My iPhone 6 s suddenly sends messages text green instead of blue

I got my iPhone 6 s two days ago and he was sending text messages normally. I recently received a strange call on my phone number (602) 734-1007, and right after that my SMS all turned to the green instead of blue. I am people texting with iPhones and I have an iPhone, then it should just be blue and gray.

  • What are the details of sending messages text/SMS from computer?

I'm afraid that this question is a bit off topic, but I searched and searched and searched for information on how to send any text or SMS from my computer. I don't have a cell phone, but I am inclined to believe that I can send the text of my computer. I am particularly interested in sending text responses in places like surveys of Ed Schultz Show text. I do not understand how to address a message to send text. The Ed Schultz Show refers to a number ": 6222639", and an address "* address email is removed from the privacy *, then apply to the text an 'A' or a 'B'." I'm just confused. Please, someone give me a clue.

  • Texts now green instead of blue.

My texts are usually blue, but are now green when text message to a particular contact. Why is this?

In General, when the texts are blue, this means that you send iMessage. When it turns green, this means that you send sms, no iMessage.

    IMessage and SMS/MMS

You can use iMessage or SMS/MMS on the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

iMessages are text, photos or videos that you send to Mac and iOS devices via WiFi or cellular data networks. These messages appear in blue text bubbles. To enable or disable the iMessage, go to settings > Messages.

If you use no iMessage, you can use SMS. SMS/MMS messages are text and pictures that you send to other cell phones or iOS devices. These messages appear in bubbles of green text on your device.

To use SMS/MMS, you need a text messaging plan. Contact your operator for more information.

  • in the messages, why are some text blocks green and other blue?

  • I use iMessage to the text of my Macbook. For some reason, it will not let me send a text message to a particular group (everyone has iMessage/iPhones) to my computer, but works well on my iPhone. All messages always appear on my Macbook iMessa

I use iMessage to the text of my Macbook. For some reason, it will not let me send a text message to a particular group (everyone has iMessage/iPhones) to my computer, but works well on my iPhone. All messages always appear on my Macbook iMessage, but when I click in the conversation, no text box for me to write as he does with everyone. It's driving me crazy. How should I do? The two contacts are in my address book and identified on my computer but I can't their message from my computer and have to keep spending on my phone to text their return. Their new messages are always also highlighted on my computer. In the photo I've included, you can see there is no text box for the text of the group with "Franny, dad."

    Thanks for any help!

What happens if you start a new conversation with Franny & Dad from the IOW computer do not try to "catch" the conversation

Click on new message and put their names in there

If this does not work - remove the wire from the Mac and try again

  • iPhone 6 numbers of Message text from iOS10.0.2 update

I've just updated to iOS 10.0.2 and will now have questions, send and receive text messages to anyone who is not an apple product.  I tried all of the recommended patches (reset network, etc.), but have not been able to solve the problem.

    Hey dkcdec17,

Thank you for being a part of the communities of Apple Support.

If your iPhone is not able to send and receive SMS, then I suggest all initially that you do the following:

    1. Make sure that your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is updated to the latest version of iOS.
    2. If you have an iPhone or an iPad (Wi - Fi + cell), look for an update to the carrier settings.
    3. Check your network connection. To send a message as iMessage or MMS, you need to a cellular data or Wi-Ficonnection. To send an SMS message, you must have a cellular network connection. If you Call Wi - Fi enabled, you can send SMS messages via Wi - Fi. Contact your operator for more information.
    4. Check with your carrier to see if the type of message you're trying to send, such as MMS or SMS, is supported.
    5. If you try to send messages group MMS on an iPhone, activate the MMS messaging. If you do not see an option to enable MMS messaging or group on your iPhone, contact your operator.
    6. Make sure that you have entered the right phone number or e-mail address of the recipient.

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If the problem persists, then please contact your operator for additional troubleshooting.

Make sure that the text is on. You can do this on the keyboard (if you have several) by pressing and holding down the button to change between them.

Alternatively you can go to settings > general > keyboard and make sure predictive is turned on (the switch must be green).

If you see the image below, press the small white bar above the buttons T and Y and slide upward slightly.
