My laptop has been formatted - how restore factory settings?
I need a little help.
A few months back my laptop was really playing to the top would not load completely and kept showing the toshiba screen then shut off again.
In any case my moms friend offered to fix just did it worse.
He didn't just delete all my files, it has removed everything that came with the laptop, including wireless thing!
I managed to make wireless once again, but now I don't know what else to do.
I don't even have my factory setting to restore built more... and do not find it online anywhere.
What can I do?
Hello
Could you please send a model number of your laptop?
Usually, you can download all the drivers Toshiba and the tools of a Toshiba driver page.
But you can also order a for your model of laptop recovery disk.
If you are owner of European series for Toshiba laptop, the recovery disc can be ordered here:

I was fortunately sync-ed a year betweem my computer laptop Mac iBook and desktop HP - a lot of bookmarks - I am a student. My office had a small problem and I got it clean and reset to the factory settings. I'm now creating upward. I installed Firefox and made Google my default search engine. Then I logged in sync - no problem (even email, password... I wrote it!) I clicked sync, but my favorites are not come to the top. I closed Firefox and re-opened, but still no bookmarks. I looked at the settings and everything is checked. I wouldn't change anything. What Miss me? Thank you.
Both devices use new synchronization and more importantly on Firefox 30.
If you you don't need the synchronization of the former, and even if you use the same address as used for synchronization of the old all should operate under the new synchronization.
I think that the new synchronization drops devices that have not synchronized within the past 21 days.

Service Pack 1 will not install after that the pc has been reset to the factory settings
At my pc reset due to problems of crashing and freezing factory settings, when turned on after resetting received masses of updates Service Pack 1 has not been installed, but it shows in the story as being successful. He reappears in the form of waiting for update installation, but when the terms & Condtions accepted the installation takes a few seconds, history shows successful but it has not yet installed. So I can't install SP2 to update Internet Explorer 9
Hello.
Thanks for the reply. I found a previous question with a similar problem as mine, there was a solution that I followed and was able to install SP1. I should have done this before my question!I also installed SP2. Resetting to the factory settings was a last resort due to a problem I was experiencing, but after installation of SP2 my original problem reappears. The problem is now in terminal phase and looks like a new pc.In any case, once again thanks for your help, I know where to go with future questions I have.John -

Retrieve the product key Windows 7 Pro when the laptop has been restored to Windows Vista
My laptop fujitsu has been sent for repair; the technician has restored the settings to factory default which wiped out the Professional Windows 7 operating system. My laptop has been improved by Windows Vista Edition Fujitsu Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional during a previous repair. How one don't get the product key for Windows 7 Professional in this case? Should I inform Microsoft of my laptop series No. to recover the product key of Windows 7 Professional? If so, then how do then? Thank you very much for your quick response.
If the machine has been 'improved' during a repair - then they must have attached the relevant sticker of COA or PoL card to the machine.
If they don't, and you do not specifically for the upgrade, then it has never been a valid upgrade.

NB200-10Z - how to restore factory settings?
Hello
I seem to have a pretty annoying problem with the NB200 - 10Z.
The operating system is WinXP SP3.I was looking to restore it to its factory settings by using the tools of Toshiba, pressing F8 during the boot sequence, this however does not take me to a screen where I can choose 'Repair' as online guide of Toshiba said.
My only options were by selecting start normally, or start in safe mode, safe mode with network and so on. I have consulted the original manual included with the laptop, but that doesn't make the light on the problem, in fact I found the manual to be pretty empty.
There isn't any help on formats, restore to factory or other maintenance. Disappointing.Another option is creating a recovery disk, however, Toshiba tool will only advise that it cannot find all the stations that contain writable media, simply because the NB200-10Z is not a CD/DVD/BD drive. The only available ports are SD and USB.
So my question is, how do I format/reset to factory settings the NB200-10Z without external CD/DVD/readers writers, using the USB/SD slots? Because I can't find a way to create an ISO recovery with the Toshiba tool, which I was able to get on a bootable USB device.
And even if there is a way to do it, how do I adjust the NB200 to boot from USB? Looking at the bios settings and boot options, showed that only the LAN and HARD drive are supported.Greetings,
Boris
Hi Boris,.
Usually, if you start media recovery disk creator, you can choose on which device (CD/DVD or USB) the recovery media must be created. There you should be able to change between the CD/DVD drive and USB. If you select USB you can create the recovery on a USB media.
You can boot from that disk if you connect before you start the computer, then go to the start of the BIOS (F12) menu and then you can select the USB key.According to the manual of the drive recovery HARD can be started while pressing the value 0 (zero) key before Windows starts.

When I connect to Windows 7 after my laptop has been asleep, the Welcome screen will block for always (10 + minutes). It does not every time, but maybe once all 5 or 6 times and it's happened lately. I can just shut the computer off and the newspaper with no problem after starting it upward, but I'm afraid, there may come a time where it does not work.
I had this problem since I got my computer 2 months ago so I don't think it's related to what I have installed. Has anyone else encountered this problem and has found a way to fix it? Is this a common bug in all of Windows 7?

Did you check the manual of your laptop?
You will find all the information about to reinstall your laptop or you get back to factory settings. Also you can find here a large number of discussions on this subject so you should only use the search function. But if you have Vista on your laptop computer you can restore the factory settings if you use HARD drive recovery or you create the recovery disk. For HARD drive recovery works you should only go into the advanced boot menu by pressing F8, select Repair my computer and follow the instructions on the screen.

The answer to your question depends on what laptop you have. There
nothing to do with Windows. It should have come with instructions
How do it, but if you do not, contact the manufacturer
or check out their web site.
