  • Satellite L15 the screen has a red/pink tint

When I turn on my toshiba Satellite L15 the screen has a red/pink tint and then 2 minutes later it is fine until the next time I turn on the computer it's screen it self or the inverter?

    Hello

Not easy to tell if it s screen or FL inverter question.
FL Inverter control the backlight of the screen and usually if the FL inverter start problems, then you can see photos on the screen as behind a thick fog.
Then maybe he problem s screen but that's just a guess.

However, FL inverter is not very expensive, but the laptop screen is one of the expensive laptop parts so I m not sure if it is s to replace the screen and pay 200-300 Euros for the fix

  • Red tint at startup

    Hello

I have a laptop Dell Studio 1535 running Windows 7 and recently the screen briefly shows a red tint on the move, when I switch to a new account user, or when I stop my black screen saver. In fact, where the entire screen is black, there a red hue when the desktop appears. It will last only a few seconds and the screen normally without any shade.

A few weeks before, the screen seemed "flicker" or "shake" slightly - it does not distort the text on screen, but the light was not constant.  In addition, the left side of the screen was slightly darker than the right. It would stay like this all day and regardless of my change the brightness of the screen. The "flicker" was more apparent when I lowered the brightness of the screen. I thought maybe it was due to a bad converter so I replaced it myself, but the issue has not been resolved. Then a few days ago I noticed a slight tint of red on the lower left of the screen. I rebooted the computer and the whole screen was red tint to the Dell start page.  After that I would like to connect to Windows, the screen would change to its normal color. "Twinkle" has disappeared, but now, the hue is there every time I have spend an all black screen to normal screen.

The hue does not appear when I go into the BIOS and I finished the BIST test. Every thing looks normal during the test, except when the screen turned white after having been black - even once the red hue appeared. However, when white appeared later in the test, there is no red hue, although it seemed a bit yellow (unless it was just a visual illusion to watch the test so closely). There are no scratches, blur, and the tint is not constant.

I don't have an external monitor to do additional tests.  I made sure I have the latest video drivers. Do I need a new view or maybe a graphics card? Of the forum search, I did find a possible answer to this question.

    I appreciate help with this.

It is interesting to borrow an external monitor or take the system in a store that allows you to test with a.  The sound of it, the backlight is what is a failure - which means that you will need a new Billboard.  However, check with an external display - if OK status, then it is the backlight.  If this isn't the case, you will need to replace the motherboard.

    Hey Buddy,

Usually this mode Red Cross that there is no audio driver not installed or pilot is confusing until you already tried reinstalling the audio driver?

What sound card you have installed?
Normally, you can get all the drivers on the official website of Toshiba, but for an older model like yours, I guess to check the other pages. For example, if you have a sound card Realtek, check the Realtek page directly: www.realtek.com

  • I have a View Sonic LCD 24 inch flat screen and it has a blue tint, how can I solve this problem?

I have a View Sonic LCD 24 inch flat screen and it has a blue tint, how can I solve this problem?

    Hello

He got this 1 day, or has it just begun?

If it was always this way, it could be a manufacturing defect or your advanced display settings may be incorrect. The latter can be determined according to the settings/Advanced/display/personalization in the control panel settings. See Customization here, it varies depending on the manufacturer, but you focus on controls that adjust color output.

If it has started, then it is possible the monitor had a malfunction. I put another monitor (if available) on the system. If the problem persists, then the fault is in the video card or display drivers. If it disappears, then the monitor can go wrong (you can try to adjust the settings on the screen itself to see if it has no effect). If it turns out to be the graphics card, I would like to firstly download and install a new set of drivers for the graphics card or the manufacturer of the system (the best for download, then uninstall the current set restart and install the new download).

  • Windows 7 boot logo is displayed in strange colors, printing of the bios is blurry and has a yellow tint

I have been using Windows 7 on my desktop since mid-January of this year, first beta, then RC1 and now install Windows 7 Professional. I had not encountered this problem in one of my previous installations.

Arriving at the "windows startup screen" the animated windows logo appears in an odd arrangement of green and purple hues. Windows itself seems to have no real color problem arriving at the login screen. What is more strange is that mother Foxconn BIOS for my card start page now displays the text extremely blurry and has a yellowish tint on the edges of the letters.

Video card drivers reach this somehow similar? Or is it just something funny with my installation of Windows?

Edit: I apologize if this is the wrong forum, couldn't really find anything specific enough for this. Thank you!

Thank you to have moved. And you're right, this isn't windows, just a coincidence with the time of installation. I don't know what happened, but now everything is wobbly. I was getting a black and purple theme by entering in my bios instead of blue and yellow.

  • Red tint when printing from Photoshop to Canon IP7250

I have the same problem when I try and print to one of my canon printers.  I have Canon ip7250 and MG650 of Canon.

The prints came out without any black and the image had a red tinted layer.  On the preview, the image looked OK and black look black.

I changed between photoshop manage colors and the printer manage colors and then the red tint disappeared, however black was then with rays.  I experimented with different printing options and 7200 series PT1 works correctly.  I went back to print another using the same settings and the red hue appeared again.

How to print correctly if the impression is identical to the image on the screen.

I have a MAC with the latest operating system.

    Hi dannyboy888,

Could if it you please let me know the version of Photoshop you're working on?

Also could you please try to print from other applications outside of Photoshop with the same settings.

Red displays on all images, or individual?

Also, please make sure that the printer drivers are up to date.

    Kind regards

    Tanuj
