or problems with it loading Windows. I reported this problem to Seagate so that Toshiba in the hope that a solution can be offered on this, but has not heard back on anything either yet.

Do you mean that the laptop needs 15 minutes to load the Windows operating system, even if the external HARD disk is not connected?
It sounds weird, and I doubt that this can be related to any software problem

First of all, you should check the boot order in the BIOS the USB should be set at the last or last position.
Second, you should check if the same problem persists even after a fresh install of the OS in some cases, that the start-up procedure could be affected due to the process software and installed background.

But if the new installation of the operating system is not enough and if the issue persists then I guess a hardware problem (motherboard?) could be the reason for that and, therefore, a technician of the laptop must be contacted!

    That s in my opinion
