  Yes, unfortunately GFWL's an imperfect system. Steam has similar problems. I find the best way to avoid
  problems is to play all the games that are related to a system off line.

  You can certainly remove the songs from your iTunes library.  You can not "reassign" purchased songs to your existing Apple ID.  However, you can authorize your computer for more than an Apple ID, not getting these messages.  But you would need the old Apple ID and password to do so.
