My lenovo ideapad p400 windows touch 8 experiences ghosts by clicking.

From time to time comes Ghost by clicking on the the right side of my screen and when that happens, I want to close my laptop and then Open again and the ghost by clicking on will disappear but recently it didn't, so I decided to disable the touch screen , until I know what to do to fix. I would really like to know if this ghost clicking is caused by a hardware or software failure. and what are the solutions for this problem. Help please and thank you.

 Good day.

I would really like to know if this ghost clicking is caused by a hardware or software failure.

IMO it's hardware, but it also suggests a flaw in the software.  For example the calibration tool is supposed to we can help software take aware of this type of material defects and fit for them or not?

In addition, instead of disable full touch, simply disable the multi touch driver.  Then you can have at least pen support to use it.

Thanks - I just disabled the touch screen, but I'll keep that in mind too since pen support would be nice.

  • Touch of Windows 8 Power Plan vs Lenovo Ideapad S510

I received a message from battery replacement on my still "under warranty" Lenovo ideapad. Lenovo customer support reported that the Power Plan microsoft software generated the message.

They worked remotely with my laptop.  Deleted the latest version of the plan of power and reinstalled several times, given the message of battery replacement.  Put the windows power management 7 and my computer does not but still the same message.  They eventually remove the software completely, power plan saying that it was the problem.

Is it possible for Windows Power Plan software enter into conflict with the system of Lenovo to give false to replace your battery warnings?  Seems incomplete, BUT I'm certainly not a guru of the pc.  Advice?

Your link works fine, but the report is corrupt.  When you run powercfg /batteryreport it says the file is saved in the c:\windows\system32 and is called report.html battery.

You must download this file (as is the case) and put a link to that.  You should be able to open it yourself by double clicking it (it will open in your browser)

  • My disappointing experience with the Lenovo Ideapad A1 Tablet

As a student who lives on a scholarship that I had saved for months to buy a Lenovo ideapad A1 compressed. After seeing it shipped to the United States, I felt satisfied with his system Android and several features it offered. I felt happy with it, up to 3 months after the purchase. I turned it on a morning expect to read the daily news and I noticed 2 lines horizontal purple color and a line horizontal color cyan who were stuck in the screen all the time. Logically, what I've done is to call Lenovo support, since I bought it only very recently. To my surprise, I was told that the Lenovo A1 tablet doesn't come with any kind of guarantee on the screen at all. And even more frustrating to know that the replacement of this screen is from $ 200 to $ 300 . It's still more expensive than buying another Tablet! How this is possible when the LCD screens are one of the products that have more problems in the manufacturing process?

Thank you. I sent my tablet to fix (it has not even turn on a couple of days) I am now waiting for them. I had good experiences with service of lenovo Centre before, I hope they can fix

  • Adapter network on laptop computer Lenovo IdeaPad U350, works do not since upgrading to Windows 7.

    Hello.
Am running windows 7 on a laptop computer Lenovo IdeaPad U350, but experiencing problems with the network adapter. Wireless connection works, but I can not connect via the direct cable connection. All of the updates were made and in device, the network card Manager (Broadcom 802.11 g network adapter) seems to work fine, BUT still I can't connect. I downloaded the driver from the manuvacturer (Lenovo) and installed. He still does not!

Any ideas how to solve this problem? I am currently connected to the internet via a wireless connection, but need a wired connection.

    PLEASE HELP :)

Here's a solution - eventually had to resort to using the Ethernet coz I had to transfer massive amounts of data and using the WiFi was just a bad idea.

Agree with the above the drivers Lenovo doesn't have just a whole bunch of stuff (unzip, etc, etc) and curiously does not seem to go through the process to INSTALL anything... disappointment.

For those of you who know how to get to the old plant 'Disc' (Yes, they still exist in Win7), you can get your hands on the drivers here http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netlink_k57.php--est comes with the good old INF files to tell the system what and where to install

Go to disc (fuck..... another Google process [Bing since I'm on a MS Web site] the answer)...

    0 have the Admin rights
    1. open your browser.
    2. right click on computer / my computer > properties > Device Manager
    3. I hope that the offending devices (Ethernet in this case) shows prominently in the other category
4 click on it > properties
5 looking around for the the driver update button
6 browse my computer for training software
    7. just choose from devices... (blah blah)
    8 have Disk (tada!)
    9. then point just where you have unpacked the driver with the permission of Broadcomm files.

    Hope that helps.

  • Lenovo Ideapad S400 Touch screen problem.

Original title: Lenovo Ideapad Touch - Touch Ghost S400

    Hi all

I'm tapped with continuous tapping of the touch screen of my laptop, even if no one is in contact with it.

This often happens when I use the touch screen or leave my laptop on for too long. I tried to disable and uninstall the drivers for the touchscreen device but it keeps appearing whenever I start my PC in Device Manager.

Someone knows how to fix this? I've already sent this unit to the service center, but the problem persists.

    Thanks for the reply.

The problem persists even after installing new drivers and calibration of the touch settings, this could be a problem with the hardware. I suggest you to contact the Lenovo Support for assistance on this issue.

  • Optiarc DVD RW AD 7740: disabled by Windows 8 on Lenovo Ideapad G580

My Lenovo IdeaPad G580 does not now recognize the driver for the DVD drive. A few days ago there was some updates of Windows 8 downloaded on the computer that may have caused this problem. Device Manager displays the following error message: "Windows cannot start this hardware because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) ».

I uninstalled the DVD driver for Windows 8 re - install, but this has not fixed the problem. I did a restore of the system to a previous date updates and this could not solve the problem as well.

Would appreciate any help on how to resolve this situation. Thank you.

    Hello

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

Having too much CD/DVD programs can cause strange problems, especially if they load of parties
themselves at the start because they will be competing for resources. This does not mean this problem
has been caused by those, however, it is a possibility that and how much you
have installed. Uninstall 3rd party not CD/DVD programs necessary or if he suspected to be
part of the question (not one of those included in Windows).
