My iPod Touch is not fully charge/Turn On

Hello

Not exactly what the iPod touch generation that was a gift from a friend in 2009.

Yesterday afternoon, I realized that it was completely out of charge, but do not plug in until early this morning.

I plugged the charger around 06:20 this morning and now (12:30), he does not always light on. It is clear to me that it is recognizing the power cord being plugged - it shows me the screen with the Red battery symbol and the symbol with the lightning and then back and forth between it and the logo apple - as he tries to start, but can't you make it quite there. I tried to do a manual restart, and it will pop up with the icon of Apple, usually for a long time - 5-10 minutes and then come back to do what he was doing before. I don't know if I should keep just to load and reload. I tend to spend long periods of load between the two, so I don't know, I ran the battery down a little, but usually it recharges fairly quickly - in an hour or two. And if I unplug the cord while the apple logo is at the moment, it is not closed immediately or whatever this is - it seems like there fee in there now. If I unplug it while the Red battery icon is in place, it will pop up with a screen asking to connect me Heck back in. Maybe I just need more patience?

Thanks for any advice you may have!

Are plug you into a wall outlet or a computer?

Plug it rather directly on the wall for 10-15 minutes and see if it boots. Sometimes the computer is not give it enough juice if the battery is completely dead and it needs more power. This can make the cycle of "reboot, restart, die, die" you see.

Maybe try another cable as well?

Good luck!

  • iPod Touch does not have 6th gen.

So my 6th generation iPod Touch decided to completely brick itself. It is quite insensitive, appearing by all measures to be extinct. It does not have to be plugged into a charger or computer. I tested with several threads to make sure that's not the problem. All the buttons do nothing, no matter how long they are kept pressed. I seem unable to force it to turn it on (or stop, if it's just particularly good at playing dead) and can't seem to do anything but keep papers.

I did not anything out of the ordinary to cause damage, so I don't see why it would be brick suddenly like that. I am running the latest iOS with the updates so far. As far as I can tell, it's just death. Everyone knows a similar problem or have any ideas on how to fix it?

I'll try to get to an Apple store this week, but I guess they'll just replace. This isn't really a solution to the problem here. The problem is... it's the second time that this happens. When I bought my 6th Gen, he bricked within 72 hours. It is a common thing with the Gen 6 iPods or am I cursed? I really do not have to replace my iPod every 3 months.

  • iPod Touch will not connect to iTunes

My iPod Touch will not connect to iTunes. When I connect it to my laptop with the cable my laptop USB recognizes the iPod begins to charge and 10 Windows asks me if I want to open it to view files, but it seems to treat it as a camera and I just want to know if I want to get pictures on it and on the laptop.

I made sure I have the latest software updates on the iPod and iTunes and thought this would fix the problem, but iTunes still does not recognize my iPod because it never appears on the Panel for me to sync things for her, etc.

How can I get my iPod to be recognized by iTunes again? Very recently, it stopped connecting.

  • My 1st generation iPod touch can not save on my iMac El Capitan but can to my MacBook Snow Leopard ' 08. Why the iMac think that the backup is corrupt?

Of course, I'm using my iMac El Capitan, but when I bought the music today and went to add to my iPod touch iTunes ended up freezing. Long story short, I could delete the files from the iPod but can not add one; Adding a single song led to suspended iTunes and the cancellation of the synchronization via the iPod of course makes no difference.

After going through all the rigamarole any attempt to delete all backups for iPod, both through preferences and in/Library/Application Support / MobileSync / Backup, I always had the same problem. I can't add music on my iPod via the iMac, nor can I save it there. Yes, I rebooted.

And so, after many tears, I pulled out my MacBook ' 08, who narrowly missed the cut for El Capitan and so still has Snow Leopard. And now my iPod backed up very well! (I cursed myself for not to copy previous backup before it was replaced, but hey.) They are all under the same Apple ID, so at this point, I'm simply redownloading all of my new purchases on the ol' MacBook ' so I can add it to the iPod... but how long this will be a viable solution? (I realize using products Apple since 2008 is an affront, but you've got to do what you do I do, and I don't currently have pocket for 32 GB change.)

So the question. Is there an incompatibility of software between my 1st generation iPod touch (3.1.3) and my iMac (El Capitan with iTunes 12.3.2.35 10.11.3)? Is there really a degree of corruption here than Snow Leopard with iTunes 10.6.8 11.4 (18) does not recognize?
