My iPod classic worked well yesterday, and now iTunes says that it was damaged. I restored it as suggested and now there is no music on my iPod, and I still get the same message "corrupted".

I've had my iPod for three years with no problems connected to a MacBook Pro. I'm so sad to see it working-I love this thing! Any help is appreciated!

Try to put the iPod in Disk Mode

Put the iPod in disk - Apple Support Mode

Launch iTunes and connect the iPod.  If iTunes picks it up, he may ask you to do a restore with a message on the "recovery."  Tell iTunes to perform the restore.  See if making the restoration of this way makes a difference.
