My ipod touch is unable to restore through iTunes on win 10 PC
My ipod touch 3 generation has suddenly stopped working. I connected to my PC to ITunes Win10 and it has detected an ipod in recovery mode. He has downloaded the software and started to do the restore but shortly after that the apple logo appears on the ipod, restoring failed and popup told me that the restoration has failed because of an unknown error.
Can anyone offer any help?
What was the full text of the error message? An error number is usually also give to say unknow error.

iPod Touch 4 G, 32 GB, BONE 6.1.6 help with iTunes on a computer Windows 10.
I restored it and restore selected backup from the Welcome to your new iPod screen. That seems to work, except that it takes back me to the Welcome screen. I tried choose "restore from backup" again, disconnection and reconnection of the iPod, iPod off the coast and back, restart the computer and put the iPod into recovery mode to force it to restore a second time. Whenever I plug in the iPod, it takes me to the Welcome screen. How do I get past the Welcome screen so I can sync the iPod?
Thanks for your help!

Do not restore sauvegardΘ yet. See if it works when the factory reset. It could be that there is corruption of the backup that is causing the problem.
S ' there is still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at an Apple store Genius Bar is in order.

IPod Touch not syncing with Itunes.
My sync brand new (just 3 months) Ipod Touch isn't exactly to my Itunes. When I try to drag a playlist of my Itunes to the Ipod Touch it says it's there. What is shown in my IPOD Touch to the computer is not the same as what is shown on my IPOD Touch real, i.e. all the playlists on my Itunes and my Ipod Touch are not displayed in my IPOD touch.
Try:
-Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost
Device iOS Reset: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to
ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Unsync/delete all the music and Resync
To remove all music go to settings > General > use > storage > managing storage > music > tap Edit in the top-right, then press the sign less than all music
-Reset all settings
Go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset all settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as your contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) are not affected.
-Restore from backup. See:
Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support
-Restore factory settings/new iOS device.

Black iPod touch screen, won't charge
Hey guys,.
So last night my iPod (5th generation) has been in charge. I pressed the home button to turn on the screen and the screen remains black, I pressed the power button as well as anything does not. I tried to do a hard reboot (hold power and the button "home" for more than 30 seconds) and the screen remains black. Now, it's hot when I try to load it. Help please.
Have you tried to restore through iTunes? Sometimes, it's what suits him. If this job down, I think you should talk to a representative from Apple online or a Genius Bar appointment at the Apple Store.

Windows 8 will not detect iPod Touch 2 generation
Hello!
My problem is I have an iPod Touch 2 gen and when I plug in windows cannot detect it. If I go to post work is not in the list, or if I go to Device Manager, it is still not detected not even in portable devices or controllers Bus USB, but the iPod is charging. It happened after a restored building and now I need to connect it to iTunes, but it does not work. I tried with Windows 7, 8 and 10, and I don't know what to do at the moment. My 5s iPhone works fine with the same computers.
Please help me, thank you
Greta
Hi Tom,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I understand that the iPod Touch 2 connects not with Windows 7, 8 or 10 and I will be happy to answer your query. Let me ask you;
- IPod Touch 2 appears in iTunes?
- You receive an error message?
This could be due to problem of incompatibility with iTunes. Given that iPhone 5s connects without any problems, you can refer to the suggestions provided by Apple in the link below.
iPod touch not appearing is not in iTunes
If the problem persists, I would ask that you check with Apple support.
Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

IPod Touch 5th generation being not found by Itunes and Windows 10
I have a 5th generation Ipod Touch - which until recently was fine until a month or two ago.
ITunes won't find is no longer my Ipod Touch and so the "sync" options do not come to the top.
My old laptop died, and I am now on windows 10.
I'm moving all my music files and have a sort out, but this has never been a problem before in the past.
I tried to get to Device Manager, Bus USB, etc. - controllers, but they all show that they agree.
Itunes troubleshooting 'Diagnostics' said me "No Ipod, Ipad, Iphone found"... tried as a result of the "HELP", but has so far achieved and then struggled...
any ideas before the Ipod touch brings unfortunate end?
Hey Msdefied,

Just updated to ios 9.2 (from 8 something) and my ipod touch is stuck at 'update of the iCloud parameters. I can not restore from iTunes because I have to disable "Find my iPod touch" first of all, and I can't do as the iPod is blocked with the message to update. Forcing a stop down does not work that for some reason, I am unable to turn off my iPod touch manually. I tried to turn off my wifi to see if that stops the iPod touch, but he always keeps on the message to iCloud. Do I just wait until the battery sinks so that it forces a reboot?
Place your iOS device into Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: I forgot the password or disabled device
If the recovery mode does not work, try the DFU mode.
