My internet didn't load any website of microsoft, but when I navigate to other sites such as yahoo, google appears...
Every time I open my internet browser and the homepage is microsoft.com it says there is network problem but when I change the web address it in yahoo.com or google.com page display. Another thing I use microsoft security essential that my anti-virus, but unfortunately, it is not updated. It is said that there is problem with the internet connection.
This is almost always due to malware. I highly recommend you download and run a specific tool that scans for an infection if not almost undetectable, known as the TDSS or Alureon root kit. I found that it is the cause the most frequent recent inability to access MS, although not the only possible one. Most antivirus programs including Microsoft Security Essentials (which is good in all) generally do not detect this and, if found, can not remove it.
It should also download and run Malwarebytes

Hello
Firefox does not load any website in a proper way. It loads the website, but not in an appropriate manner. It loads in the good column.
Another website are load appropriately.
Can you help me solve this problem?Thank you
You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:
You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.
- Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
- Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
- Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)
Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.
'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:
- Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

Firefox has become very slow. It takes a lot of time to load any website. I reinstalled FF but the rest of the problem.
As a test, I downloaded Chrome and it is much faster.
But I love FF and would be very happy if you can help me solve this problem.Hi Reos,
When you reinstall Firefox it always uses your old profile with all the old things that you had. That said, you're lucky, there is a new feature that lets you "Reset" of Firefox. This will remove some of the pieces that might cause problems while it keeps your bookmarks and other important things safe.
Check it out and let me know if it works: Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules

Firefox won't load any websites at all
I have been using Firefox for a while more, as IE 10 would not work for me, but a few days ago Firefox has stopped working all together. I click Firefox and everything that happens is that it loads a new tab, and it has a blank page without web address. If I type in a web address, it "charge" for a fraction of a second and is still a blank page. I uninstalled and reinstalled and did not work. I have also reset Firefox, and it does nothing except that I get a useless toolbar. I have no Chrome, but IE works fine for me because I've downgraded to IE 9. I prefer Firefox, as it is a bit faster and more simply organized. Is there anything else I can try to solve this problem?
It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Why Firefox has randomly decided not to load any website?
On the eve of my problem was triggered, everything worked perfectly well. Today, as I turned it on my computer loaded up Firefox, I was greeted with "unable to connect, Firefox cannot connect to www.whatever.com. No Web site at all, no matter a secure site (https) and normal Web page or same Mozilla.org would be responsible. Yet another browser can. I have torn the support page seeking a solution and I really tried all suggested (clear all cookies, history, etc., remove and add new Firefox in the list of reliable in the firewall Windows, uninstall programs, deleting the Firefox in Program Files folder, then reinstall). Norton has been disabled even when Firefox was working, so he couldn't possibly be interfering. No update for the browser, my computer or anything else has produced recently, or if I downloaded all the malicious files.
I could not possibly express how frustrating it is and any help would be appreciated very much.
Windows 8
Firefox 27.0.1I understood everything. It turns out that Norton was blocking all programs on the web on my computer as it has been disabled. I knew that Firefox would not let me down! I will continue to use the best browser in the world!

I keep having to go back to 11. Supposedly 12 should be faster. Instead, it takes minuets to load each Web site. I tried several beta versions of 13 with the same problem.
Have you tried a new profile for version 13 of Firefox?
Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.
See:
You can try the portable version of Firefox that comes with its own profile folder.
You can install multiple versions of Firefox via a custom of different installation folders Setup.
Do a custom installation and install each version in its own folder in program using several versions of Firefox.
Make sure you do not start Firefox after installation is complete.
Create a new profile exclusively for each version of Firefox.
Create a shortcut on the desktop with Pei 'profile' attached to the target to launch each version of Firefox with its own profile. -
Entering a URL in the address bar and pressing on enter does nothing. Or the 'enter' key or 'address arrow bar', to go to the site function. Web site does not load and no error message appears. 'Enter' key works very well in the FF and IE search box, is not my keyboard.
Tried most of the recommended fixes under the "Error loading websites" article with the exception of "DNS refetching", as typing "about:config" in the location bar does no good as the "enter button" won't function. I've removed and re-added FF back into the windows firewall, removed ZoneAlarm from my system, edited proxy settings, deleted and reinstalled FF several times. NOTHING WORKS!!! I'm a die hard FF fan and this is KILLING me. Please HELP!!!
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

IE loads websites very well. I tried all the suggestions of the knowledge base articles, including checking the proxy settings, editing about: config and booting in safe mode; which none have solved the problem.
Tools > Options > advanced > network
In connection settings, select use "the system proxy settings" and see what happens.

Firefox cannot load any websites
Regardless of the site, I try to open, I get the same message: a large part of Chinese, Timeout, and "the cache could not resolve the host name in the URL.
Check if the address is correct." Link to a picture below. I've reinstalled Firefox twice, started in safe mode, disabling all plugins, but nothing seems to work. Internet Explorer works perfectly fine.

cannot print from any website on firefox, but can print from the internet explore
When I'm on firefox and try to print something from nothing, like amazon, my aol or my server secure messaging or other, it does not print. But if I use Internet Explorer, I can print from anything. This just started happening
Hello ellenharper,
Many printing problems can be solved by turning off the print preferences in topic: config. Here's how:- Entered on: config in the Firefox address bar and press ENTER. Click I'll be careful, I promised to continue.
- In the text filter box, type print.
- Right click on each remaining parameter, and then select reset.
Try to print again and see if the problems still happen!

A video on any website is presented in double, one on the other!
Every time I want to see a video, any site, it is case, the screen, the video is on, shows two images from the video. Basically, the video is condensed into two, one above the other, making them wider, but I don't know why he show two!
This appears to have happened after the last update of Adobe Flash Player. Could be a compatibility issue with Firefox, because the problem does not appear in Internet Explorer. Have not yet tried all other browsers.
For me, it seems that the two images that appear are similar to those used in the manufacture of 3D movies, but instead view overlap them, they are displayed separately. It's just a wild guess and I have no evidence to back this up.
PS: I also use Firefox 3.6.13 Windows XP.
Later edit: I found a work around for this problem. Right-click on any incorrect display video and choose settings. On one of the tabs found there is a checkbox "enable hardware acceleration". It has been activated for me, after having stopped it and restart the video browser was back to normal.

Can load Google, but "Failed to connect" to other sites
I use Firefox with Mac OS 10.5.8 10.0.2. Recently updated to Firefox. Now, Google charges by default page as before, but receive the following: "Unable to connect", "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server...". ». This is true for all sites.
Hi alwarner,
You can take a look at the difficulty of problems connecting to websites after update of Firefox and Firefox cannot load websites but other browsers may if you can open the site in Internet Explorer.
Hope this helps!

just when I go to a page, any page my 'bookmark this page' disappears. It is present on my start page which is the page of linux mint.
Thank you
NateIn Firefox current releases the menu entry 'Bookmark this Page' in the bookmarks menu changes to "Edit this bookmark" once you have bookmarked the page and the star on the Navigation bar is highlighted blue.
So do not get confused by the lack of 'Bookmark this Page' in the menu bookmarks and see "Edit this bookmark" instead if you try to bookmark a page that is already set bookmark.

There is no boxes displayed on this screen, but on my XP desktop, they are displayed. I have two open so I know where to type.
I installed Firefox on the virtual console XP on this machine and it worked fine, but not with Windows 7.
None of the posted similar questions on this forum suggestions worked.
