When I boot foxfire there is a message that foxfire is already open. Even after re-booting my computer, I still get the same message.
I have a Mac 10.4 and I tried to re - install foxfire with no luck.
Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

Please close Lightroom and then go to the following location in the Explorer: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets
Paste the predefined settings file in the location above, then try to open Lightroom and control the Module Development, if you are able to display Presets or not.

Cannot read the bridge cache
Tent for 3 days of bridge to work. I was told it could read cache - tired everything including deleting and reloading - still getting the same message. Computer restarted several times as well. Please help me I'm on a deadline. Bob
Let me guess: you're under Windows?
Have you tried a different cache folder location? Because Windows can limit the bridge to access the folder that you have now.

FAFSA is the form to fill out for financial aid for College. I need to fill out the form later for the spring semester of next year. Until I'm able to fill it in online and save and send to school. When I'm on the site and click on fill out a form, a message came that I didn't have the right version of my browser, so I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, and then restarted the computer and is returned to the site to try again and got the same message. Then I had two shortcut icons on my desktop and I can't say that one is for the latest version of Firefox.
When you download the latest version, it removes the last version that you had previously downloaded?Fafsa.gov site can't stand no more recent than the version of Firefox 3.6.x. It's their choice.

To run all the videos, it says I must upgrade to Adobe 11 something. It runs successfully, says I have it, so any video window opens by saying that I have to install update Adobe that I had just done. When I try to copy files to a CD, I get the message "Windows has encountered a problem when trying to copy this file." I press the button "Retry" without any result. When I boot my xp pro, I get "ntldr is missing, press control, alt, delete" I have 3 hard drives, and it's the same for everyone. I put in a cd of xp slipstream and changed the boot order so it starts on the cd. It's the only way it will start to my office. Without the cd, I get the error message. I tried to restore the files ntldr and ntdetect from the slipstream xp cd, but still not the same error. Thanks for any help.
I tried your suggestion when I realized that I had an external USB disk back to home. I unplugged the drive and XP then started normally. Hard to believe it was simple. I didn't even know the boot sequence to check the USB keys. This is one I will not forget. Also composed a floppy such BACK suggested for any future problems. Thank you. You people are great. I really appreciate your help. It's nice to have my computer back once again!
